the lesser the days the better, para di masyado mag create ng doubts ang VISA officer.

If you are entitled sa leave for 1 month at naka declare yun sa letter, dapat consistent ka sa application mo. Otherwise baka mag isip ang visa officer.

When I applied here sa UAE. I only put 2 weeks duration. Kasi pag OFW, 1 month lang ang yearly vacation, pero makikita nya sa stamps sa passport ko na lumabas nako ng bansa 1 month ago. So minsan careful din talaga sa declaration ng days.

Pag nagka visa na, then you can stay there 6 months max. Hope this helps

^^ Pag 2 months ang nilagay mo, magdududa na agad ang Visa Officer. Kasi di ka naman talaga pwedeng mag-leave ng 2 month sa work, unless nga may intensyon ka ng di bumalik.

@roquejo :  Maximum na ang 10 working days for me. But for my parents who  are over 70, the last time they applied, medyo nagtagal because they were required  to undergo physical exam.

@lululemon:  I just  put 2 or 3 weeks.  And laging kasama naman sa itinerary ko ang US  everytime I go to Canada  so  factor pa yan.  It really doesn't  matter  kung gaano katagal or igsi ang intended  stay  sa Canada,  kasi palaging  allowed naman ang tourist to stay there for 6 months, unlike sa US na paiba-iba.

Common sense, do you think that won't raise a red flag? Tutal minimum na binibigay nila is 6 months so might as well put 1 month vacation.

hi mga sis, ano kaya chances ko of getting a tourist visa to canada? I am 25 turning 26 this june and single. I work as a junior officer sa isang government bank earning around 40k+ monthly, gross. I don't have properties yet because I spend my money traveling around Pinas and nearby asian countries. I have been to HK, macau, bangkok, vietnam pa lang and by the end of this year plus SG, Malaysia and Shanghai.

I have no relatives there. I just wanna see the Niagara falls and kung ano pang pwede makita in about 5 days lang siguro. Mga how much kaya magagastos ko pag ganun? I don't mind staying in hostels kung meron ganun dun.

I have a friend who's a visa officer (not in Canadian embassy ha) whom I asked regarding your case. HIGH RISK ka raw, hehe. If you're only earning around 30k net daw, parang di mo pa "afford" talaga magtravel sa mga bansang kagaya ng Canada unless may magsu-support sayo. Ang plane fare nga lang daw equivalent na ng 2 months salary mo. Although she acknowledges na pwede naman talagang pinagi-ipunan mo ang travel, still hindi sufficient yun.

Tapos yung age mo pa at civil status. Strike anywhere ka raw. Pag nakakuha ka ng work dun, madaling iwan ang work sa Pinas dahil definitely mas malaki ang kikitain sa Canada. Very weak daw ang ties mo sa Pinas.

Kung how long ang approved leave, yun lang dapat ang i-declare kasi you have to submit the approved leave letter from your office together with your application. In your approved leave, they should also state the date of your return to work. Additional proof yan na hindi ka pwde magtagal sa Canada at kelangan mo bumalik.

thanks sis. haha. natawa ako pero valid naman points ng friend mo. actually, i have a guy friend sa toronto. pero ayoko sana ideclare kasi guy eh baka isipin pa bf ko yun at di na ko uuwi. lol. although immigrant na buong family nila dun. classmate ko lang kasi siya dati at hindi naman kami magkadugo. pero if ever kasi, sagot niya accom and tours ko dun. hehe

re: working there - hindi ko gagawin yun kasi actually ok naman work ko dito very stable pa and maganda ang benefits kasi nga government. ang babaw pero gusto ko lang talaga makita ang niagara. haha. but siyempre, iba pa rin ang pwedeng isipin ng visa officer.

Hindi ata ganon kadali magpa-convert ng tourist visa to work visa. May nahanap ka na ba na employer and did they tell you na ganon ang gawin mo? Based sa research ko before, the employer needs to justify sa government the reason/s for hiring foreigners, the government prioritize their own people unless may shortage for employees, that's the time na naghi-hire sila from other countries. Kaya kung mapapansin mo puro skilled workers or highly professionals yung nasa priority list ng government kasi yun yung kulang sa kanila.

Yes sis..I do have an employer na. Actually, 3 different employers pa nga kaso pare-pareho silang kelangan ng child caregiver ASAP. And it takes a long time if they would get an LMO pa kung Work visa ang iaapply nila for me. Kaya Tourist visa yung nakikita naming pinakamabilis na way. May Letter of invitation na ako from my relatives in Canada yun nga lang, di ko sure kung one month ang ilalagay ko for the tourist visa eh kakayanin kaya iconvert yun sa Work visa. Six months kasi initial plan ko pero may work ako dito at pag may certificate na on-leave ako, kaduda-duda nga kung 6 months ang ilalagay ng company ko..

sis, i know somebody na ganyang ang ginawa from tourist to work visa and she stays here for 6 yrs ha. take note then di sya makakuha kuha ng pr sabi ng immig officer kahit 20 yrs pa sya dito di sya bibigyan ng pr kasi illegal ang ginawa nya. and take note nagbabayad sya ng tax. so pinauwi talaga sya and pag work visa ipo-process talaga yun sa bansang pinanggalingan mo or kung nasa ibang bansa ka nakatira dun i process but not within canada so be careful lang para walang hassle pag kukuha na ng pr.

^^Ano bang work yan? Hindi ba they still need an LMO even if you are in Canada already because you are a foreigner? Before they can issue LMO, they need to justify the need for a foreign worker. You also need a Social ID # to be able to work in Canada. You can only get the SIN if you the paperwork that allows you to work in Canada.

^^Bakit iniuwi sa Pilipinas eh me mga Dayhomes at Daycares naman sa Canada? Depending on your household income, may subsidies pa yang mga yan.

hello girls.i am 26..i am planning to apply for canada TRV next week can anyone tell me whats my chance of getting a canadian TRV i will pass the following documents... complete application form,enrollment certificate with 1 month approved leave of absence,my baks account (2 passbooks)130k only,notarized invi.letter from my canadian friend stating he will support all my expenses while im in canada and his job certificate and his citizenship infos.my motorcycle receipt,notarized affidavit of ownership(house and lot)bank certificate,tittle of cemetery slots i bought,2 checklist,family info,notarized proposed  itenerary from my friend,2 photos and managers check i also put police clearance and my birth certificate too,passports (old and new)been singapore and twice in aussie 3 and 6 months...hope hear from u guys ...
