Close ba kayo ng Officemates nyo?

so far, yup 1 month palang ako in my work and everyone's been so nice and accomodating naman. thank god.

well, I managed to joke with them almost everyday pag may oras pa (dami kasi trabaho sa office), talk about personal stuff from time to time pero I don't consider them as real friends or kaclose talaga. medyo iba upbringing and values ko sa kanila and I don't trust them that much (for a few reasons and incidents I experienced). marunong lang siguro ako makisama to the point na sumasama ako sa mga gimiks with them but I don't intend to work with them for a long time (their personal and work ethic aren't that great). I had a former officemate from previous work na naging friend ko talaga and we still communicate kahit she's abroad na. I miss her terribly.

How is your relationship with your colleagues? Do you treat them as your friend, barkada or is your relationship purely professional?

Im lucky to be in an environment na parang kabarkada ko na officemates ko. We go out every week! We work hard (meaning office hours wala talagang pansinan, focus sa work except pag break) but we party HARDER! haha.

It really helps coz masaya ang nagiging magaan ang work.

I love the environment I have as well here in the office, kaya siguro ako tumagal.  Parang din kami magkakabarkada.

Dedmahin nyo nalang sila, inggit lang siguro sila sainyo or something. Ganyan naman most Pinoys eh, crab mentality diba. 

true sis! as in utak-talangka talaga..  i can't figure out kung ano ang kina-iinggitan nila, if ever. eh halos hindi na nga ako nagsasalita sa office.. hehe.. to think na naturingan mga "professionals" ah.. sayang nga kasi these people (ofcmates ko) are technically adept.. huwag na lang silipin ang work ethics at work attitude dahil dun sila kamote.. hehe..

very! ito yung one of the reason kaya ako nagtagal. kahit stressful lalo pag may projects. walang office politics, walang crab mentality. sobrang bihira ang away-away. nakakahiya pa magkaron ng kaaway.

I have 3 close friends in the office. Two of them are my batch mates and the other is my counterpart.  Being close to them means I can talk to them with personal matters and I can trust them.  The others, nakikisama din ako when they invite me for summer outing and birthday treats.

close in a sense na lahat kami nagkakabiruan, nagkakaasaran at nagkakakwentuhan pero personal matters hindi namin pinaguusapan

Not at all, I treat them as colleagues and that's it. Siguro kasi lahat kami magkakaibang lahi. And I am particularly irritated by our secretary/ receptionist. Paano ba naman... our working hours is 730-230 na nga lang, madalas almost 8 na pumapasok. Matindi pa dun minsan yung boss namin na uuna pa sa kanya. And if the boss leaves the office before 230, asahan mo na 5 mins before kasunod na siya.

She's Jordanian/Palestinian by the way (not discriminating, just stating). What irked me the most is one time I was waiting for a fax from my supplier. I saw her from my office reading a fax, so walang advice na may fax ako. Ok... pakiramdaman. I went to the toilet and as I was going back to my room, I passed by her table, nandun kasi yung Fax out tray. I looked at the paper and saw it was in my name. So kinuha ko. Aba sabi sa akin bakit ko daw kinuha, sabi ko nasa pangalan ko kaya. Kesyo office daw nya yun at pinapasok ko (take note her office is the reception desk). Sabi ko simple lang, the fax is under my name and you didnt even bother to inform me. Madami pa siyang tinalak-talak, tinalikuran ko na. No use makipagusap.

Hirap ng walang pinoy na kasama sa office. Kaya mga sis pasensya na at dito ako naglalabas ng sama ng loob. Its irritating lang kasi, one time she had this severe cramping feeling near her neck and shoulders, sobrang sakit daw di na siya makahinga and it was the 2 of us only in the office. I had to call my husband to drive us over to the hospital. Di naman ako naghahanap ng kapalit, pero sana naman a better treatment. So ngayon, in anything deadma na talaga. I find no reason na kausapin pa siya (para di na rin magka-wrinkles ).

Siguro mataas expectation ko, looking at how we filipinos normally work. Kahit na sabihin natin sometimes we take longer lunches than we should. Pagwork naman, work talaga.

I miss my officemates from my last co in the Phils. Kahit na we are all out of that company we still stay in touch and pag naguusap kami its like we still work in the same co.

super ka-close ko yung officemates ko dati sa makati. as in parang magkakapatid na kami. we even went out of the country together.

kaya lang nawala yung makati site namin & na-assign kami sa iba-ibang sites kaya di ko na sila nakakasama masyado. we still talk a lot though & lumalabas pa rin kami nang madalas.

nakaka-miss yung bonding namin kasi iba yung "culture" dito sa site na nalipatan ko. as in di nagpapansinan mga tao. 1 month na yata ako dito nung may unang kumausap sakin. kaloka!

Dati OO as in, kumare ko pa nga yung isa eh.  But dumating din yung time na masyado na syang over acting kasi super sipsip sa boss na to the point na nanglalaglag na sya even ako na kumare nya.  Eversince I knew about it I set barrier between my officemates much more with her.  As I proved that kanya kanya lang pala silang palapad ng papel sa boss namin.

hindi naman super pero very harmonius naman ang relationship ko sa kanila...

we share personal matters naman kaya tingin ko close na rin!

close as in pareho kasi kaming matatakaw. wala yata kaming ginawa sa office kundi kumain! hehe

tsaka masayahin kasi kaming lahat sa team. i love working with them.

dont get me wrong, i have great colleagues pero hindi ako comfortable na maging close sa kanilang lahat.

sa almost lahat ng mga naging officemate ko naging close ako, dun sa mga kagroup ko talaga or kadepartment. pero normally, group of 4 lang, hindi talagang lahat

i've been with my present company for almost 4 yrs already.  We are all in good terms but there's some that i consider as close friends. 

We really need to choose who to trust, it applies anywhere naman, even outside work place...

i have a small team and ako ang manager, i could say we're close. i ensure harmonious relationship but with authority pa rin.
