can we contact the hotel directly if we want a daytour in rasa ria or shangri-la tanjung aru?

i was thinking we just get cheaper hotels near the beach nalang...

^we're going there on may and according to research similar ang climate dito satin... yun nga lang di na kasi maasahan ang climate ngayon. we'll go there as a jump-off point to our kl-sg trip, zero-fare kasi when we got our tickets, pero other tourists go there for island hopping, mountain climbing to mt. kinabalu, to see kinabalu park (unesco world heritage site, i want this but unsure pa) and to shop kasi may mga branded daw dyan na mas mura kesa sa atin or sa kl/sg. if you have lots of time you can also make a side trip to brunei which is just a ferry away. im yet to find out if it's really worth the trip

will be in KK on May 9 and until i still dont have an iti even a draft iti.. hehe! my second time there and will just accompany a friend.

question sisses, how much will be the taxi or private car's rate if we'll hire them for the city tour and for the areas near the Mt. Kinabalu, Poring Hotspring, Canopy Walk, etc? do u have a contact? pahingi naman po.

@ sis vainwriter - we bought in czarina in their ayala one office last Friday and their selling rate that time was 14.50

sa may 17 na alis namin going to kk and we decided to stay na lang sa best western kinabalu daya.  grand borneo is a bit far from the city center. although may shuttle naman from GB to the city, mahirap pa rin. Best western has a nice location. sa likod lang ng hotel ang Gaya Sunday market and it's near most malls.  there's also a good resto serving bak kuh teh just a block away from the hotel. 

btw, i chanced upon this website and the writer is from kk and he made a list of the best KK food.  malaking tulong din yun during my research for this trip...here's the link:
