Hi mga sis. Regarding papsmear. Kindly ask your OB for a LIQUID BASED PAPSMEAR, kasi same specimen ang isusubmit for HPV DNA, without the hassle of you doing the papsmear again.
Its a lil costly compared with the conventional smear, pero yang mga worries sa mga HPV, doubtful cells or whatever, mas directive and precise ang LIQUID BASED na.

Going back to itchiness, discharge, STD like feeling.. Just dont self medicate with suppositories. Huge industry ang mga suppositories. Meaning, napakadami nian. Kaya mahirap makipagsapalaran.

mga sis may nakapag try na ba sa inyo nung Itraconazole na capsule? iinsert din daw sa V.  Tried last night, ang hirap niya kasi capsule.  Tapos nag search ako sa net, parang wala akong makitang for insert siya huhubels  pero yun naman ang nakalagay sa reseta ni OB

2 capsules pa naman dapat iinsert as per OB's prescription.  hindi ko naipasok masyado yun pangalawang capsule kaya paggsing ko hindi natunaw. tinanggal ko nalang.

Worried lang baka hindi pang pempem yun e.. baka oral talaga or mali lang pagkabigay sa pharnacy yun pang oral yun naibigay.

I was given metronidazole (flagsystatin) by my ob for BV..this is for 7days..question ko po, normal lang po ba na parang may droplets ng suppository n lalabas if iihi ka sa morning after you put the suppository? Di ko kasi sure if nag.effect yung med or not

Then question din po..yung gramstain ko kasi is positive cocci in pairs and positive bacilli din po..ano po meaning nyan? Di po kasi naexplain sa akin pa ng ob ko..

I was admitted to the hosp recently kasi prior sa flagystatin, i was given by my ob 1000mg n azithromycin and metronidazole n tablet and di ko nakayanan yung side effects kaya ayun..suppository yung binigay.. then yun IM ko n doc said n yung infection ko daw is std..me and my partner doesn't have any contact naman sa iba kaya im worried..true ba n ang BV and yung candidiasis is makukuha sa std? This really got me all stressed up.. We always use protection naman and we clean up after everytime..
Need your advises po. TIA.

My V feels itchy, burning and painful with very minimal discharge, no odor. i change my fem wash to gyne-pro. nabawasan ang itchy and burning feeling kaso kinabukasan sobra na talaga yung kati kaya i consulted my OB had pap smear (next week pa result) then she prescribed neo-penotran forte L (metronidazole/ miconazole/ lidocane) VS for 7days. (day 3 today)
mukha daw kasi may mixed infection bacterial and fungal (cadidiasis).
she told me to expect masakit/mahapdi yung medicine kaya may lidocane prescribe nya para mas less yung discomfort. she advised din na gawin ko na lahat ng routine ko bago matulog wash/pee para pag insert ng VS matulog n daw ako. my experience with VS
day 1 : sobrang makati at burning ang feeling ng gamot. woke up very wet as in pati shorts ko basa. there are white residues present sa undies  (which is normal). na lessen na itchy and burning feeling ng aking "V"
Day 2: hindi ko alam kung bakit pero sobrang makati at burning ang pakiramdam ng aking "V" paglagay ng VS. sobra nairita ako kaya nag wash ako after 3hours. mas dumami ang aking discharge.
Day 3 today and good thing halos wala na yung makati at burning feeling paglagay ng VS.

i have PCOS bilateral so may hormonal imbalance and also very prone to have high blood sugar levels. (candidate for diabetes type 2) ang suspetcha ni OB mataas blood sugar ko kaya ako nagkaroon ng BV and cadidiasis.

When in was prego with my 1st child nagka-v infection din ako yun may butlig butlig daw sabi ng ob kaya kung ano ano ang pinalalagay mga ointment etc..then nagsuppository din ako.yun may tube na iniinsert lang sa v then saka pipigain para maiwan yun liquid sa loob.limot ko yun name..it worked naman sakin hassle nga lang yun pag-insert insert..

Bakit nga pala sis kumakati ang v mo? if you dont mind

^hello sis..i feel sorry for your pempem..can you clarify sis anong plastic yung iniwan mo sa luob..may applicator/plunger yan diba..dapat aalisin mo muna sa packaging yung tablet then ilalagay mo sa dulo nun applicator tapos saka mo ipapasok nang dahan dahan sa pempem mo..then dapat paghugot mo nun applicator e maiwan na yung tablet sa luob ng pempem mo..

I went to my OB yesterday because of a suspected YI. I have a lot of white discharges, my OB is so friendly and chatty. She prescribed me 3 tabs of Fluconazole, i have 2 choices to choose Funzela (599/tab) or Fluconaz (280/tab)
I hope my YI will clear out soon!

Hi girls! Bago lang ako dito. Kwento ko lang yung sakin. Nagpacheck up ako a month ago sa ob kase masakit yung menstrual cramping ko for the past 3 months na which is hindi naman ganun dati at saka pag nagses3x kami ng partner ko minsan may konting spotting binalewala ko lang yun dati kase naisip ko minsan medyo rough kase. I had TransV UTz and papsmear. Utz results showed I have a small cyst on my left ovary and my ob said that my uterine wall is thicker than normal which means medyo mahihirapan ako pag gusto ko magbuntis so sabi ko ayoko pa naman so sabi nya observe muna. Tapos yung papsmear ko Mild Inflammation yung result pero niresetahan nya ako ng Albothyl vaginal supp once every other day for 7 days and azithromycin 500mg for 7days. Sakto naman niregla ako nung araw na binili ko cya at since wala naman advise yung ob sakin at nalimutan ko rin itanong kung ok lang so inumpisahan ko pa rin cya ipasok. Hindi naman [textspeak!] malakas ang regla ko kahit first day so wala naman problema naipasok ko naman. Kinabukas  nako ng umaga bumangon tapos nun grabe yung menstrual pain simula paggising around 7am hanggang sa bago let ako matulog sa gabi ng 10pm. Naisip ko bumalik sa ob kinabukasan which is today sana kung hindi pa mawawala yung sakit buti nalang kanina umaga nawala din naman. Nagtataka lang ako [textspeak!] mild inflammation lang naman saka sabi ni doc parang gasgas sa cervix lang daw kaya need itreat kaya lang bat parang ang tindi naman 7 vaginal supp plus 7 days of oral antibiotic. Hindi ko naman naitanong kung std ba yun?! Kase wala naman cya sinabi din. Worried ako [textspeak!] pano ko naman sasabihin sa partner ko yun na baka need nya din pacheck up eh sigurado naman akong wala kami pareho iba. Wala naman [textspeak!] kakaiba sa vajay ko. Walang pangangati, foul smelling, redness etc. Yung cramping lang pag may period at occasional spotting after sex. May nakaexperience na ba neto?

Sis help me. I' m just new member here. Hope may magreply. First week of this month, biglang kumakati private part then may discharges na parang milky yellow. Di ko muna pinansin kasi katatapos ng period ko. Pero lumipas ang araw ganun pa din. Ang kati kasi lalo na pag nararamdaman kong may discharge na lalabas. So nagpacheck up ako sa ob sabi may yeast infection ako kaya binigyan ako ng clotrimazole candiva vgel na ilalagay inside may vagina for 5days. Narelieve naman ako. Mejo di ko na naramdaman pangangati but still have discharges. Then i go back to my ob after taking the suppository candiva gel. Kasi biglang kumati na uli at may discharges pa rin at mas dumami ang lumalabas. So she gave me metronodazole tablet. 3x a day for 5 days. And nagpareseta na din ako ng pang antifungal cream for my vagina. After taking those med nag spotting ako on my 2nd day. Tas naging yellow green discharges pero no foul odor naman siya. I finished my 5 days med but still have the yellow green discharges pero di naman na makati. Bumalik ako kay ob again pero out of town siya so i decided to go sa other ob. Pinapsmear niya ko and she gave me neo penotran forte suppository for 10 days and inoflox tablet for 7days. Now, im on my 7th day of suppository but still greenish discharges. Super worried na ko mga sis. Halos mag 1 month na kasing ganito . Nag gagamot naman ako. May nakaranas rin ba sainyo ng ganito? Hanggang kelan ba ganito kaya o kusang mawawala na [textspeak!] discharges? Help me please.

