thanks sisters! i'll just ask a quote through email.  i don't mind shouldering more on my part for the rooms. problema ko lang naman kasi medical city halos lahat ng doctors namin. i have no problem with the services. it's the room rates that are taga sobra.

we have phil health so health card na lang talaga that will cover ER and confinement. as for doctors, second na lang sa akin yon because i'm very happy with our family doctors.

fortune care check ups are done in fortune care owned clinics only? hindi pwede sa medical city, st lukes, etc? okay sana because of their low prices pero kaya pala low price.

any feedback with caritas?

anyone here na cocolife ang HMO card? I don't like their services.

@puglover, may caritas kami. Binili yung plan mid 2005 effective until 2015. D halos nagagamit kasi hassle. Nag maxicare kami 2nd year namin ngayon. Almost 49k/yr para sa amin 3 mag-anak

our hmo is cocolife. wala pa naman ako naeencounter na problema sa services nila though di lang kagandahan yung card.. nagamit ko sya dati sa wart removal, regardless kung san part ng body basta up to 1k lang ang coverage.. sa iba kasing card, pag neck up na, di na covered  :(

^family acct kami sis.

@stormy sulit ba talaga maxicare? with medicard kasi i inquired with an agent, covered na daw sa vip program nila ang pre existing conditions? no medical pati..kaso 8k per year lang, hindi magagamit yun maximum dreaded disease limit kahit 2nd year na.

so i'm choosing between caritas, maxicare and icare.. may nakapagsabi sakin sa icare covered daw kasi lahat unlike maxicare? konti lang naman difference sa price except caritas i'm thinking lang ano kaya talaga better?

last week, we brought our baby to the hospital for her checkup. my husband signed her up for a dependent card that's part of his benefit. he was informed that maxicare does not allow checkups of dependents in major hospitals. we can use the card in clinics like wellcare and wellpoint. we'll ask about confinement pa. baka naman walang kuwenta yung card sa hospitals pag kailangan iconfine.

mga sis may tanong po ako. yung company healthcard ko kase di pwede sa hospital where my doctor has a clinic. yung contract kase ng company ko, excluded yung hospital na gusto ko.

pwede ba na sa ibang hospital ako pumunta na accredited ng healthcard ko but will stick with the same doctor? or dapat magpalit din ako ng doctor? btw, accreditied yung doctor ko sa healthcard ko. yung hospital lang talaga ang hindi. tia!

yes pwede ka magpalit ng hospital, same doctor, tapos both hospital and doctor are accredited. ganyan din pedia ng kid ko. accredited siya ng medicard, may isang clinic siya di accredited, then minsan sa hospital naman siya, ayun naman ay accredited. so ang advise niya, dun na lang magpacheck up sa kanya kapag nagkiclinic siya sa hospital na accredited ng card para covered ng card ang consultation fee.

mga sis, if I get a healthcard, automatic ba na covered na yun si baby ko and my spouse too. And if I avail one, when can I start using it kaya.

Especially if its different from mine and hubby's office-sponsored healthcard?

hi lhanny,

hindi automatic yun coverage ng anak mo ay hubby.. you need to enroll them so they will get the health insurance card. except if your company will shoulder their healthcards. hth!

I checked kasi the maxicare website, I dont understand bakit isa lang ang and pwede i-add dun sa computation.

pano sis, if I get one, I should enroll my child and hubby ko, so the annual premium will not be the same?
