hi sis lysa thanks for the inputs......btw ask ko sana ilang months ang preparation na ginawa mo para makapag set up ka?magkano ba ang tamang capital para dito? thanks in advance sa reply.
Mga sis just saw your posts, I just opened my Travel Agency here in BF Resort Las Pinas. Make sure na credible agencies yun kase kayo mapapahiya sa clients nyo in the future. Madami sa akin nag offer ng franchise ng travel agency pero nung niresearch ko lugi ako kase naka lock in ako sa rates nila. Eh syempre ang clients nag cacanvass yan sa mura.Kung wala kayong capital muna I suggest start small muna at home, advertise with your friends or offer to help them find good rates for their travels. Don't be pressured na mag IATA kase pag nag IATA ka na dapat nasa P30M na capital nyo and super dami requirements. Wag muna din kayo ma pressure mag pakabit ng Abacus or Amadeus kase baka hindi pa kayanin ng volume ng clients nyo medyo mahal and monthly rate. Pero pag medyo madami na kayong clients may quota ang Abacus na free na kayo monthly Pero if you have a good location with reasonable price of rent I suggest setting up an office. Madaming nag wawalk in at syempre yung iba they prefer to see an actual travel agency office for their transactions. If you have any questions I am more than happy to help Pero for the rest pa back read naman kase andun na yung mga sagot
sis, home-based yung travel agency mo?mga sis, if home-based ba, need pa kaya ng business permit?
Madaming nag o offer ng cheap seminars tungkol sa travel agency, pero later on you'll find out na it's a networking pala.
^^^^Sis depends kase sa budget mo. Mas mabilis ang system with Abacus but you still have to ask your IATA supplier regarding their price na ibibigay mo sayo before mo masagot [textspeak!] client mo Ako [textspeak!] hindi ko pa kaya ma afford mag monthly sa Abacus so mababait suppliers ko they help me Mas madami kase akong local tours ngayon versus International kaya hindi ko pa masydong kailngan ang international rates. And Preferred Sales Agent na ako ng Cebu Pac kaya i have my own system for that so kahit walang amadeus ok na ako Start small muna sis check mo lage kung kaya ng budget Don't be pressured ganyan din ako dati feeling ko dapat super bongga. Baka daw mahirapan ako makabawi
Thanks sis! sabi mo you're a PSA of Cebu Pacific... baka pwede kita maging supplier for Cebupac tickets...
maraming advantages kung may abacus na kayo from the start. sorry hindi ko kase puwedeng i-post dito. confidential yung iba. hmmm...typical example:we have a client na nagcacanvass ng tiket papuntang Vietnam this coming month. i gave her 15k+ round trip airfare, she asked two agencies in Manila and one agency in Los Banos, same day na binigyan ko sya ng quotation, actually ako pa yung pinakahuli nyang hiningan ng quotataion... sa akin din sya nagpatiket sa huli kase cheaper daw yung rate namin. pero inuulit ko, puwede namang wala munang abacus sa umpisa. yun nga lang manghihinayang ka, yun kase ang lesson learned para sa akin.goodluck to all!
