I believe Autumn is here already but it still gets hot sometimes.

There really isn't a true Fall season in the Bay Area. September, October are the hottest months sometimes...the so-called indian summer months.

I have question about Medi-Cal? sino po me ganito sa inyo? My parents will be moving from New York to CA, joining me, and they are so much enjoying the benefits of Medicaid in New York..sa CA kaya ganun din?

I'm also worried kasi for sure they'd be having a lot of adjustments pagdating ng CA..kasi sa NY, malapit lang sa bahay nila ang mga stores as in walking distance lang..sa CA, although meron naman car si hubby, kaso baka mamiss nila maglakad lakad nearby tapos ala naman stores..

^ my aunt has medi-cal. madali naman. she doesn't pay for anything and my aunt pa has lung cancer. even gamot libre. but i think they have to be over 65 eh. si Papa ko, di pa makapag-apply eh. baby pa kasi. haha joke.

yeah mahirap nga sa kanila yung mag-adjust. pero ok naman, makakapaglakad pa naman sila haha. my dad and my aunt, sometimes they walk about 7 blocks to buy eggs. pakahirap para sa itlog. but they do that as part of their exercise. saan ba kayo? kahit naman kasi sa suburbs kayo, madami dami pa namang stores/shops. so di naman talaga ganun kasama.

regarding medicaide, pare-pareho lang siguro ng benefits sa lahat ng state...yun nga lang, mag apply ulit parents ko para maka-avail sila ng Medi-cal..ang mom ko will be turning 65 on Dec..pede na kaya sya dun. Eligible din daw ang mga low income residents

Hi sis, we used to lived in Oceanside, just infront of the beach near the Pier. It is so nice there. Marami ring stores in Oceanside. Saang area ba sa Oceanside kayo titira? Lapit din kayo sa Outlet sa Carlsbad. Sayang di na ko don nakatira. Kakamiss nga. We moved to Temecula because we want a bigger house na we can afford but I still work in San Diego.

Sabi ni hubby lapit daw sa Walmart at LOWE'S yun area. Mura lang ba bilihin sa Oceanside? How bout transportation?

Hi girls! i plan to move back there in cali. i'm a citizen but my whole family migrated back here when i was in highschool.

i have relatives there pero hindi kami close. we have this family feud going on and i dont think i have anyone to stay for awhile.

nanghihinayang lang kasi ako that i wont be able to experience working there. sayang naman din yun benefits ko since citizen.

what do you think girls? mas okay pa rin ba sa pinas? recession pa rin ba? how much do i need if i dont want to stay at any of my relatives place. what are my other options?

^ It's better if you stay with your relatives first because it's easier. If not you have to pay 700-1100 for a nice 1 bedroom apartment usually it is not furnished yet so you have to spend for furniture and stuff. If you don't have a car you have to get one, I think the cheapest you can get is probably $200+ monthly but you still have to pay for insurance and if you haven't had your license for 3 years or more, your insurance is going to be high. But if you can handle commuting then good for you.

Mas convenient sa Philippines pero ok din ang opportunity sa US. The problem is, the timing is not just right because recession is really terrible and CA unemployment rate is becoming higher compared to other states.

Car rental? I have no idea. I don't think you have to get insurance for that. You only get insurance for the car that you're going to buy.

Las Vegas is great, lots of things to do. But it gets really hot out there. Hotter than the Philippines.

my hubby has a car..but im concerned bout how my parents would go to work if ever di available si hubby maghatid or hindi pareho yun time nila ng work...unlike sa NY daw na every 15mins e me bus na dumaraan...how is it sa area ng Oceanside..

Great i'll be going to vegas next this january. im already saving up for at least 3 months rent. sana marami jobs/raket dun for me.
