Hi Mommies!

My 20 months old daughter had her first OT evaluation in Skill Builders in Leon Guinto. Medyo crowded yung lugar. It was mostly interview.  2nd schedule of evaluation is on Thursday with teacher Eve. For her PT, we are scheduled on Tuesday in Able Center in Makati. I already visited the place and the center looks impressive, it looks new. We were informed na mahaba ang pila sa SPeech Therapy (just in case my daughter will need it). I hope ok yung therapist in the centers. I'm getting paranoid and depressed since I don't have any idea if the 2 centers are ok.

Mommies, I hope you can give me feedbacks on a Skill Builders and Able center.  I need some assurance na ok yung treatment bec. my daughter needs an early intervention. Initial findings of Dev. Doctor is developmentally at risk, but I'm already seeing signs that's making me paranoid.  Help me please....Thanks.

Hi there, haven't been very active here at GT for quite a while. My son is with Teacher Jana Chavez. She is outstanding! very caring and really, really good. You might need to check if she still has slots though, she's there only during Fridays and Saturdays.

Hi sis, Tr. Ryan (the owner) is one of the best OTs in the South...yeah, their office is small but the OTs are great with kids. My son used to have OT and ABA with them (at the same time ST and regular school), but have been advised to stop after a year or so. Until now, I keep in touch with them as they have been very helpful to us.

mommies, any good recommendations for both OT and ST near Manila, Q. Ave, Trinoma? My son is 3.9 and according to his Dev't Pedia he needs therapy for both. Hanap ko sana yung isang place na lang para wala ng hassle.. please help..thanks!

Which is better Core Skills or ALRES?

Is it true na mas okay mauna ang OT kesa isabay ang OT and ST? According sa teacher sa ALRES mas okay daw na unahin ang OT para mas behave na ang bata at maintindihan nya ang session sa ST.. since short ang attention span ng anak ko baka daw umiyak lang lagi sa ST session nila..
Pa advise naman po, thank you!

ALRES: Initial Assessment + 3 session = 2500
succeeding session is 600/hr

Core Skills: Initial Assessment = 2000
They have package available if you'll pay in advance

Hi Sis, yup tama lang na mauna yung OT. Yung baby ko was diagnosed with Expressive language disorder. Recommendation ng DevPedia nya, start sya ng OT and then pag nirecommend na ng therapist na okay na sya for speech therapy, then pwede na sya mag start. Yung daughter ko 6 months sya nag OT saka sinabay yung speech.

@incywincymommy - Alam mo mahal talaga sya. ang expenses ng son ko for his therapies alone ay nasa 12k a month then madagdagan pa yan kasi may school na sya this June. Pero try to work it out, parang 3x a week ang therapy nya, twice a week mo ang OT then once a week ang ABA or whatever you prefers. Kaya yan, tyagaan lang talaga and try to learn how to do it at home din. Ganun kasi ginawa ko.

hi sis! who is your ABA therapist? I inquired at Teamworks, parang bothered ako sa terms and condition nila for one year contract etc.. ganun ba talaga ang ABA.. pls reply thanks
