DV, when i was training her, i just let her wear her panties. pag diaper kasi, although she can remove them tinatamad sya and will still pee on it

jaiaquino, tyagaan lang talaga sis, plus the readiness of the child i guess. yung youngest sister ko kasi medyo matagal din bago sumunod. may sariling gobyerno daw according to my mom 

bibits, yes, super sarap ng feeling! i was so proud of her, muntik ko ng  ipost sa wall ko sa fb, but since most of my friends are single, i know they wouldn't get it. pero for us moms achievement na yun! LOL

ang sarap talaga ng feeling pag na toilet train na kasi nga bata talagang tiyagaan lang mga sis ako naman pag dito si hubby pinasasabay ko pag wala ako ang kasabay  pero sya sa pinto lang ng cr pag wewe kasi ayaw namin ni hubby sa loob minsan kasi basa baka madulas pa si baby sa potty pagpopo kasi ayaw nman niya mag wewe sa potty.

this is a relief..akala ko super late na baby ko kasi 17 months na sya, hindi pa namin nattrain..nappressure na nga ako kasi yung pamangkin friend ko, 1 year old di na daw nagdi-diaper..buti nabasa ko yung signs..mukhang wala pa palang signs si baby na he's ready..so wag pilitin.

My son is 3, he was just fully potty trained recently, and I am very proud of it. My trick is during the training period is to reward him, minsan a piece of gummy bear candy lang ok na. Also, parents and/or the caregivers should be very patient, and be consistent with rules.

Besides, we constantly remind him that he is no longer a baby, that he is already a big boy, and that big boys do not wear diaper, and that big boys can play basketball, soccer, climb trees, etc. Effective naman. I also bought him colorful character underwear para magkaron sya ng interest and para hindi na nya magustuhan mag diaper.

ay eto pa pala, everytime magwiwi cya, we put sticker on her potty. Kung wiwi at popo naman 2 stickers hehhe..i think kaya din cya na eexcite pag nag popotty:)

miss-chievous, 2nd one ang binili ko...sa cover ko pinalalagay ang stickers.
For me, potty seat is worth it..kasi yung anak ko natatakot umupo toilet kasi feeling nya mahuhulog cya. Since may potty cya, i don't need to go with her na pag magbabanyo cya..andun na lahat kailangan nya sa potty seat eh..i alam na rin nya mag use ng tissue at magtapon ng wiwi nya sa toilet.
Kailangan lang talaga pasensya..hindi madaling magtrain ng bata. We failed twice also, but the last time, kailangan eh kasi required sa daycare..so i have no choice and besides, she's 3 na..and also, diaper is expensive! hehhe

My daughter will turn 1 year and 6 mos tomorow but i started to potty train her only dis week. Bought her a potty chair months ago but ayaw nya eh good thing ngayon ok na sa kanya. She does not know how to say wee wee or poop but i always tell her to tell mommy or ate (her yaya) if she wants to wewess.. it is wewess coz everytime we put her on her potty chair we will make the wish2 sound. hehe.. for this week wala ng diaper pag day time at so far she missed 2x lang. what we ususally do is every 2 hours pinapaupo talaga sa potty chair nya. pero sa poop dun pa kami di pa masyadong successful kasi she doesnt know how to tell us eh. malalaman na lang namin na naka no. 2 na sya coz she will shout ewwww! yuck! hehe... then we will tell her it is really ewww so next time u tell mom if u wanna popoo. Pero sa gabi diaper pa rin sya. Nakaka pressure rin ang potty training coz my sis's daughter wala pang 2 years old hindi na nagdiaper even at nights. well good for her kasi nasa bahay lang sya. mahirap talaga pag working mom ka eh. minsan di sinusunod ng yaya ang mga bilin mo.

the most important thing about potty training is to not start it/do it before a child is ready... and at a time when the family is also not ready...

so starting say, when the child is also starting play school or if you're having another child might just make it more stressful or prolong it...

that's why I haven't really made much progress with it... I just weaned my son last feb and felt that potty training him soon after that would be stressful for him (aalisan ko sya ng 2 comforts eh)... but then I got preggy naman and I know he'd just regress once the baby is there... so though we've made progress sa pee, I don't push the poop issue yet

we're making a bit of progress na with our potty training. i guess ready na talaga my daughter now coz she really doesn't like wearing nappies na. itchy daw her peepee when we put a nappy on her.

kakatuwa sya yesterday coz in the middle of playing, she suddenly ran to the bathroom and said wee-wee. but since somebody was in the bathroom, she squatted in front of the door and peed there. di na nya na-hold. and then she said sorry. it really tells us that she knows na talaga what to do and she's really trying her best.

We chose a really basic one, which we can really wash and all (some kasi make sounds and whistles pa diba, with blinking lights pa). Unfortunately, my son doesn't like using it and prefers peeing on our toilet bowl.

^^haps yung sa min FP royal seat, yung may sound...i got it on clearance and it was cheaper dun sa without sounds. at first i was hesistant kasi baka magulat/matakot sa sound si nix but ok naman. its helpful kasi alam ko if nag poop/weewee na sya kasi may sound:) and its sturdy, with handles sa side. natutuwa sya pag may sound kasi nagcheer-cheer ako when she goes to the potty and it makes sounds.

Abby, mahal yata girl? im thinking of buying bjorn or yung from mothercare na seat pero parang mahal pa din.  walang music yun, just very plain.

^It might be helpful if you can take your daughter with you to go potty-chair shopping so she can choose for herself which one she likes and would be willing to use.

medyo silly question lang sana.. pano nyo nililinis yung potty chair? pumunta kasi ako sa toysrus 2 days ago and sa mothercare.. walang liners yung chair para tatapon na lang after nila gamitin.. or manual cleaning ba? sorry kasi wala ako masearch sa internet..

She picked this out herself out of the 3 choices I gave her.  I like it too because there's less contact with the poop when you clean it; you just put a liner and throw it away after use.  The liners are sold separately but I didn't buy those, I just use the biodegradable bags that come with her diapers (Safeties).  It's also small, since it's a travel potty, we can bring it along when we take long trips.

I put a small rug under the travel potty just in case may miss (like pag hindi umabot) for easier clean-up.

The first one I bought her is a Mothercare Comfy Trainer for putting on top of the toilet bowl:

I let her sit on the bowl when I wash her.

I wash both potties with soap and water after each use, then spray with Potty Spray before letting them dry.

ay, namamahalan ako. actually i waited na magsale bago ako bumili ng potty  and i got it 27aud...yun na pinakamura na nakita ko na ok, limited din lang kasi choices dito. pero for me sulit kasi super tipid sa diapers na:) before buying the potty we got yung parang potty seat na pinapatong sa toilet. we got the cheapest kasi itry lang...ayun ayaw ni nix, mahuhulog daw sya. she prefers nga to sit mismo sa toilet  pag naisipan nyang pumunta sa "big potty"

sis, manual cleaning. before naisip ko din pano ko clean, so the first day i used plastic  pero kasi parang maaksaya sa plastic. so what i do now, after flushing wee/poop sa toilet i wash with soap and water. i use yung brush, yung pang dishwashing, tapos i just use liquid handsoap para convenient, pump mo lang, brush, rinse, clean na ulit:)
