My son also had that facial massage/therapy as advised by his pedia nung stage na ayaw niya mag chew.. but we also switched from pediasure to freshmilk.. lumakas food intake niya.. we always make sure that there's food in front of him na reachable para he can just grab and take a quick bite..

1 bottle palang ng mosegor napainom ko sa kanya. kaya ako nainip kasi sabi ng sister in law ko, super effective daw na halos on the 3rd day gaganahan na ang bata kumain.

Ako I discovered what worked was sinasabay ko ang Lactum nila when they eat :) Usually for the 3 important meals of the day - Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner :) And it works! I mean I think the milk helps kahit papaano and if every now and then, I allow them to have Lactum Choco :)

Pinatry ko sa son ko yung Clusivol, ayaw nya. Sumusuka talaga sya kaya hindi ko na pinilit. Cherifer and Pedzinc ang vitamins nya ngayon.

doctor ka or medrep? curious lang :) isn't it that lactum is heavy on the tummy? so how can it work as an appetite stimulantt?  ???

i think my baby has also a low apetite. he takes in breastmilk during the day and would only consume 12-14oz. hindi rin siya nag-gain ng weight last month. made me really concerned. though he is hitting his milestones naman, i feel like he doesn't get enough. pwede kaya siya magtake ng apetite stimulant? i remember we were given pediafortan-AS and indeed gumana kame kumaen nung bata kame. but then it's for children eh. pwede kaya yun sa infants?

^ask your pedia about this but normally i don't think pinapatake ng appetite stimulant ang baby unless really needed like if may sakit or so. as long as hes hitting his milestones and hindi naman underweight i dont think you should be really bothered by it naman :)

^thanks sis grayce. i jot it down na nga on my notes kasi ayoko malimutan tanungin si pedia about this. though yun nga, he hasn't had any bouts of sickness and super liksi din + reaching his milestones pa rin. yun lang kasi, he dropped to lower percentile of weight. kung length for weight, wala na, he is on the 2% percentile lang. but if weight per se, nasa range na lang siya ng 10th to 15th percentile. medyo mababa kaya i am quite worried. OC mom din kasi.

^hehe i understand. nakakapraning talaga minsan pag ganyan. d nga lang kumain anak ko i worry na agad. but do take note that iba ang weight/height chart pag breastfed baby ha. but IMO nothing to worry about if she's a healthy baby naman. minsan kasi nasa genes rin yan.

^oo nga eh. when i saw hubby's baby pic, ganun din ang built, payat din. eh ako din, hindi rin naman chubby nung baby. i was underweight from toddlerhood to now, but slight underweight lang naman. he's 7months and last last week, 7.3kgs lang siya but 72cm na siya. still purely bm ang intake nya. afterall, gusto lang naman talaga natin na parating healthy mga babies natin. siguro a part of me din kasi parang naeequate yung health sa physical attribute ng baby, like chubby = healthy but i know for a fact na hindi naman talaga ganun yun. :) ganito pala kapag nanay ka na hehe...

patience, a lot if it, is needed when we feed my 9 month old baby.  kaya nga i always tell the new yaya na don't rush her feeding kase she might choke or lose interest all together.

my baby is not underweight naman but she is i think nasa 25% lang.  doctor says it's okay but i want her to gain a bit more.  para more to hug he he.

^thanks sis grayce. yun nga lagi ko iniisip eh. hubby ko doesn't care much naman. ako lang daw praning much. hehe :)

sis eekai, ganyan din baby ko. good thing mama ko ang nag-aalaga sa kanya while i'm at work. siguro kung iba pa yun baka wala na masyadong patience.
