hi girls. i was diagnosed with cervicovaginitis and ang treatment ko right now is albothyl every other day for 3 nights. last night was my first and this morning, walang white residue sa underwear ko but may streaks of brown lang. my ob said may tissue-like substance na lalabas but in my case, wala. when i peed, brown-ish din yung color and i'm quite scared. is this normal? thanks in advance.

hello to all.. i am 31 weeks pregnant. kahapon kasi ng laboratory cbc and urinalysis then kanina binasa ni ob yung result tapos ayun sabi ni ob my infection daw ako sa baba.. reseta nya sa akin ang flagystatin before bedtime daw i-insert at no contact na daw pagstart ng treatment. 7 nights yung continue na treatment pagkatapos repeat yung urinalysis test.

Sis yung first trimester ang critical sis but giving flagystatin on your 31st week is safe naman. Just follow everything your ob says para it would work. Stay healthy!

Sis do not be shy to ho to the ob. Trabaho nila yun to help women kaya wag ka mahiya. If you say you have white cottage cheese discharges then that means you do not have bacterial vaginosis so albothyl or any other supp is not the right treatment. Cottage cheese discharge is actually a characteristic of candida albicans infection. Medications niyan dapat is the one-dose Funzela tab tapos yan diretso infection mo.

Sis for as long as you inserted the supp correctly ok ka na niyan. Iba iba causes ng vaginal infection some are thru sex, some thru douching and vaginal washes, etc.

Woah that is a lot of questions hehe..i will try to answer some points.
You have to urinate first and wash your vagina and you hands thoroughly before inserting the supp.
You have to urinate so that when you have already inserted the supp you won't feel the urge to urinate na.
You have to prop your pelvic up a few hours so that the supp will have time to melt inside and do its job. If you stand up to pee right away, the melted suppository will flow back out.
On cleaning yourself, i recommend to eash it thoroughly with water then air dry it up.

^thanks, sis. the discharge is gone after a week of neopenotran. after a week, my ob prescribed another medicine which targets the bacteria naman daw. mukhang ok na naman.

Because sis feminine washes disrupt the normal vaginal flora. It changes the vaginal ph and the whole environment. Kahit anong wash pa yan they use the same basic ingredient. Our lolas do not seem to experience stuff like this kasi wala pang feminine wash noong panahon nila and they seem alright lang.

Hi sisses! Sayang at now ko lang naisip na magtanong sa girl talk kaya I need your help.. Wala kasi akong clue about dun sa gamot na binigay ng OB. Neo Penotran Forte-L. Kasi sabi nung secretary nung OB sa kanila daw bilin kasi wala daw yun sa mercury. Ang mahal pa naman nasa 1,100 pesos 1 box/ 7 suppositories. Same texture and way po kaya yun sa neo penotran na common nabibili?

Tapos nag ask ako pano ba ginagamit yun ang sagot lang sakin is may instructions sa loob. Shempre nung pag bukas ko, ibang language! as in walang english! Sobrang takot kaya ako ilagay nung una kasi wala akong clue at wala man lang sinabi si OB kung panu gamitin

I tried searching din sa net kaso hindi ata common yung forte-L na variant. Tapos yung texture pa nya parang pa triangle na cream pero malambot na pag open tapos hindi na sha buo. (parang cream cheese) super hirap ipasok parang kumakalat lang tapos madami din naiiwan sa finger gloves.

Hindi ko alam if dapat bang i-ref kaso wala namang sinabi si OB na ganun dapat tapos nakita ko sa internet na do not store above 25 degrees tapos do not refrigerate kaya tinatago ko na lang sa loob ng cabinet para hindi mashadong mainitan, Tama ba yun?

Tapos dapat 4th day ko na sana mag take bigla ako nagka period. Buti nabasa ko dito na dapat i-stop muna.

