hello mga sis! pansin ko kasi walang California thread..meron New York, NZ, Singapore..etc..

sana maraming magpost...

I'm still in the Philippines, at sana, with God's grace and help, maka-join na sa hubby ko sa CA this October..we'll be in San Diego area..

Post naman kayong mga nasa CA na para at least me mga idea kami bout your life and jobs there..malls, sales, weather...anything under the sun..,TIA!

im from the bay area. pero im in pi right now, for a 3-month vacation. im from pinole, pero im moving to atlanta na sa december. i studied na rin sa bay area, pero laking pinas ako talaga.

hi cha-cha, i'm here in LA with my family....we live in the glendale/eagle rock area, in-between kase kami

i work in Long Beach, my hubby works in Pasadena...we both work in an arch'l firm...lucky to still have our jobs despite the recession which has hit our field badly....

my MIL lives in San Leandro, with BILs/SILs. Antay pa si hubby another year or 2 para sa petition nya eh. so ako matagal tagal pa din...

Madami daw outlet stores sa SanFo. Andun din yun Ghirardelli. love namin ni hubby.

Contra Costa Counrty. Where in super daming pinoy din. Pinole Valley is a nice place. I love San Francisco too kasi dun ako nag college pero my heart still belongs to Pinole Valley

^hi sis! Im actually gonna be in Oceanside.

Gusto ko sana malaman how's life like sa CA..i mean, syempre, iba pa rin yun nakukuwento ng hubby ko.Gusto ko yun iba naman kwento ng fellow GTalkers...like the climate, employment, neighborhood, food..etc...or mga different events around the area...who knows, we might want to relocate to other county based on these aspects..

hi sis! ok itong thread na naumpisahan mo ah. hayaan mo balitaan kita pagdating ko san diego. balita ko mainit ngayon doon. malapit na rin ang thanksgiving nila so expect a big sale sa mga stores pag nandun ka na ... sarap sana mag-shop kung me pang-shopping

hi sis! seryoso ka ba?? i'm actually from oceanside too.. super ganda ng climate dito.. hindi umminit ng sobrang init, hindi din lumalamig ng super lamig.. tamang tama lang. madami pinoy dito as in.. may jollibee and red ribbon na malapit na magbukas hopefully within the next month..maayos naman ang neighborhoods, wala naman akong nababalitaang nanakawan dito sa neighborhood namin.. knock on wood!! maganda dito sis. matahimik naman and matitino mga taong nami meet ko..

hi sis! yup, Oceanside area ng hubby ko..actually, I knew you from the previous thread,and I knew na from oceanside ka..i hope to meet you when we get there..whats your work if I may ask..excited ako yet so tensed, kasi di pa kami naiinterview..on sept11 pa..sabi nga ni hubby, maganda daw ang climate sa part na yan..my parents would also go with us, they'' be moving from New York..

Pasali. I'm in SF Bay Area also-- living and operating our biz in San Leandro. We always go to Castro Valley, downtown SFO, San Ramon, Pleasanton, and Berkeley.

I believe Autumn is here already but it still gets hot sometimes.

The main outlet of Ghirardelli is in San Leandro and it's super near our house. They have 60% sale all the time.

cha-cha: in our area, it gets really cold lang towards the end of december and that usually lasts until the first few weeks of march. it's different every year na eh. medyo mahirap na i-predict. last year, if i'm not mistaken, mainit pa ng october eh when it was supposed to be chilly na.

pasali din mga sisters, bago pa lang kami dito CA, sa may orange county naman kami...mainit nga ngayon dito, papawisan ka, parang pinas nga...'di nga kami nahirapan mag-adjust sa weather dito...friendly ang karamihan ng tao dito, kahit yung mga kapitbahay namin dito sa apt ay friendly din...accdg to my husband (1 yr na kasi sya sa US at galing na sya sa iba't ibang states), ang mahal ng cost of living dito compared sa ibang states na napuntahan nya tsaka mas busy daw dito (matao, maraming sasakyan)...pansin ko, medyo maalikabok nga sa lugar namin, 'di ko lang alam kung ganun din sa iba...

ask ko lang, saan-saan ba maganda mamili dito ng mga branded items bukod pa dun sa Ghirardelli? yung talagang malaki ang discount....thanks in advance
