^ sis dun sa bandang wharf ng 100 Islands, marami na dun mga tabi 2x mga inns..yun nga lang wala den akong alam na ok pag stayan...pero back read ka lang sis sa pag kakatanda ko meron isang ka sis naten na ng suggest na pinagtutuluyan nila dun...either Pangasinan Thread or Bolina Thread here sa On a Roadtrip...

meron po ba kayo alam na cheap hotel/inn s alaminos? we're planning po kasi to go to hundred islands. TIA

sis, kakagaling ko lang dun last month. marami nga mga transient dun malapit sa wharf. di ko marecommend yun pinag stay-an namin na bahay. mahina kasi yun tubig e. hehe.

anyway, share ko lang experience namin. mga 7am yata andun na kami. tapos nagsimula na kami maghanap ng pagsstay-an. yun una namin pinuntahan is yun Villa Milagros. ok naman kasi 40% pa sila sa rates. pero medyo luma na yun mga room nila. since marami kami (11), need namin ng 3 rooms so bale 2700. nag try pa kami hanap sa iba. punta dapat kami dun sa RJ yata yun, pero di na namin napasok kasi may nakausap kami dun sa tapat nun RJ na nagpapatransient daw sya (sya din yun naging bangkero namin later on). so dinala nya kami dun sa bahay nya na medyo ang layo gosh hehe.. pero ayun pagdating namin sa haus nya 2 lang rooms. tapos ang rate nya after tawaran portion is 2500. e kaso di kami kasya pala so umalis na kami. tapos may girl dun, dunno kung asawa nya or what basta sumama yun girl sa min palabas dun sa street habang naghahanap kami. let's call her "Ate".

tapos nakakita kami ng isa pang bahay kaso 5k naman daw ang rate sabi nya. then isa pa ulit. chineck namin, 4 yun rooms.. yun 1 may aircon.. tapos 3 ang CR. malawak yun place but halatang di nam-maintain. so una 3500 daw. then tinawaran, naging 2500. go na kami dun kasi pagod na kami kakahanap ang init na kasi. tapos naalala ko ipa-on yun gripo to check yun water flow. golly. walang tubig. naka off daw yun motor kasi may butas yun tangke. so ayun in-ON na nun may ari. may mga drum din. inipunan na nya ng tubig para daw pagbalik namin marami tubig. so ok na. off to the islands na kami.

paglabas namin ng house, andun c ate (yun kanina), nag o offer na sasamahan nya daw kami sa bilihan ng seafoods para may baon kami sa island kasi wala mabibilhan dun. pwede naman daw nya timplahan at ibilin sa boatman namin para yun boatman mag iihaw. ipapahiram na lang daw nya yun ice chest nya. (bait ni ate). so ayun, punta kami dun sa talipapa. medyo ang mamahal pa rin ng presyo ha to think na bagsakan na yun. buti inabot pa namin kasi till 8am lang daw yun. c ate parang di na tumatawad kagat na lang ng kagat sa presyo siguro may cut sya dun! hehe.

so ayun na, nilagay na sa ice chest na pinahiram ni ate yun mga napamili namin isda at hipon. tapos dun malapit sa wharf (yun sa tapat mismo nung Welcome to Hundred Islands), tumambay kami kasi may tindahan dun tapos andun c ate, may mga katulong sya sa pagprepare ng food namin. nagpasaing na rin sya dun. yun hipon niluto na nya. yun isda tinimplahan. nakalista lahat nun mga nakukuha sa tindahan na ingredients. tapos bumili na lang kami ng tubig, uling, paper plates, etc. tapos nagpahiram naman si ate ng kaldero at tray, etc. so after ng kwentahan ng expenses, binayaran namin yun mga nagamit na ingredients plus talent fee ni ate na bahala na daw kami so 100 pesos. thankful na sya. hehe. tapos nag offer sya na ipagprepare kami ng dinner pagbalik. bibili daw sya ng liempo sa palengke. (ayon sa mga kasama ko medyo mahal daw yun naging presyo ng liempo nun nakausap nila c ate kinagabihan, sabi na nga ba may cut c Ate hehe.)

oh well, so ayun, off to the islands na kami. 1800 ang bayad sa boat. sarap nun mga baon namin. overall, pwede na rin kasi pumunta kami dun wala kami mga baon na dala e. buti na lang din andun si ate. hehe.

