MIKELLY -- to put it in context -- the clinical definition of "OC" is different from the way we loosely termed/used the "OC label" here to describe some of our quirkiness or uncommon (but not abnormal) standards. Some people who are "close-minded" are not OC; but the real clinical-case OCs are generally close-minded kaya nga daw hard to treat.
meron akong kakilala lalake OC din sa house. He ot married last year ang nakakawa siya pa rin ang nagliligpit ng bahay nila kahit na me asawa na siya. minsan nagrereklamo sa kin yung girl kasi sabi niya he never let her clean up the house since they stayed together. told the girl that she's lucky for having a husband who's cleaning up the house. tee hee!!!!!
And I don't mind spending time steaming clothes just to get rid of kusot. Hindi talaga ako mapakali
^gusot pala not kusot.. I have a personal steamer, maliit lang siya, just got it for 3,500 ($79) here in Hancocks, ang mahal naman ng 15K for a steamer. Anyway, I wash and dry my clothes, delicate cycle lang lagi, so less gusot, at pag meron pa talaga, steam ko siya before I hang them. You can buy flat iron na steamer at the same time, I just don't know how much it is.I have learned a lot with aquacharly.. hat's off to you sis!
SILVERONFIRE thank you too, for giving me the opportunity to be of help. By nature kasi, I am not a madamot person. Eh pano ko ba nalaman lahat ito? I was born messy, definitely hindi naman ako genius -- madami ako natutunan kasi other people shared their knowledge and experiences with me. (Some people kasi, pag nag advise ka eh nagagalit or they think you are putting them down.)Yes, before the kids arrive, it is good to establish the tone of your lifestyle. Remember ha -- you must spend only minimum time on house and house management. The bulk of your time should be spent on what brings you more joy -- time spent with husband, kids, career -- even reading a book lang. All these organizing activities' objective is to give us more time for what is important to us, and also -- so that our family enjoys the lifestyle we choose for ourselves.Rules are just rules -- you can adjust these now and then -- to better fit your lifestyle. No one's rules are better than anybody's remember that -- but we can consider what others do as a guide to what we do.Tama ka -- "nice and neat" when he is around. But remember too, kelangan everything looks effortless (do not make dada, do not do your chores) when he is around. Also, if you are organized -- you can perpetuate the illusion that men are suckers for -- that he is the center of your universe. LOL, but true.Somewhere along the way, because he is convinced (though he may not admit verbally) that you are managing your home well -- madali na lang when it is his turn to be organized. He will "drop" easily -- kasi he is already "sold" onto the lifestyle you are perpetuating.I wish you all the best with your new life. God bless.
