I'm in Santa Clara now sis, am staying at Biltmore hotel and suites. It's quite near lang kase the google offices where I'm having my training. From the airport may nadaanan kame na Babiesrus but it's quite far from here. Ok ba sa TJ Maxx?

You're in San Ramon? I go to Pleasanton / San Ramon once a week. We plan to relocate to either cities by end of the year.

We opened an office in San Francisco, along Stevenson St., but we have clients from San Ramon / Pleasanton area.

Just got back in at 330AM today from LAX .. since the plane wasn't fully loaded, no need to stop to refuel at Guam.. Imagine!  the tedious travel time got cut by 2.5 hours.

We have a condo at the South Beverly Tower on Elm St. corner Pico.  That was the best to-date for me, after SF, due to walking distance to Rodeo Dr., etc.  hehe and the convenient restos and shops on S. Beverly Dr.

Now, Sta. Monica is my favorite place.  It is most convenient coz at our place,  it is just a 10-15min walk to the 3rd St  Promenade.  Everything is just a block or 2 away.   It is, IMO, safer and the people are friendlier.   Of course, it bugs my husband that one cannot just smoke on any sidewalk... hehe   Plus, an orderly beach (everybody off the beach at 8PM!, imagine here our beaches are more fantastic and have no curfews;  plus... no liquor drinking on the  beach there.  ay party pooper haha)

The disadvantage --  Hermes, Chanel and the rest are in LA!   shucks.

Ladies who live in the Bay Area, may marerefer ba kayo na recruiter or agency? We are relocating kasi and wala kami masyadong kilala dyan. We're targeting contra costa by the way. I'm on a student visa and my husband's with me. We want to try to find a job for him there kung posible.

I'm from East Bay but we have an office in SF financial district so I go there quite often. I'm on vacation now though and be back to the U.S. mid-April. I'll let you know.

^^^^ Santa Monica beach is fine. I don't like it that much though-parang dumi ng tubig. IMO, Philippine beaches are cleaner. Ang ka-level ng Santa Monica for me is White Beach, Puerto Galera (and I'd much sooner bathe in the latter, mas malinis pa din). Also, water's too cold. Kahit summer, malamig.

I agree with the Promenade, though. Fave ko din siya though kulang nga sa shops. Good thing they opened the new mall na

^ typical tourist spots would be hollywood, san francisco, napa, sausalito, carmel, yosemite, big sur, lake tahoe, santa barbara/solvang, disneyland, etc. a lot of people also make a side trip to vegas and the grand canyon. mahal kapag mag-isa ka lang and you're joining a tour. probably nasa $300-500, depending on the number of days and places you'll visit. on the other hand, DIY is impossible if you don't drive.