 Thanks for that sisses kasi medjo nag panic ako kasi ang unreliable at ang tipid at hirap kausap nung OB ko. Nakaka frustrate lang kasi first time ko magpacheck up at maka encounter ng Vaginal Suppository na gamot kaya nag freak out ako! 

So mainly question ko lang is ganun ba sha i store kasi ayoko sha masayang ang mahal if mali yung pag gamit ko.

I also have the same question! Did you girls have to go back right after the treatment?

I was prescribed the meds thru text by my doctor kasi and I was not able to ask if I have to go back for follow up.

^sis, i used neopenotran. wala naman akong na-feel na hapdi or something. the discharge was gon in 2 days.

im under treatment po neo penatran for 7 days  pang 7th day ko po kagabi i had my period hindi ko na po ininsert  pang last... ask ko lang po ok lang bang i-resume ko po  1 last neo penatran ko after my period?

Hi i had my papsmear last nov 2011 but i was able to go to OB last wk lang due to busy schedule.. May mild inflammation daw ako according sa findings but during the papsmear itself sabi nung OB parang mag gasgas daw yung cervix ko. My OB prescribed me neo penotran forte suppository so I used it last saturday. Normal lang ba yung mga may discharges na white then after a while magiging parang powder na buo? On my 2nd night of using it, the next morning... I had a discharge na color light light yellow green then texture niya similar to phleghm then may blood. Tapos nagkalower back pain din ako.... Then I stopped kasi parang magkakaroon ako... Then on my supposedly third night--nagkaroon ako. Natatakot kasi ako, ano kaya yung meaning ng discharge ko? Iyon na ba yung infection? Kelangan ko din bang ipacheck si hubby ko? Baka kasi nahawa ko siya sa infection. By the way ang nakalagay sa papsmear ko last nov ay 'mostly intermediate and superficial squamous epithelial cells in a background of moderate inflammation with predominance of bacilli compatible with bacterial vaginitis.'

Any suggestion kung ano ang dapat kong gawin at ano ang ibig sabihin nito? Sexually transmitted ba kapag ganito? Tama ba na tinigil ko yung suppository on my supposedy 3rd day? By the way i didnt experience itchiness, discharge lang and I usually bled after doing it with my hubby.

----yung discharge ko daw yun yung infection, so normal lang daw na lumabas yun while taking the med. then yung blood yun na daw yung period ko.
Kelangan ko din bang ipacheck si hubby ko? Baka kasi nahawa ko siya sa infection.
----no need since hindi naman daw STD yung infection ko.

I'll just need to continue the suppository after ng period as in pag tapos na tapos na. Then I'll be back to her again. By the way, I'm diagnosed as PCOS, bilateral (kaya ang hirap.)

Sis that is okay just continue and finish all the supp then kung itchy pa rin and you are not healed dun ka pa balik uli sa ob mo. Baka sabayan ka na niya ng oral medications...antifungal oral meds etc..

mga sis, ask ko lang normal ba talaga yung parang chalk na tinunaw dun sa undies ko? feeling ko kasi yun yung gamot eh na lumalabas? tapos yung ibang sis natin dito after two days nung paglalagay ng supp eh ala na yung hapdi bakit sa akin meron p din? tapos ngayun meron ako yellow discharge pa din tapos basa yung undies ko. parang nabasa ng tubig na ewan. tingin nyo di pa ako magaling?

Sis you are treated with supp for bacterial vaginosis ba or iba?
Cottage cheese na parang chalk discharge kasi is sign of candida infection.
Or kung on supp ka di lang tama pagkainsert ng supp. Just finish the supp sis then return to your ob after para ma assess ka niya uli.

moderate inflammation daw sabi ng OB ko. yung paglalagay ko naman kasi eh sa dulong dulo na talaga sya. yun nga lang parang lumalabas talaga yung gamot pag natunaw na.

Sis i think abstain muna from sexual contact for a few days lang naman yun. Para mas mabilis ang healing mo. After the supp regimen pag ok ka na you can continue naman na your usual sexual contact activities..