so kung pupunta kayo, prepare na rin kayo ng baon nyo. ilagay nyo sa ice chest, yelohan nyo na lang para di masira yun mga iihawin. para at least pagdating nyo talaga sa island e dire diretso na kayo sa island hopping. yun iba naman e may mga take out kumakain na sila before sumakay ng boat. pero gugutumin ka talaga habang nasa island kasi swimming swimming e. kapagod. so masarap talaga magbaon kasi mahal ang bilihin pag sa island mismo.

ayan ang haba na pala ng kwento ko. hehe..

got back from bolinao. overall, enjoy naman. we stayed at puerto del sol. sobrang relaxing and peaceful. konti lang din kasi ang people. when we swim, it's only the two of us. we had a chance to visit patar beach, light house, swim at enchanted cave (2 lang din kami plus si manong tour guide as photographer). the following day, we visited UP MSI, the st james parish (although under construction siya), and the market. it rained hard when we were about to check out but ok lang. the staff of puerto del sol were very nice. ang problem lang, they serve dinner at 6:30 pm... super aga.

pa-share naman ng itinerary and contact persons (si manong tour guide). my friend and i are planning to visit bolinao and we're torn between staying at treasures bolinao or puerto del sol.

kagabi na feature sa MMK yung Treasures of Bolinao, medyo late part na yung nakita ko...ang ganda na miss ko tuloy yung lugar...medyo malayo nga lang ang byahe pero worth it talaga..

^sabi ko na nga ba the rock that billy was standing and having his final dialogue was the one along the beach of tresures. di ko kasi napanuod ng buo yung MMK.

we went there overnight. here's our itinerary
6:00 am - arrived at 5 star terminal (Pasay)

6:20 am - bus left the terminal
              Fare -Php 414

1:30 pm - arrived at 5 star terminal (bolinao)
            - rode a tricycle
              we have no arrangements when we got
              there but the resort staff gave us an idea
              that the trike fare is around Php 100-120
              we rode mag rico's tricycle to the resort
              and paid him Php 100

1:50 pm - arrived at Puerto Del Sol
            - we were given welcome seashell
              neckalaces, welcome drinks (buko juice)
              as we checked in our room. we even had
              a chance to choose our room since there 
              are only few guests. we had the mansion
              villa. they have an ongoing promo of Php
              2500, that's without breakfast. too bad
              they don't have sun signal so we were like
              excommunicated. i can't contact amng
              rico even if he gave me my number. the
              resort staff was very willing to get a trike
              for us. we advised the staff to fetch us at
              4 pm. we had late lunch first and few
              picture takings and rest after a tiring bus
              ride

4:00 pm - the receptionist called and informed us
              that the trike was ready. this time gerard
              was our driver / tour guide /
              photographer. we asked how much is the
              trip, he said PhP250 that includes the trip
              to Patar Beach, Lighthouse and enchanted
              cave and it's good for 2 hours.

4:30 pm - it was drizzling when we arrived at patar
              and the waves were really big, i said i'll
              reserve swimming for the enchanted cave.

5:00 pm - we were at lighthouse but just stayed
              there for 5 minutes. we just tool photos.

5:15 pm - we arrived at enchanted caves, too bad
              the caretaker said it is only open until 5
              pm. gerard told us to just continue the
              trip the following day.

5:25 pm - we were back at Puerto del Sol. made
              arrangements with gerard for a sort
              of "city tour" including the church, market
              and UP MSI.
             

              we just swam in the resort's pool, had
              dinner and called it a day. we were very
              tired to use the one hour complementary
              use of their game room such as billiards,
              darts, etc.

