Hi. So I recently am having this problem. I still have it now. Medyo GROSS yung story ko.

Nagswimming kami ng Sunday, tapos kinabukasan nagstart yung itchiness (Monday). At first akala ko it will just eventually go away, pero the whole day talaga ang kati and lumala pa. I was wet the whole time and feeling worried na. So I decided to search sa Google. Vaginal Itch, Vaginal thrush, until yung Vaginal Yeast Infection.

After ko nagresearch, that whole night hindi ako nakatulog ng maayos kasi super itchy talaga. Then kinabukasan morning (Tuesday), nagsearch ulit ako about YI and checked the images at symptoms. Similar saken. Nicheck ko rin discharge ko, and I found small whitish cheese-like stuff. Wala naman sha odor. After that  nagbasa ako ng home remedies kasi wala ako budget now to run to an OB. I tried washing my vaj with apple cider, and somehow medyo nawala yung kati, but for a while lang din.

I decided to check my vaj sa mirror, and nagwonder ako ano yung maputi sa loob. So I tried to open it and nandiri ako sa nakita ko. The whole area pag inopen yung lips is filled with the cheese-like stuff. As in puno talaga. I tried to remove them and wipe them off, and ganun nga sha same sa YI images.

So I bought Canesten cream, then applied it sa vagina ko, but not internally. Medyo nawala na yung itch. 5 hours after ako nag-apply, nagdischarge ako ng yellow-greenish, parang phlegm. Sticky sha. Medyo naworry na naman ako.

Kinabukasan, nagwash ulit ako this morning, then applied. I checked inside. May mga kokonting white stuff nalang, and di na ganun ka itchy. Then medyo dry na yung vaj ko. Nagdischarge, pero di na same that night. May konting itch but not to the point na kakamutin ko pa.

I wonder if may over the counter na Canesten Vaginal Tablet, yung pinapasok sa loob, meron ba nun? What do you think about dun sa yellow-green discharge? Dahil ba yun sa Canesten pag apply ko?

What else would you recommend please? I'm not seeing an OB soon. Thanks!

Hi girls! ask ko lang ano ang side effects ng Neo Penotran? sobrang itchy kasi noong loob after ko siya ilagay and this happened on my third night.

Hi sis! Just went to my OB a while ago. Nagpa pap smear test ako and the doctor said 2 weeks pa malalaman yung result and kinakabahan ako sa result pero nagbigay na ng reseta yung doctor yung supposatory. Ilang weeks kaya bago gumaling? Thanks

Sis i think abstain muna from sexual contact for a few days lang naman yun. Para mas mabilis ang healing mo. After the supp regimen pag ok ka na you can continue naman na your usual sexual contact activities..

Usually vaginal suppository is prescribed pag may infection. My wife is about to give birth and during her pregnancy twice sya pina suppository because too much sugar intake nagka white discharge sya. Every other day ang pag lagay ng suppository. After 3 suppository everything clears up. Also her OB advised her to wash with 3 tablespoons of vinegar mixed in a glass of water. Once during morning and 2nd one at night before using the suppository. Also have your partner insert it. Hindi kaya on your own. And mahapdi talaga which is the normal effect but is not supposed to last more than 10 mins.

You can't have sexual contact when you're using suppositories. I was diagnosed with bacterial and yeast infection before. If condoms come into contact with your vagina, which most likely still has the medicine inside you throughout the day despite the discharge, the effects of your Meds might lessen. Besides, using suppositories means you have an infection. You wouldn't want your partner to end up having an infection too. Trust me. My partner and I had experienced that.

Question. Sino sa inyo nakatry na gumamit ng cansten suppository? Gumagamit kasi ako. Itchy kasi down there. Twice na ako gumamit. Ang problema sa paggising ko sa umaga, buo pa rin siya. Ang alam ko iyong suppository matutunaw o mag dissolve sa loob di ba? Pero sa akin buo pa rin. Ganun ba talaga basta canesten? Pero i notice nabawasan dun ang itchiness kahit papano.

i just had my papsmear result with inflammation.. wala si dra kaya next week pa mapapainterpret i already back read on this thread and seems like un may inflammation na sisses nag take ng gamot and suppository..

Hello, I'm Zoe, I just wanna ask, it's my first time to go to OB because of the abnormal white discharge with foul smell. and she do a papsmear, nagreseta sya ng neo penotran for 7 days. I was wondering Kung ilang araw  lalabas yung result ng papsmear, or the OB already know the result that leads her to prescribe neo penotran? I went to the OB yesterday June 8, and Baka may marecomend kayo na mabait na OB, yung affordable but with good service.  I hope anyone can answer me.

i am no doctor here, but based on my experience when you have your flower checked, wide open and in your case, you had your pap smear. The OB has already seen the specimen/fluid/discharge but has to be sure of what it is, to be specific and accurate.

