hi sisses! reporting live from KK.maulan dito pag gabi, around 7 PM start ulan. both been to shang's TA & RR, 4 me much better ang RR. mas malaki nd madaming activities.

^may 8-9 sis then we flew to kl on may 9. baka ikaw yung sinasabi nung filipina receptionist na filipina sa kabilang kwarto, we were in 203 if i remember correctly

^ahaha! yes sis! i was there from 9 to 11 then flew to KL naman nung 12th.. hehe! sayang, di tayo nagkakilala dun kc dami ko rin nakilala din na mga pinoy..202 naman ako sis.. hehe!

hi do you have other contacts for rent-a-car (with driver)? we got a quote for RM350/day (but max is 8 hours) for a group of 4. is this an okay rate already?

last, how much kaya ang dalhin ko na pocketmoney? for 4d, 3n?

hi sis kota is fairly cheaper than kl but your budget depends on your activities. food range from rm3 to rm10 per meal. accommodations are rm70 to rm400. prepare at least rm100 per head when visiting the islands. we spent two days there and just spent about rm300 pero thats basically food, accom., walking city tour and pasalubong.

^way back 2010, we're group of 6 and hired a van going to Mt. Kinabalu, Poring Hot Spring, Canopy Walk, and some city tour, thats also for a whole day trip and we were charged RM 50 each.

been to KK last May but didnt go to city tour, i just went for the island hopping and just walk around the city.

regarding the pocket money, it depends on your activities, accommodation, and on your food preference. it cost me 15k for my KK-KL 5 days 4 nights trip last month.

i havent been to the park coz we have a 4y/o kid in tow when we went, pero i read that it requires some kind of trekking din... but i would assume, like any other treks, there are rest stops. it will depend on how pregnant she is now and kung malakas endurance

Oo nga pala please note globe roaming does not work in kk. no roaming the whole time i was there. not sure about smart pero may mga smart at local sim for sale sa cell shops.

^im not sure why sis... as in the SG thread sabi ni sis rocky baka sa unit din. Dalawa kami ni hubby nag roaming, both globe, I have samsung he has nokia, and parehong walang roaming in kk. buti na lang madaming wifi spots. pagtransfer namin sa kl ok na roaming namin, and in sg too. pagbalik namin ng kk to end our trip wala na naman roaming so wifi na lang ulet

^sabagay, yung sa kasama ko rin di na-activate ang roaming though sabay kaming nag-roaming and even when we arrived in KL from KK, di pa rin talaga na-activate roaming nya. btw, we're both user of globe prepaid.
