So after your doctor's check-up, you've been prescribed a vaginal suppository. Somehow you've been clueless on how to use it ( you were so nervous, you didn't understand what your doctor was telling you) since it is your 'first time' having vaginal suppository..shoot, what's next?

This thread is dedicated for all our sisses who need the 'technical, know-how's' of vaginal suppositories (how to use them, problems using them, side effects, effectivity, etc). "Old Timers" are advsied to shed some light to those sissess who need a helping hand and to share their experiences.

Note: Vaginal Suppository is prescribed by your OB-Gyne, don't self-medicate.

i'll be using flagystatin tonight, share naman kayo ng side effects nito and why are you being treated by this tablet?

yan din question ko sis... i started using albothyl to treat moderate inflammation pero on my secong tablet, nagkaroon kami ng contact ni bf. should i start again?

Parang ito din yung priniscribed sakin ng ob gyne ko because of trichonomas pero di natuloy kasi i'm pregnant that time & ang naremember ko no contact muna pag may ganto.

flagystatin din pinrescribe saken ng OB ko.  for 7 nights and she clearly told me na wala munang contact within that 7 days.  pero nakalimutan ko itanong pano sa 8th day kung pwede na   

and one more thing, i'm not really sure if i'm doing it correctly.  kase parang pag insert ko, parang bumababa siya.  so dapat pag insert hindi na ako gagalaw.  and after i pee in the morning mapapansin ko may mga white na kasama which is yung flagystatin ata.  so hindi ko alam kung nagka effect ba yung gamot or what.

^you really have to insert it inside. and when you're on medication no contact. you can only do so when your OB gave you the go signal.

normal un whitish discharge the next day when you using suppository. you will know effective when the OB checks your cervix

^^sis, after inserting it, wag ka muna tatayo for 10 mins

tip for inserting: nagpa-prescribe ako sa ob gyne ko ng lubricant kasi may time super dry ang vajayjay natin, mahirap ipasok lalo kung medyo magaspang yung tablet (like yung Vagimycin). Lie down, then sa tip ng tablet, put a little lubricant. Upon inserting, inhale with your mouth open kasi at this position, nakarelax pala ang opening ng vajayjay natin. then push it as far as you can (make sure malinis ang finger or naka-gloves kayo). for the lubricant, my doc prescribed KY jelly.

so far, yung flagystatin, hindi siya nagiging sobrang kati unlike sa neo-penotran, parang after ten mins magiging sobrang kati na mainit sa loob nung mga first to second day ko.

wala pa result sa akin or sinabi yung doctor kasi gusto niya makita yung pap smear result ko. i think she knows what i have kaso kasi gusto niya ako bumalik sa kanya..

Same here din ito prescibed sakin pero di ko tinuloy kasi im already pregnant that time kaya im not allowed to use this. I had uti at the same time i have Trichonomas & at the same time pregnant ako that time prinescibed sakin ng ob ko.

sis kaedee, ganoon din ako kapag wiwi lalo sa morning, may white residue. i think normal naman yan kasi lahat ng ng suppository, may residue.
