I ahve a problem with my laptop. the battery icon is no longer showing in the system tray. I didn't do anything. I didn't even hide it or something. Basta bigla nalang hindi na sya nag aappear sa system tray even if ayusin ko pa sya.... Ano kaya problema?

^have you tried restarting it? i, too experience the same thing sometimes..minsan nga yung volume, or yung internet icon pa nawawala. i also don't know what's causing it. kaya nirerestart ko nalang..and it shows up naman ulit.

^ Naku, I always turn off or restart my laptop. It never shows up. Naka greyed-out pa nga yun option nya if kailangan ko sya i-tick....

I use cleaning gel on my screen. Yung cooling pad super helpful ba talaga? My technique is removing the battery when fully charged, i plug the laptop. Napapansin ko hindi kasing init pag naka attach yung battery. Guni-guni ko lang ba yun?

how exactly do we FULLY DISCHARGE a battery... sensha na,  i dont quite know how to kasi.

if up to zero% battery,  that means i would have to wait for the battery to empty while i am using it so that the unit will shut down by itself?  will it?  hindi ba bigla na lang mamamatay kaya?

so if the battery is brand new,  i charge it compelety to 100... thats the easy part.

then... gagamitin diba... down to 0% until it shuts down,  ganun po ba ang meaning ng fully discharge?

sis browbeater, I didn't bought a cooling pad. hindi kasi strategic 'yung mga kinalalagyan nung fans e... what I did was I bought a mini-fan-- nabibili sya sa CD-r King tapos tinatapat ko kung saan me vents 'yung laptop... OK naman sya kasi nawawala or if I may say, nababawasan 'yung init nya

tapos bumili ako ng mga rubber stopper para maiangat ko yung laptop at a 15 degrees angle para mas nahahanginan pa lalo... 'yun e kung nasa haus lang naman ako

Mine is Asus A8fm. Any idea kung mga how much papalitan ang trackpad?

^Sis, I also have an Asus U81A.  Is it ok to remove the battery while using the laptop and just plug it in the wall socket?  Do you do that?

^If I may answer your query sis, I remove the battery  pag naka-plug yung power supply. I read somewhere na it helps prolong battery life.
