Hello Folks, (sorry if this is the wrong thread for my question but hopefully someone here has answers for me)

A Philippine passport holder will travel to US but will have a couple of hours layover to Vancouver. Is Canadian visa required for this situation? From this canadian website it shows for Philippines there isn't a need for TRV but I'm hearing otherwise. Anyone here has the most recent experience like this?

  No need  as you will not be leaving  the airside area of the airport anyway.

^^ I think you can apply for just the visa but you can not travel to Canada as of the moment.