8:30 am - we are set to go to the bayanm but had
              few picture takings first as we wait for the
              trike

8:40 am - gerard could not make it and set kuya
              remsey for replacement. for 2 1/2 hours,
              we went to UP MSI (the museum is closed
              though), St. James church (which is under
              renovation for its 400th anniversary) and
              the market were we bought dried fish and
              squids. we also headed straight to
              enchanted caves and had 30 minutes
              swimming there. it costs us Php 250

11:20 am - we were back at Puerto del Sol. we fixed our things and headed for check out

12:00 nn - we were about to check out, when the
               rain started to fall, it was typhoom isang.
               kuya remsey led us to the bus station.
               Damage = Php 100

12:30 pm- when we reached the terminal, the bus
               going to manila is ready to depart. we are
               about to board the 2:00 pm bus. but
               since it would be great to arrive manila
               earlier, we took the said trip

7:30 pm - we arrived at the 5 star Terminal in Pasay,


to those who are going to book for Puerto del sol, Nina Bariso of the Manila Booking Office was really helpful and accommodation. we booked around 3 pm the day prior to our trip and it's a saturday. gladly bank transfers are accepted.

we tried to contact treasures but no one is answering both mobile phones and landlines. because some phone lines are not yet restored due to previous typhoon. Puerto del sol doesn't have it's wifi reconnected yet and the sun celllular signal.

^ yup sis...as in yun lang na part lang ang nakita ko sa MMK nung nakaupo si Billy sa Bato, kitang kita yung bridge sa likod niya...

lately ko den pala nalaman yung likod lang pala ng Treasures, yun na pala mismo yung Patar Public Beach na sinasabi nila...pansin ko den pag dating na ng hapon medyo malakas na ang alon...

ang regret ko lang dito, hindi ko na try yung ginawa nila Susan Enriquez na ng punta sila beach para makita yung mga Giant Clams (nga ba un?) hehe....

Napanuod ko rin 'yung MMK last Saturday, sabi ko na sa Bolinao 'yun kaso akala ko sa Solomon's Paradise siya.hehe!  Mas nag-enjoy mga officemates ko sa Patar Beach kesa sa Hundred Islands...we stayed in Pearl's Sea Breeze, pwede na siya sa 'min. Malapit siya sa Solomon's and mababait sina ate at kuya na mga caretaker. Seaman may-ari and 3 ata lang 'yung rooms pero aircon lahat. Pwede ka rin magluto and ikaw na bahala magbigay ng bayad...ang lakas nga ng alon sa Bolinao. Hinahabol namin 'yung sunset nung pumunta kami.ahaha! Super enjoy dito...gusto ko bumalik and yayain naman 'yung mga barkada.

^ sis yummy_yan ...ang ganda ng area sa may Patar Beach sis diba..kitang kita mo talaga pag lubog ng araw..yan den ang inaabangan ko sa bridge sa Treasures para mag photo shoot... haayy...ka miss ang Bolinao.. pero pinaka fun part saken diyan yung sa Enchanted Cave...bagong experience kasi yun saken na makaswim sa luob ng Cave, ang linaw ng tubig...

madame den choices sa area ng Patar Beach... na mas affrodable...

Korek! ang saya talaga sa Patar beach, sarap sumabay sa waves.ahaha! nagsnorkeling nga ako, ahaha! pati mga isda nadadala ng waves =)) dun nga ko nasunog eh kasi wala talagang ahunan...di na kami nagrent ng cottages dun kasi before 12 noon naman umalis na kami. Pinatong lang namin 'yung gamit namin sa sand since mukhang safe naman. Di nga lang pala kami nakapunta sa Enchanted cave kasi wala ng oras, pagbalik ko na lang siguro. hehe! Try to visit rin 'yung church sa town proper, St. James ata 'yun. Di lang ako nakapasok, nagpicture lang sa labas. =))

masaya sa enchanted cave, ang linaw ng water. sabi nung tour guide, galing daw sa bukal yun pero yung depth ng tubig depende kung high tide or low tide. pero yung gitna, mga 8 feet yata...

guys how do i get off from the five star terminal or kaya victory liner papunta bingbings resort in patar?

^from the terminal, there are lots of trikes waiting na. usually mga 100 pesos yung fare pero mas malayo pa ng konti ang bings. i hope maayos na yung place ngayon kasi it was devastated by typhoon. if you have the budget, puerto del sol ka na. promo nila 2500 for 2 until sept 15 yata. no regrets...

I'm from Pangasinan, been to Bolinao so many times. If you go you must drop by the public beach in Patar. It's right beside Treasures of Bolinao. Bale Treasures does not really have a big shoreline, pupunta ka rin sa public beach, which is free except you gotta pay the parking fee and prolly around P300 for the cottage. Mas nice ang beach dito than the one in Puerto del Sol. Ang sarap magswim! Clear ang water + soft, light brown sand. Mmm!
