Low appetites

my babies are so underweight...at their age, dapat they consume 25oz na...they only take 17oz =(

If bottle-fed ang baby mo, use freshmilk as base for the infant milk instead of water. The cholesterol of a freshmilk will stimulate the babies appetite.

^me too kasi parang kahit anong gawin mo they still have their own pace pagdating sa pag-inom ng milk at pagkain ng solid food

9 months na rin baby ko pero hina magdede at kumain. My Pedia gave me Pediafortan (instructed me to give 2.5 ml lang) for toddlers kasi ito.

That was when she was 8 months. Feeling ko walang change sa pag intake ng solid food at pagdede ng baby ko. Effort talaga.

I hope pagdating ng visit namin this Saturday she gained weight kahit na konting konti lang.

I think my baby has low appetite. She is now 6 months but only drinks upto 30 fl oz a day. Payat parin kahit she also eats 1 bowl of baby cereal a day. She also takes multivitamins.

Advise naman on how to increase her appetite.

I breastfeed kasi so I really don't know a thing about the recommended amount of formula an infant should take... but I think this is a concern best discussed with your pedia... if he is concerned and would recommend some fortifying, go. If not naman and your child is hitting all other developmental milestones, accept that she isn't a chubby baby and work instead on developing healthy eating habits in her

yes it is better to as your pedia, pero kung yung growth nya is nasa normal range naman, so i think no need to panic. and since 6 months sya baka start na syang magteething kaya medyo low appetite sya?

She started teething at 4.5 mos. Pahirapan pa magfeed kapag gising siya. Mas gusto pa gumulong at maglaro. Pero ang pedia nya di naman worried, baka nga OA mommy lang ako. Gusto ko kasi maging chubby kahit konti.

Check her growth curve. As long as she is gaining weight, even if it's not too much, that's ok.  My daughter was only 1kg when she was born.  She's almost 2 years old and her maximum fluid intake since she was born is 35 fl oz. She's payatot til now but very active.  Her pedia also says that her cognitive skills are advanced for her age.

So, ok lang yan if she doesn't eat plenty. As long as she meets her developmental milestones, ok lang kahit payatot.

sis S26 din si baby ko dati. Nung nagsawa siya sa lasa, her pedia wanted her to switch to Gain Advance pero hindi rin type ni baby. So sabi ni pedia Enfapro A+ nalang. Akala ko ok na siya dun pero 1 month lang ayaw na naman. So ngayon naka NAN 2 kami. Sna tumagal naman. Sabi nga ng pedia baka maubos na ni baby sa pagtry yung lahat ng infant formula brands e.

helo. yung baby ko 9 months na siya. wala na gana kumain. nakaka worry kasi baka kulang na nutrients nakukuha niya, kahit exclusive breastfeed ko siya. dati nakaka tatlong 160 ml na lugaw with malunggay siya, ngayon tikim na lang talaga. isang subo, ayaw na.

sa pag ngingipin ba yun kaya ayaw niya kumain? may 2 ngipin na siya sa baba, tapos may isa sa taas, yung isa patubo pa lang kasi namamaga na yung gums.
