Ang hirap mag decide, sabi kasi ng friend ko, kung hindi din lang daw mag st jude, huwag na din sa uno... ibang school nalang daw.

^Correct ka Sis, depende talaga sa personality ng tao yun kung ano siya pag laki.

My daughter goes to school at chang kai shek, nursery sya dun. tuition fee nya 19T per quarter.

Dun din sa Chang kai shek nag aral kasi husband ko pati ang father in law, sis in law ko eh kaya dun din nila gusto pumasok ang mga anak ko. Kung ako papipiliin gusto ko sana chinese catholic school.. yung sa ICA malapit sa house namin in wackwack.. kasi ang chang kai hindi catholic school eh  Kaso ayaw nila sa ICA kasi mga b*b* sa chinese ang mga taga ICA (sabi ng husband ko). Kaya ngayon kahit na 1 hour and half ang byahe ng anak ko from mandaluyong to manila, no choice kasi dun ang school nya.

Naku sis kakaawa nga  daughter ko kasi super aga nya magising... 8am ang pasok nya eh, 645am umaalis na sila ng dad nya kasi sobrang traffic lagi lalo na sa may magsaysay, at kahit super aga na nila umalis eh nalelate pa din siya. Ang hirap pa mag park sa school kasi walang sariling parking lot kaya dagdag pa sa pagkalate ang paglalakad papuntang school mula dun sa kanto ng padre algue st.

 Baka pag k2 na yung daughter ko ikaw ang maging teacher nya

ako graduated ng phil chen kuang sa p parada in san juan.other's said that mas mataas ang teaching or standard ng chen kuang compared to ica. but my 3 yrs old son will go for hope christian high school since taga tondo lang ako.mga pinsan nya nasa hope din.so far,maganda naman montessori nila.kc yun iang pamangkin ko nag merry angel then nag hope.tapos yun isang pamangkin ko from the start  hope na cya.mas advance ang teaching or method ng hope kc nakakabasa na yun isa unlike sa merry angels traditional teaching.ang tuition daw ng hope eh 52thou for one year.madami tinuturo sa prep.cooking,baking,music,p.e.,basic computer,etc

im a graduate of st. jude... batch nineteen-forgotten. LOL! i can see a lot of difference from my pamangkins now in st. jude... ang dami na nilang extra-curricular activities. while during my time, puro aral lang. 2 of my pamangkins are exceling in school also. they get to join different math contests in other schools and countries. kasama rin sila sa basketball varsity and student council. grabe, super busy lagi. minsan nag-ooverlap pa ang schedule nila. one of them is about to go to college next school year. i heard ateneo de manila offered him a scholarship for B.S. math. but since my pamangkin is planning to be a doctor, he's going for UST instead. i've yet to ask if UST offered him a scholarship as well.

i used to tutor kids from st. jude a few years back. grade 1, grade 4 and grade 5. parang nabawasan na mga assignments nila everyday. buti naman. pero pansin ko, yung chinese nila, ganun pa rin. memorize galore pa rin! LOL.

hi marge028, nakapagreserve ka na ba sa grace? i've been reading threads for preschools pero mukhang bagsak namin sa grace pa rin. yun kasi pinakamalapit sa amin. our daughter is currently studying at Mind Specialist School (MSS) - toddler class but my husband wants her to start na sa big school. Gracean din kasi siya. Ayaw ko naman mahirapan sa byahe anak ko so Grace na nga. Just took the exam last week and pasado naman sya. Will go back tomorrow to check their facilities and pay for reservations na.

question ko lang, may idea ba kayo kung may sumasama adult sa kids kung magccr??? Sa MSS kasi, they have 2 teachers and 2 yayas sa class nila. Di ko lang to natanong sa Grace.  Sakit tlaga sa ulo hanap ng perfect school for your child..... daming pros and cons....

^ yes, nursery pasok ng anak ko. i think kaya niya na sa k1 pero naisip ko naman is ayaw ko naman na younger sya sa mga classmates nya. maliit kasi sya for her age e baka matulak lang sya ng mga classmates nya.

onga, that's why tom we're gonna check out the school again before making any final decisions. gusto ko din sana sa jubilee - feeling ko kasi mas madami sila extra curricular activities, ayaw ko puro aral lang... all work and no play...... pero ayaw ko din malayo, kawawa ang kids e. so priority is nearest school so kahit naman sa iba sya magprep, grace pa din bagsak namin pagdating ng grade1.

praying that we will be able to make the right decision for our daughter.....

^ hmm... ayaw ko na palipat-lipat school. it's either continue sa MSS or sa Grace na. baka kasi matrauma anak ko paiba-iba schools. hirap naman adjust to new environment.

MSS na kami for our daughter's nursery. Pumunta kami kanina sa Grace to look at their facilities and was supposed to pay na for reservation.... kaso, we noticed that their pre-school teachers were a bit old na. Parang di approachable for a kid.  And we witnessed firsthand one of the teachers talking to their students in Taglish. Ok naman sana kung matapang ang teachers but ayaw naman namin na nursery palang takot na anak namin.  Anyway, will see again next year.....

I am transferring my daughter from Grace to Pace Academy this school yr. I was hesitant at first kc parang d kilala un school. So i first enrolled my second daughter there. I was happy and satisfied naman. Ang laki ng difference from Grace. Un chinese pa lang, hindi kailangan memorization, talagang conversation. Halos lahat ng parents na kausap ko dun satisfied sa turo ng school. Not to mention small student teacher ratio. around 22-25 per class. with 3-4 teachers in class. and most of their teachers are graduates of UP. Hindi lang maganda mga facilities nila copmpared to other chinese schools. and along the road un school but whats impt naman e un education.

im an sshs graduate pero [textspeak!] nila mas ok na ngyon sa hope kc nga they'r using montessori teaching method na.. unlike sa sshs na traditional pa rin..
my daughter is 2 yrs old pa [textspeak!] naman.. balak ko sana sa mga pre-schools muna cya for 1 yr bago mag big school.. sa cambridge-binondo or merry angel muna.. any feedbacks on cambridge binondo?

according to my aunties the best pre-school in q.c is mothergoose.  okay daw foundation ng mga kids galing dun.  but it's so expensive, i think right now nasa 120k na.

Ok naman sa Cambridge Binondo, kung 2 years old anak mo, nasa toddler class na siya, Teacher Val is so adorable. I opt na mag aral anak ko dito than Merry Angels, kasi masyadong traditional ang Merry Angels, and heard na malakas manghingi ng donation   Kaso, daming activities sa Cambridge, which is okay din naman.

grabe talaga sa mahal, overrated! wala akong budget for that.
