just remember girls ha, at least one of you (either you or your fiance) must be a Christian to have a Christian ceremony. Or else null and void yan wedding. It is a pre requisite of a valid marriage to have at least ONE of the couple to be of the same sect/ religious belief as the officiating minister.

Feeling ko mahihirapan yung mga magpapaayos pa and all : ))) yung mga magpapa parlor. pero if may in house make up artist ka or kanya kanya ng make up yung entou okay lang naman siguro. kaso ayun nga.. ang hirap gumising. I have a friend na yung bride nila mismo nahirapan sila gisingin )) pero ako din gusto ko sana ng ganyan time kaso medyo knowing my friends (and myself) baka hindi kami magising : )))) tapos usually kasi diba 3 hours before, mag sstart na ng preps..

sis, you can get a pastor to perform a "Christian" wedding ceremony w/o changing religions.

for born-again/evangelical Christians kasi, the reason for "changing religions" kasi is not just because one wants to have a "Christian" ceremony, rather it is a personal faith decision of a person, independent of others' decisions.

many Catholics hold "Christian" ceremonies because they also want to hold a wedding ceremony outside the church building, pero it doesn't mean na nag-convert sila. yun lang, hope this clarifies. God bless sa preparations!

anyway, mga sis!!!!!!!!! this may sound a bit crazy, haha. pero actually ang dream wedding ko kasi talaga is a sunrise wedding in Tagaytay. yung tipong ang wedding ceremony ay from 5:00am to 6:30am, then reception is 7:00am to 9:00am. crazy, i know. ang problema lang, baka ma-late halos lahat ng guests namin! haha! at baka maraming mag-react negatively sa sobrang aga! baka ang dumating lang ng maaga eh tatlo: groom, bride, officiating pastor. HAHAHA!

has anybody tried holding a wedding ceremony na ganito kaaga? tee hee!

Paano ba inaabot yun? Hindi ko kase alam talaga kung paano mag-abot ng cash sa mga ganyan e.. Sa 22 na wedding ko, kaya todo hanap ako ng way kung papano magaabot ng cash sa pastor who will officiate the wedding.. Hindi ba sila ma-offend nun? Especially yung wala talagang bayad ang service..

At least when you book a Catholic church, the priest's compensation is already included. But for Christian weddings either the pastor's service is free or there's no fixed fee, which means that it's really up to the couple. And unfortunately some couples simply forget to share their blessings with their pastor. Which is a shame considering they don't mind shelling out for various wedding minutiae.

I have friends who are pastors, and just my opinion, I think they'd prefer a cash love gift over a token. I'm sure they'll be grateful with whatever you give them, but if we ourselves prefer cash gifts, they're the same too -- humans with the same everyday financial needs. So even if our pastors aren't expecting anything, it's still nice to show them we appreciate the important part they played on our wedding day.

You can try Hillcreek Gardens in Tagaytay, actually Amadeo part na siya they both have a Garden and Indoor Pavilion. Le Jardin Rosella is another option they have a venue with a built in tent that can accommodate if I'm not mistaken 250 guests.

My h2b are from different secs, kung ang magkakasal sa amin ay isang pastor pero kung hindi kami affiliated pareho or member, legal pa rin po ba yung kasal namin?

Iniisip ko kasi yung nangyari kay James Yap & Kris Aquino, null and void yung kasal nila kasi hindi sila member nung group nung minister na nagkasal sa kanila. Ganun din po ba yun?