Neo Penotran is an antibiotic. It is a suppository and since it was prescribed to you. I am thinking you should buy it. hehe as you can see, i used it last year and was prescribed to use it for 10 days.

for the OB recommendation, it depends on where you are located. Kase baka may mag suggest pero too far away from your place hehe

Thanks for the information about the papsmear sis, I already started using neo penotran forte last night. I feel better after I used it for the first time. I'll be using it for 7 days as what the OB prescribed.  Because I'm scared of the discharge that I see in my V, I rush to the OB recomemded by a friend, though it's my first time to see an OB, Ang mahal Pala. Im staying in metro Manila sis, im looking for an OB that is near my place, Taft , sta. Cruz, or Kalentong sis Magkano doctors fee ng OB mo sis? At yung papsmear fee?

So this year lang tatlong beses ako tinamaan ng yeast infection I dont know kung bakit. Pero that lead me to this thread.

kwento ko lang, yung 1st time (oct '15 to march '16) na umattack to tiniis ko yung kati and discharge for  more than 4months kasi on off naman and takot kasi ako magpacheck kung baka ano na to kaso lang nagkakarashes na yung genital area ko kakakamot so napagpacheck ako yeast infection daw according sa OB ko ang ginawa lang nya saken nun ay yun may pinasok syang parang metal then paghila nya may mga cottage cheese like discharge syang nakuha. niresetahan nya lang ako ng fluoconazole 1tab lang for 3 days then if sa 4th day may itching pa take pa raw ako ng another tab. luckily after 1st tab nawala naman kati and discharge.

yung 2nd time naman umattack sya last May 9, '16, magpapcheck sana ko nun sa OB pero sa iba na kasi dissatisfied ako sa unang ob nakukulangan talaga ko. kaso that time walang available na OB kasi nga botohan. eventually nawala yung kati at discharge so pinagsawalang bahala ko na.

then comes the 3rd this June lang, almost a week syang kumati until nagdecide ako yesterday to have it check sa may OB sa festival mall. Chineck nya yung area then sabi nya ipapapsmear nya ko kasi pabalik balik nga. Tapos niresetahan nya ko ng fluconazole to be taken once daily for 3 days. then neo penotran forte L supp. every night for 7 days.


first day ko kagabi ng supp. i dont know if i did it right pero pag gising ko naman kaninang umaga may white discharge na parang cream sa undies ko at kumati sya kaya dali dali akong nag cr to wash it and nagpalit ako undies. normal ba yung ganun mga sis? saka parang nanaket yung balakang ko pero sandali lang pag gising ko lang naman.

I went to ob kanina kasi i always have light yellow discharge. Actually matagal na kanina lang ako ginanahan pacheckup.

Nilagay sa thin glass yung discharge ko then after two hours lang may result na. Sabi dun no intra extracellular gram negative diplococci seen. Kung babasahin ko sounds like parang healthy naman ako. But my ob prescribed me parin this vag suppository plus anti biotic.

Nakalagay numerous pus cells,  diminished lactobacilli, gram negative Bacilli - many and gram negative Coccobacilli - numerous.

Sabi ni doc due to intercourse daw yun pero i know sa sarili ko wala akong sexlife in two years so pano nangyari na ganun findings nya.

Hope you find time to read this and reply po mga sisses super puyat na ko kaka research online pero di ko mahanap sagot.

@llashes - no experience, if that was seen in your result your OB should be able to explain to you what was that

sabi ni google:
Squamous cells are thin and flat and grow on the surface of a healthy cervix.

Given that, anong klaseng squamous cell un nakita sa result?

@katey_41 - i hope by this time okay ka na. anyway try to drink lots of water (easier said than done) and yogurt or parang yakult everyday.


@sassy_gal18 - i hope ok ka na my advise is wag na mashado patagalin ang checkup kapag ka may mga distubring itchiness or what sa flower area

For those having an infection,advice lang..

>just follow all your OB advice, they prescribed a medicine which is should be take according to their knowledge. Kapag sinabi nilang take it in 3-7days even nawala na yung discharge continues lang, kasi hindi naman natin agad nalalaman kung wala na talaga yung infection ee.. Drink your medicine as prescribed, and same time and continue it as what the OB advice.

>in case naman na kumakati, or what pumunta kayo sa OB as when you are scheduled, very expensive kasi kung mag papanic tayo agad. wag daw tayo mag douch kasi matapang yun.. much better if we are going to wash it w/ feminine wash or water only.. may mga good bacteria din naman kasi tayo sa vagina so para hindi mapatay w/ should avoid high content of soaps.

> kung mejo duda tayo sa medicine by the OB when can go to another OB for second opinion, but then we have to tell them the issue and the medicine we have take.
