worth it po ba yun rate namin which is 9915 for 3 pax going to kk?  nagsale kase ang tiger airways. di ko pa sya nabayaran pero i have 24 hours to settle payment. just wanna know if mababa na sya? and if it's truly worth it to go to KK?

going to KK tomorrow together with my girl friends. no iti yet, bahala na lang hehe i just noted some of the spots I read from here and from tripadvisor. we'll inquire at our hotel na lang for the tours.

^just checked air asia's site...for the 3 of us, total would be 12k. sana mag seat sale na sila. frequent ba magsale ang air asia.  siguro i'll wait muna for promos. sana lang ang travel period would be this summer so i can be with my kids.

madalas mag sale airasia pero yung mura nila, as in almost one year pa bago travel time. like nung sa kin. aug 2010 ko binili, june 2011 travel time pero mura talaga. 2k+ lang for 3 px RT ng clark to kota.

mine also was booked last promo nila during their 10th year anniversary, May 2011 yun and flight ko is May this year..

right sis dapat mga one year ahead. I also got our tix sa seat sale last may 2011, departing may 2012. i think ang rt clark-kk namin is just 2000 for 3 pax

Hi. We stayed at Ming Garden. It's along the highway, not in the city proper, pero mejo malapit lang naman sya. Taxi fare from hotel to town proper is rm12. Can't remember the price, basta it's $100+/night, booked at agoda.

Super init when we were there last weekend. Grabe sakit sa skin ang tindi ng araw

btw, i have tried contacting lavender lodge but did not get a reply, any other recommendations similar to LL?

if you're not picky try city park lodge, diyan kami nagstay. lakad lang kami sa lahat, except monsopiad and city tour, nagtaxi kami dito.

I've been planning to visit Kota Kinabalu. But is it really good place? Sayang kasi ang seat sales.

will be going to KK this may 17 and staying there til the 22nd. kinuha ko na rin yun 9915 na plane fare for 3 persons. i'll be traveling with my two kids and staying at grand borneo hotel...is the hitel any good? malayo po ba sya sa city? if malayo, how much taxi to the city? and same questions as the ones posted here previously...san maganda kumain sa island and sa city proper...

Excited na kame.  First time to travel with my son. Usually kase si little girl ko lang lagi kasama ko out of the country.

sis michi reserved city park lodge na for our trip bait ng rep nila. indeed the place is very near everything, and they did not ask for deposit or ccard info thanks for recommending this inn!

^no problem, wala din ko deposit and hindi rin ko nagbayad pagdating. pag-alis na lang nila ko siningil.

^true sis, i've read many many websites of lodges and inns and maraming mas mura pero common t/b. buti na lang na-reco ni sis dito yung city park

may binigay din pala sa min na discount voucher sa city park lodge. so nakaless kami sa island hopping namin ng konti.  nabasa ko na yun sa isang blog then akala ko nung pagpunta namin wala na kasi hindi kami binigyan nung nagcheck-in. the ff. day nagtanung ko sa receptionist kung paano pumunta sa jesselton then yun binigyan niya ko ng discount voucher, so hinanap ko na lang yung booth para maavail namin yung discount. 

simple lang talaga yung city park lodge, as in kung ano yung nasa picture ng site nila. pero walking distance nga sa lahat so tipid sa taxi.
