Niresetahan ako ng neo for 6 days nung unang OB-GYNE ko. Since di ko sya nakausap nung day na kinuha ko yung result ng paps ko, I went to a different OB. Pina-read ko yung result ng paps and transV ko. I have normal ovaries and all. Yung result ng paps ko is benign smear with severe inflammation and reparative changes. Sounds serious pero sabi ng OB, normal lang daw ang ganyang result. Yung severe inflammation is because ginawa yung paps ko too early (6 days lang after my CD1) and may chance na magbago yun as my cycle go on. So sabi nya, para maging accurate yung result ng paps, ipagawa yung sa middle ng cycle (around 10-16 depende sa cycle length of patient). Anyway, neo is safe daw kahit pregnant.

I'm now on my 2nd night of Fluomizin vaginal tablet. My OB prescribed after my post-miscarriage d&c. No findings of any infection yet. She asked me to have my pap smear test a few weeks later. Para lang raw ma-clean ako after the procedure etc. Ganoon ba talaga or is my OB just being OC. Hehe...

Also, can anyone tell me gaano katagal di pwedeng tumayo after inserting the tablet? The tricky part for me is madalas talaga akong magwiwi sa gabi. Just like this evening. I inserted mga past 10, pero nawiwiwi na ko in less than an hour later. Pinigil ko na lang muna. Pero di ko na matiis. What I did was insert my finger into my vagina and tried to feel for the tablet. Di ko na makapa so nagwiwi na ko. I checked the toilet after I urinated, wala naman ako nakitang trace ng tablet so I hope it stayed right where it belongs or nadissolve na. Hay.

hi everyone. i have recurrent gardnerella vaginalis or bacterial vaginosis for 4 years now. i've been prescribed with several antibiotics and vaginal suppositories. i get so frustrated already because it keeps on coming back. then the cervix will get inflamed because of that. i just want to get rid of it as soon as possible. can anyone recommend the most effective vaginal suppository for gardnerella vaginalis or bacterial vaginosis? much thanks!

^I've read online that you should stop muna then resume pagstop ng mens. No need to re-start the medication. Some say pwede on the 3rd or 4th days of mens pagmahina na. Pero sis, baka iba iba per suppository and condition that's being treated so maybe it'll be best to ask your OB.

Mga sis, start palang ako gumamit ng VS. Ok lang ba na TTC kayo ng hubby mo tapos gumagamit ka ng ganito? May discharge din kasi alo at may konting blood lang kaya ako binigyan no ob...

Hi mga sis! I'm dpiui12 today, and last night was my third albothyl (every other night).

Napansin ko, the past few days, sobrang lightheaded ang pakiramdam, parang lutang and sometimes I'm afraid to stand up kasi baka mahulog ako (ganun kalala).

Question, is it because of albothyl or can I be pregnant kaya I'm feeling lightheaded?

Nagkaroon din ako ng red spotting the other day, and brown discharge yesterday and today.

Hello Sisters!

I finally started with my seven-day prescription of Neo-Penotan Forte last night. Followed a few tips na nabasa ko dito sa GT when I did some back-reading last week. Dinelay ko talaga ang pagstart ng medication kasi hirap i-timing lalo na if no contact and alcohol intake.

So last night before sleeping, nilagay ko na yung suppository. May pillow pa ako sa ilalim. No sweat naman paglagay. Hindi na rin ako tumayo katulad ng sinabi nyo. This was around 10 pm.

Medyo dinelay ko din ang paggising to make sure na walang tutulo. Got up around 9 am. When I sat on the toilet seat to pee, I noticed na may sort of white spots sa undies ko na I thought, baka galing sa meds. Hindi naman madami so di ako na-disturb. Pero when I wiped na with tissue, ang dami kong nakuha! When I smelled it, ayun amoy gamot nga.

Went to the bathroom around three times na and everytime mag tissue ako, meron pa din akong nakukuha.

What happened???

Sis if you are sure that last night you pushed the supp the farthest into the vaginal opening as you possibly can then yung whitish discharge is negligible. Yan na ang effect ng supp 'killing' your fungi inside sa vagina. Just push it further.

Rollin,
There should be no sexual contact while on medication kasi you are not healed and the penetration might irritate you even more leads to swelling, more itchiness and bleeding. Ulitin mo lahat ng supp mo pag ganyan.

You must not take supp during menstruation. It should be used AFTER menstruation. Dapat di siya nacucut ng paggamit dapat deretso 7 days yan kung yan ang prescription mo. You have to start all over kung nastop mo siya.

Light headedness is not a side effect of suppositories. Check ka na lang sa ob mo you might be pregnant?

There should be a difference like mawala na discharges and itchiness, etc. cervicitis can be treated with the right medicines. Pacheck ka sa ob mo uli, because cervicitis is caused by other std like gonnorhea, trichomonas etc.pacheck mo din with you your partner. It is better to have your mom with you.

Supp is actually safe for pregnant women pero needs caution pa rin at prescription at oversight ng ob mo.

naku, maraming salamat sa thread na ito. napaghandaan ko ang first night of using Albothyl.

no hassle naman sa pag-insert since I pretty much know my vajayjay, pero ayun, mabuti na lang talaga I researched, I used a sanitary pad kagabi. buti na lang talaga. pag dating ng morning if hindi ako nagnapkin, for sure basa ang bed ko. I inserted it pretty deep naman, as far as my middle finger can reach, tapos nakatulog ako ng nakaelevate hips ko. nagising ng madaling araw, tinanggal ko pillow under my hips then slept on my side pero nung paggising ko ng morning, nagchange side lang ako naramdaman ko ng basa yung likod ko. isa pa sa problem ko, kapag umuubo ako I can feel na lumalabas.