Mine lasted for 1.5years.  Mis diagnosis ng ob sa Singapore.Keeps on telling me na YI daw.  Trans-V and pap smear says normal.  And every time magpapacheck ako sa kanya same meds and bnibigay (Sertaconazole) at Neoderm cream.  My discharge varies from white, yellow to greenish. Minsan may amoy minsan wala.  Minsan nagtaka ako kasi I bled after me and my bf had contact.Akala ko normal lang dahil sa size ni bf or baka di ako masyado wet.  Nagresearch ako and sabi chronic YI pag more than 4x a year.  I had mine atleast 1x a month for 1.5 years.
 Nagpacheck ako ng blood  sugar, normal.  HIV negative.  Nakakafrustrate kasi ginagamot mo naman pero parang walang nangyayari.  Not to mention yun cost ng check up at meds dito sa SG.
 It affected our sex life.1 or 2x na lang in a month.  Nawala din un confidence ko na walang amoy ang vagina ko.  Nun umuwi ako ng Manila, nagpatingin ako sa ob.  She said it was BV by the look and smell of my discharge.  Then nagrequest ako for pap smear since 10mos ndn un last ko.
 Then my ob said na I have cherry cervix which indicates trichomoniasis.  Yes, I have combi of YI,BV and Trich.  Nagrequest pa ko ng Candida, Trichomoniasis and Gardnerella test.  Pero sabi ni ob, sa itsura ng cervix ko, its trich.  CTG test is pricey, 3700php sa hi precision and kailangan ng referral ng ob (sorry TMI).

Trichomoniasis is sexually transmitted.  If you got this, both you and your partner should be treated.  Makes sense kaya pala pabalik balik un abnormal discharge ko no matter how much I try to treat it coz my bf is carrying it.  And he never showed any symptom at all.  Inis na inis kami sa ob na tumingin sa kin dito sa SG.  Neither of us cheated in our relationship.  Open kami ni bf about dito.  [textspeak!] nya before we met he had unprotected sex with a girl na nkadate nya and nagbleed din after nila mag do (not sure kung ayun na nga yun pero it could be a symptom of trich).  Di naman nila pinansin.  Until me and my bf met and got together.  Then the whole time were together, was the time my abnormal discharge started (TMI ulet, sorry).

Anyway, my ob gave me neo penotran forte for 7 days and pati si bf binigyan nya ng flagyl 3x a day for 7 days.  Were halfway our treatment and so far, I can see an improvement sa smell ng discharge ko.  No contact muna kami ni bf until we finished our medication.

share ko yung experience ko using vaginal suppository for the first time. 

im 26w preggy and have cottage cheese discharge for about 3months na. dahil siguro sa antibiotic na ininom ko for my uti when i was 3mos, nagkaroon tuloy ako ng yeast infection. di naman sya makati at minsan lang may foul smell kaya dinisregard ko sya. until now na parang dumadami ang cottage cheese discharge ko kaya nagcomplain na ako kay ob.

ob precribed canesten 500mg pero isa lang dahil mataas na daw dosage nun. but omg.. nagulat ako sa price. P594.00 ang isang tablet sa mercury. may kasama na syang applicator pero di ko ginamit, nakalagay kasi sa manual na di advisable mag-applicator pag preggy.

last night, sinubukan ko na sya gamitin. medyo late night ko na sya nilagay kasi maya't maya ako nagpi-pee. ang sakit nya ipasok sa pem. (sorry tmi) at di talaga successful. nagtry na din ako na basain ng water ang lips ni pem kaso failed pa din. sobra dry nya eh. then, naisipan ko gisingin si hubby. magkaaway pa naman kami at 2days na di ko sya pinapansin. no choice ako. kelangan ko magwet (tmi uli) para sa easy insertion kasi masasayang ang kamamahar na suppository. haha. gulat si hubby at yun, gumawa na ako ng aking move pero no penetration naman. sad to say, di ako nagwet! aligaga ako at wala sa focus eh.  (pero good news, bati na kami  ). pinapanood pa nya ako ng porn. pero waley.  huhu.  tapos sinuggest nya na gumamit ako ng lube. hesitant ako nung una kasi baka may chemical yun na di compatible sa suppository. pero nag-go na din ako sa lube. mapupuyat na kami ng husto. water based naman ang lube. si hubby ang naginsert para deep ang pagkakalagay. mahaba daliri nya eh.  successful na. pero medyo masakit pa din.

this morning and this afternoon. may mga leaks ng dissolved suppository. medyo messy sya. asa office pa naman ako. kaya need talaga naka-pantyliner. pero up to this hour mula nung insertion, wala pa naman ako discharge na kakaiba. effective sya for now para sa akin. sana magtuloy tuloy ito at di na bumalik ang YI ko.
