my son who's 20 month old ayaw pa umupo sa bowl 
when i try na paupuin siya dun, with matching kanta kanta pa ako and story telling para kunyari maaliw, haha! ayaw pa din. yung binili naman namin ginagawa niyang car!

nakabili na kami ng potty chair kahapon (Thomas potty chair at mothercare).. this is the cheapest i saw.. hirap kasi baka laruin lang and hindi nya gamitin properly kaya ayaw ko ng mahal.. meron din kami nakitang liners sa mothercare.. sa bathroom ko pinalagay yung chair.. kanina daw nilalaro lang.. hindi pa naman sya nakaka poop today and hopefully masanay.. he's easily irritated pag meron poop sa diapers kaya sinasabi nya na meron daw poop.. not sure if this is one of the signs..

^ sign din yan pee. iritahin mo lang. haha. sabihin mo mag seatdown na sya sa potty chair pag feeling poo poo na pra di na dirty.

nakabili na kami. yung cheaper version ng mothercare. so far better sya kesa sa una, pero medyo di pala kasya pwet at pata ni H. pero okay lang. in time na di na talaga sya kasya, sa toilet na talaga sya.

my daughter's 25-months old. we got her a potty with a bunny head where she can hold on to while she pees - which she chose when we went to the store - pero sadly, naging toy na lang din yun potty. i really should've listened to the others here who recommended the potty seat that you put on top of the toilet para sakto for the kids coz that's where she wants to pee din talaga. nowadays, she'd go to the potty everytime i'd go. minsan there's wee-wee talaga,  minsan wala - practice lang.

^ Based on my experience, kailangan ready na ang bata.  Kapag pilitan, maaring ma-achieve mo pero pareho kayong mahihirapan.

Sa case ng kids ko, noong napansin ko na dry na ang overnight diapers nila paggising sa umaga, gradually di ko na pinasuot ang nappies sa gabi.  Noong una, twice a week naka-briefs lang hanggang every night na.   Tapos, noong nagka-accidents, I'd always tell them to wake me up kapag kailangan nila mag-pee sa gabi.  So far, okay naman.

^ excited na akong makarating kami sa stage na yan. so far, my kid can pee on his own during the day. pati afternoon naps, walang accident. ang problem ko is poop. di sya nagpupoop kapag walang diaper e. pero ayaw nya naman isuot yung diaper nya kapag tinatanong ko kung gusto nya magdiaper. although nakapag-poop na sya sa potty seat nya, kung minsan hindi sya umaabot e.

i find potty training very challenging.. poopoo stage pa lang son ko ngayon.. hindi pa nya kaya magsabi pag nawiwiwi sya.. we just recently bough the Potty Toilet Seat.. he prefers this than the potty chair..

my daughter also prefers the potty seat instead of the potty chair. siguro coz they see the grown-ups use them kaya gusto nila ganun din.

^and i also find it easier to use kasi masakit sa likod pag sa potty chair.. super bend ako.. and hindi ko makuha trick pano wash bumbum nila..

I think you have to explain to them what you want to happen. the effects pag naihi sila sa bed and the benefits for them and you kung walang basa moments sa gabe. although i don't want my daughter to wake up late at night pra lang mag weewee but eventually she has to learn.

when my daughter was still sleeping on her cot, she manages not to pee on her diapers anymore. anlaking tipid kasi halos 0% usage na kami ng diapers for months until we decided to let her sleep with us, naku nag wee wee na. e ang hirap since naka comforter doon plus the beddings/foam, hassle mabasa so balik diaper sya sa gabe until now.

next year na kami magseryoso talaga sa aspect na to.

potty training is important talaga especially when the child is starting pre school. my daughter will be on a daily class next year at wala ng mommy and daddy na kasama sa classroom. the first thing the school admin asked me during meeting was if the kid is already potty trained. naisip ko pano naman kung na poopoo anak ko sino mag huhugas? she can say and run to her chair pag nag poop pero hugas kami pa din. baka pagalitan ng mga chekwang guro pag huhugasan na. nakuuuuu!

sis, how old na ba toddler mo?  6 yrs old--hinde na ito toddler ha- still wets their bed sometimes.  it can wait. 

in the meantime, let him pee na lang muna before he goes to bed. 

i know a three year ols na hinde na potty train ng nanay kasi nagkusa hehe

I personally believe every child takes his own time. You cant force a child into toilet training according to your own comfort. So go with the flow, one sweet day your child WILL get potty trained

i'm thinking of potty training mg baby..she's 19 mos old now, hubby said wag daw muna at too early pa but my baby can say " wee wee and then sits down and also says "poo poo".. she's sees me kasi when we take a bath doing wee wee hehe so ayun she's imitating it.. one time, she said wee wee and wants me to remove her diaper, i brought her to the toilet but she didn't do anything she just smiled at me jokingly - pilya kid hehe..

you think she's ready na? i can't train her sa umaga since i'm working di ko talaga mababantayan,, im thinking baka pede namin i try during Christmas vacation... what do you think?

^ yes sis. maybe you can start na but just don't push it kung mag ayaw. enjoy your time together learning

Mga sis, need your expertise and advice na rin. Kasi my daughter is 3 years old na ... ok, whenever she pee's she goes to the CR and tell me that "Mama, wiwi ako" ... no problem kaso pag-poopoo na ay naku mega magpapa-diaper pa yan. Gusto ko sana ma-learn na rin niya na wiwi and poopoo are pede gawin sa CR nalang without any diapers pa. Dun lang talaga kami ni hubby nahihirapan pag poopoo na siya kasi talagang nagpapa-diaper si baby at ayaw sa CR ... miski pa sama ko or ni hubby ... ay talagang ayaw niya.

Ano po kaya dapat namin gawin? Btw, meron na rin siya potty trainer and potty seat kaso she uses them lang twing wiwi lang siya and not pag poopoo siya... hays ....
