ang swerte nyo if yes. dito puro chismisan at siraan. meron pa ngang case na nagdala pa ng deadly weapon yung isa kong teammate. scared to death ako. 1 month din inabot yung hearing bago siya naterminate.

nung hearing ko narealized na mapipili mo yung job and salary but not the officemates. lungkot.

am in a foreign country, at feeling OP.  I guess hindi nila gusto ugali ko, kakaiba nga siguro.    Pero tahimik lang naman ako madalas.  Kaso ramdam ko inggit nila na bakit ako ni hire at hindi local.  Tsaka bakit sakin nagre report ang mga local.  Tapos, pag na promote, kita mo simangot ng mga tao. 

Hayz. Parang sila lumalayo. Dunno why. Wala naman akong ginagawang masama. Or maybe clueless lang ako. Pero sometimes, sa dami nang kelangan tapusin na work, pasalamat nalang ako na super busy ako. Otherwise baka ma depress lang ako kakaisip ano ba nagawa ko at ayaw nila sakin.

This is one I missed most about working in Phils. The way you could connect in a personal level to your colleagues and would end up best of friends ika nga. I used to be very close with my co-workers so we ended up being a ninong/ninang ng mga anakis namin. Even now that we are scattered around the globe, we still do keep in touch.

Unlike here in US, where work and personal are entirely separate. We do share stuffs about our kids/ partners, joke around. But there is no-after office bonding. The connection breaks as soon as we leave our four-walled world.

in my previous work, yes very very close like sisters.
in my present work, we're friends but the friendship remains in the four corners of the office. sad to say, nothing more than that.

i'm close to my officemates who are of the same level as i am. but to those under me, no.  i want to keep it that way because i have a hard time separating personal issues from work if i know what's going on with their lives and they don't report to work. so i'd rather keep it professional.

i'm pretty much close to all of them. when i was just a newbie, it took a while before i warmed up to them. pero they're all nice and eventually, nawala din hiya ko.

sa previous work ko, oo close kami, 7yrs ba naman kami magkakasama. Now, lumipat na ko ng bagong work last June lang and nung una ok kami ng mga staff ko until recently, I found out na ayaw nila sakin kasi I have referred a few people already from my previous work. Though hindi naman ako ang naginterview sa kanila, what I did was merely to refer them to HR pero siguro sa tingin nila, dahil may posisyon ako dito e napapasok ko kung sino lang gusto ko. Ang ending din tuloy, ina-isolate nila yung mga staff na ni-refer ko. Pasaway sobra yung mga pioneer batch, siguro threatened din sila pag na-outnumber sila...

sa bagong company ko... yup close din medyo mas younger sila pero ok naman saka mababait sila at we help each other out.

yes... close kami dito sa office. kahit dun sa previous employers ko, i guess im lucky dahil nakasundo ko silang lahat at naging close kami! we still communicate & sometimes, may get togethers pa.

close with a few..may isang impaktang babaita kasing gusto akong i-leave out for an unknown reason.. now i think she's rallying other colleagues to take sides.. such an ass*ole! since im not as friendly to other people as her, i can't correct every detrimental ideas she's put in other people's head..i stay quiet about her issues against me..but those few who support me, saw how it all began.. im hoping that someday, the truth will surface.. that she's a manipulative b*tch who's playing the victim.
