oo nga sis anong area? kasi ako sa St. Stephen's nag-aral since nursery eh so malamang yun na rin irereco ko sayo..... sa binondo area siya.....

me naman galing sa Philippine Cultural HS -Annex sa Caloocan naman yon.
sa Malabon Cultural Institute naman ako nag elem. (that time kasi wala pang HS division)

good choice kung ipapasok mo sya sa chinese school, math pa lang advance na ang teaching method nila.

Chiang Kai Shek College, my alma mater hehe.... marami ko naririnig na magandang feedbacks ngayon e, nasa 65k siguro sila ngayon sis. mas advance na din daw turo nila ngayon well, compared dun sa time ko.

sa qc area ok ang pace academy.  very near grace christian.  relatively new school siguro mga 10 yrs pa lang.  pero ok yung teaching style nya.  very practical sa tingin ko.  max of 24 students in a class tapos meron pa silang individualized instruction for an hour a day = 1 teacher : 3-4 students.  chinese lessons nila very practical.  they'll teach the kids chinese words, then they use that word in conversation at ndi puro memorization.  tuition is 49k/yr.

Quezon City Institute in Banawe.  Free tution kapag 2 yrs old pero misc ata is 19T. Balak ko ipasok dun baby ko pag prep na.

Pwede po tayo magkaroon ng new thread for non-chinese schools?  I'm looking for a good playschool for my toddler around the north-east QC area (taga Novaliches kami) baka you guys have suggestions.

^^ako naman my options are Ateneo and Xavier, parehong Jesuit schools.  Pero gusto ni hubby sa Xavier kasi he's a graduate of that school.

@kristinacs - thanks for the tuition info about xavier..sa ngayun dun ko nga gusto. Well 19mos pa lang naman twins ko, enrolled in a playschool. Our pedia kasi made kwento na ok nga talaga ang contacts for businesses lalo na if you came from Xavier. Sabi naman granny ko malayo from QC, sabi ko naman am willing to make hatid and sundo naman eh (well of course aral muna mag drive )

Chiang Kai Shek kahit Mandaluyong pa kami nakatira pero doon pa din me nag aaral, may classmate ako kahit sa Antipolo pa siya doon pa din siya pumapasok.

Super higpit and conservative ang CKSC may pros and cons nga lang.

^^^Regarding Hope Christian, meron na silang parang montessori type, up to kindergarden ata or grade 2, after that traditional type na din.

ako naman, nag-iisip kung ok ba talaga sa St. Jude kasi super hirap, parang ayoko naman mahirapan yung anak ko.

CKSC naman super populated, mahirap ata mag excel sa ganun school, then yung chinese lesson nila, every week may test, parang memorization, hindi na naintindihan yung lesson.

Grace Christian naman super fast paced yung lesson, then turn off yung ibang teacher hindi marunong mag english, I mean mali mali yung grammar, shocks naging teacher pa sila.

Meron ba kayong alam na school na dapat naiintindihan nila yung inaaral, hindi yung nagmamadali na matapos yung lesson plan?

^Hope Christian Makati, maganda feedback nila.

St. Jude naman, kung ako ayaw ko doon mag aral anak ko dahil sa sobrang hirap baka pag dating ng college ayaw na mag aral ng mga anak ko hehe.

Chiang Kai, hindi naman sa over populated, madaming classroom per year. Nung HS ako umaabot kami ng 11 sections around 40 - 45 per class. Super strict talaga sila kaya parang think twice din me kung paaralin ko pa sila sa CKSC kasi ako hindi nag enjoy dahil ang daming bawal.

Grace Christian naman madaming sosyal tapos ngayon ko lang nalaman na ang mga teacher pala eh mali mali ang grammar.

Different Chinese Schools meron yan mga tatak (sorry don't know the exact term) like pag St. Jude ka nerdy nerdy daw, pag St. Stephen... etc.