Mga sis last night was my first time na maglagay ng suppository. Metronidazole yung akin. Nakaupo ako nung nilagay ko sya tlad ng iba wala ako masyadong idea basta ang sabi ng mother ko eh ipapasok lang naman. Kaso nag aalangan ako kung isasagad ko ba hindi ko sure kung naisagad ko kasi sa mga nababasa ko ang sabi kung hanggang saan mo maipapasok much better. Pregnant kasi ako kaya kinakabahan ako isagad yung suppository.

Then kaninang umaga pagwiwi ko may mga white sa undies ko. I think yung gamot nayun. Iniisip ko tuloy baka hindi masyado umepekto kasi hindi ko naisagad. What should i do? Need ba talagang isagad yun? 3nights ko sya gagawin mga sis.

so dumating narin si mens ko.after ng mens ko nag contact kami ni hubby. ayun, dinugo ulit ako pero konti lang. nakaka praning naman na to.. bumili ako agad ng albothyl ulit.

i went to an ob kanina. nagpa 2nd opinion ako.haha. yung una kasi puros check lang then gamot agad.
yung ngayon naman, may ginawa sa akin. ano tawag dun? gamstain ba yun?hehe. nakalimutan ko na.
ayun, nakuha agad yung results after 30mins. may foul smell kasi sa vagina ko rin. binigyan ako ng doxi(2x a day), metro(2x/day) at albothyl again for 5 days every other night.
sukang suka na vagina ko sa suppository na yan.haha. sana gumaling na tayo mga sis. sabi ng ob ko dun sa nakita na result,may nana na daw.kasi nagkaroon ako ng imflammtion sa cervix ko.

Guys help me naman i cant find the post button.. I have some question regarding sa neo penotran. O went to ob last january 31 then sabi ko i have some discharge without smell medyo yellow lang and hindi din po itchy. Tapos papsmere niya ko may pang test sya na for a second lang malalaman yung result then yon sabi niya may infection daw ako. Sinabi pa nia may gasgas daw sa cervix ko? After ba ng 7 days na gamutan ok na yon? Super worried po ako to the point na bothered na bothered na po ako feeling ko i have serious disease.. Help naman po..

Hi mga sis..i am new here. I stumbled with this site searching for micotran. Galing ako sa ob yesterday coz i was feeling itchy talaga down there since saturday pa.i remember an episode of glee yung may commercial si santana about vaginal yeast infection..so i searched for it and nandon nga yung symptoms. Sinilip ko down there with a mirror and nakita ko yung parang may discharge ako ng cottage cheese.
It is my frist time to experience this.
Anyway so yesterday my ob performed a papsmear, i told her that i am suspecting i have a vaginal yeast infection.after inspecting she confirmed that i have it daw..or vaginal candidiasis.
She prescibed me with two medications lang pero super mahal!
First is Diflucan 150mg (generic Name: Fluconazole) which is taken orally. The second one is Micotran 1200mg (generic name Miconazole Nitrate) which is a vaginal suppository. I was surprised na konti lang..pero Ayun pala super mahal. Diflucan is 647.25 and Micotran is 530.
In the previous posts nababasa ko usually mga 7days ang suppository nila..but mine is just for 1 take lang.
I am wondering kung meron ba s inyo naresetahan ng mga ito?
Ob said it would tAke days padaw para umepek ang mga meds na ito...
I also ask her what wash is ok.she said lactacyd...kasi bfor the check up,i was using betadine feminine wash and she said it is a no no..it would worsen the infection...di ko kasi alam eh..parang last sunday i used betadine 6x kasi sobra itchy..evry aftr i pee ko sya winawash .nawawala ang itchiness temporarily lang. Bumbalik din... So i tried lactacyd pero unlike before na everytime i pee ko sya ginagamit this time last night lang. Before ko ginamit ang micotran. I peed first, wash it.


I had a hard time talaga with inserting micotran kasi nasasakitan or nahahapdian ako.nagpatulong lang ako sa partner ko...sure naman kami naipasok ng tama yun kasi di na sya visible.. I made sure not to pee in between my sleep. Kanina morning i noticed na may mga whitish ako and sumama sya while urinating.i washed with water and wiped with tissue.
I told her kasi i am suspecting i got the infection yung di napapalitan na pantiliner..
She advised me not to use pantiliner anymore and if possible not to wear panty while sleeping or any fitting clothes bawal daw.while i had micotran last night nag duster ako at nagshorts..walang panty..on regular days, better mag skirt nalang.pag sa bahay lang no panty while nagshorts.. Use cotton shorts or panty lang daw..

After a week she advised me to see her again as she will perform another papsmear.

I really hope in a few days mawawala na yung discharges and itchiness...kasi meron pa sya ngayon pero mas na lessen na sya compared dun s di pa ako ngpachek up...na parang naiiyak na ako sa kakatihan...

I hope may familiar dito sa micotran and diflucan ..if effective ba ang mga ito.thanks

Also i would like to ask what food should be eaten and food to avoid when you have this infection?

Doctor said bawal ang karne, mga toyo and kalamansi.
Totoo ba yung about sa yogurt?? Nabasa ko lang yun na dapat plain yogurt lang o walang fruit.. I forgot to ask her... Can u suggest what yogurt na walang fruit? Kasi may mga fruit yung sa nestle eh..

Never encountered yan sis the medicine aah.. Wala pa naman ata yung result ng papsmere mo.. Siguro for safety precaution lang kaya niresetahan ka ng ob mo ng ganyan kase sabi mo you suspected na may yeast infection ka.. I had my papsmere last feb. And its normal naman yung result..pray lang and wag ma stress
