I feel like my quarter-life crisis is fast approaching... medyo inaanticipate ko na. How do you guys deal with it?

learning phase in life.

as in yung lahat ng kailangan matutunan, dito you will mature more. yung tipong akala mo mature na ka na yet hindi pa pala. this stage will teach you a lot of things good and bad.

most challenging part of life i guess...we have to learn who we really are and at the same time accept the fact that what we dreamed ourselves to be when we were merely kids would sometimes not happen. but hey, life is beautiful. ;)

how does one deal with quarter-life crisis?  mysterio din siya saken eh. :P  somehow, you go through days wherein things are fine.  then there are days where you just feel rotten and senseless.  like you're doing all the wrong things and driving at all the wrong goals.  they say, like everything else, this too shall pass.  pero ang tagal niyang mag-pass ha.  what, somehow, works for me is counting my blessings.  when i start feeling like a blind rat in a maze, i start thinking of all the things i have that other people may not have.  at some point, i realize i don't really have the right to complain because i got more than i probably deserve. :)

i actually don't feel like i am suffering from this. i mean, yeah, there was a time when i didn't know what i wanted to do with my life. it took me a while to figure that out. lahat na ata ng pagtatally, ginawa ko. lahat na din ng possible options- writing, nursing, being a lawyer, teaching, being a psychiatrist, etc.-lahat na ata naisip ko na ah puwede sa akin yan. but i wasn't happy pa din. but i couldn't say i was severely depressed or that i was thinking about it all the time. in a way, nakatulong din ang recession haha. no seriously, it makes you grateful to have a job. even if it's a job you don't particularly love or like, if it sustains you, you can't help but feel grateful and stop agonizing about so many things.

now, i have a goal in mind na. also, my bf asked me to do a 10 year plan. originally, he asked me to do two- plan A (ideal) and plan B (if everything backfired). so my situation's the same but being able to outline the things i want to accomplish cleared some of my doubts and enabled me to see the steps i need to take to get to wherever i want to be.

I feel like I still have so many things to achieve. I want to learn more things. My hunger for new knowledge that really interests me isn't being put to a halt rather it's being heightened all the more!

There are times when I question myself as to WHAT else do I WANT to do and HOW would I really DO IT which make my future years even more exciting to imagine!

In addition, I feel that my control over my sexuality is more profound unlike when I was in my early 20's. I may still have some hesitations on some ideas related to this but I can say that it's easier for me to weigh things and just let loose. It's not like I'm saying my morals have changed but I feel a lot freer and that I am not inhibited to speak my mind and think aloud on certain "taboos".

Being twenty something is exciting and challenging

Im independent, especially now that I live far away from my family for the first time. I can do almost about everything that i only dreamed of.

Makes me realize that during all the times I patted myself on the back for thinking I was so effing smart or cool before the twenties started to increment, I was just being an obstinate self-centered brat. Haha. live and learn. :D

being twenty something, it's starting to sink in to me that life is short so we have to enjoy it;

-independence and learning new things on my own

-you will realize who your true friends are kasi hanggang ngayon friends mo pa rin ang mga hs barkada or college barkada mo

-i become more patient and thankful

Sa early part ng aking pagiging 20 something, I had the most fun. I traveled, flirted, shopped everything possible with my money. Super enjoy. Ngayon na asa late 20s na ako, I became more mature in dealing with life. Super glad that na encounter ko how to have fun. I really love being in the 20s, now I'm getting scared as I approach the 30s.

more serious about life.
mas naiintindihan ko na mom ko, why she used to be so strict on me. kung baga, nadaanan ko na din yung mga napagdaanan nya that made her worry-freak about her children or hurt before.

for me, being twenty something is really something. in this age i experienced the happiest and the most painful events in my life so far. i loved, loved in return, i lost, hurt, i got really scared, worried about life, i learned and i keep on moving on. it's a very challenging phase.

i've learned a lot. aside from the fact that i have my won family, a hubby and 2 girls, parang mabilis akong nag-mature sa mga bagay-bagay, but of course, i cant still take-off ang pagiging kikay...
