finally got my first laptop.. hp dv4 1225dx.. bronze color niya.. ok naman maliwanag.. hindi ko lang alam kung paano iadjust yung brightness

mga issues ako sa hp laptop ko: grabe uminit, mabigat, nagkcrash every once in a while (recently dumadalas), sira na battery (less than 1 hour na lang and extended to), nasira na yung adapter (bumili na ako ng replacement lang)

granted that it's a year old and super nagamit ko naman siya ng todo. siguro hindi muna hp bibilhin ko next time and i won't spend too much on upgrading later on. feeling ko 1 year lang talaga life span sa akin kahit normally 2 years. grabe naman kasi yung gamit ko. more than 12 hours every day.

balak ko bumili ng hp laptop/netbook na pamalit dun sa compaq laptop ko na ang bigat bigat. pang internet, word, excel and powerpoint lang naman. any suggestion?

sis, mabuti ka pa umaabot pa ng less than 1 hr. sa akin naku.. swerte na kung umabot pa ng 5-10min. nakakainis!

Just wanna ask to those with Compaq lappies. Hindi ba masyadong umiinit yung laptop ninyo when you're watching movies or rather HD quality videos?

I can't watch HD quality videos masyado. I'm always on power saver mode para di masyado maiinit but the playback is bad. I have to switch to at least balanced power mode to enjoy watching in HD. Problem ko lang umaabot ng 90+ degrees and cpu temp ko. Minsan nagwawarning na na CPU overheat. =(

yun sa kin hindi naman nag ooverheat. Inaangat ko kasi yun llikod para mag circulate ang hangin. tsaka kung pwede, tinatapatan ko ng electric fan. yun sa friend ko nga mga 24hours nakabukas halos everyday pero hindi naman nag ooverheat. 1 year na nyang ginagawa yun sa laptop nya...

Hi sisses, I have my HP Dv5 Notebook for less than a week now, practically a freebie cause my sister can't use it anymore. I'm worried that it might overheat lang kasi matagal ko ginagamit so I'm going to buy a laptop cooler for it soon.

i have a v3500 series.. it's been with me for a year already and now i'm selling it because i'm planning to buy a macbook.. so far, never had major problems with it..

I bought an HP Pavillon dv4 two months ago. After one week, a green flickering light appeared on the task bar. Then I noticed that everyday, the line gets thicker. So i brought it to HP service center last week. 4 to 6 months pa raw bago makuha, they are replacing the LCD, which they will order from middle east. Grabe, 6 months?!!! pag nakuha ko na ulit laptop, old technology na, sa HP naluma. It was a waste of money. I heard that a lot of people have had similar problems. Factory defective lcd.

there are hundreds of sites out there, both international and local, that if i cite all the urls, kulang pa ang buong thread. - lots of people with same problem, galit na galit na yung mga tao noh. Looks like the quality has really declined sharply. So, if you are buying an HP/Compaq, keep the factory defect issue in mind, and beware.

Naku! Buti naman yun sa kin kahit sa online seller ko lang nabili atleast wala naman factory defect.(so far)... 4 months na sa kin to pero wala pa naman lumalabas na problema. Parang mas nakakatakot pa pala kung bibili ka sa mall, lagi may problema...

Pansin ko dun sa blog na yun, puro Compaq CQ40 na model ah. Eh eto pa naman yun mabili sa market kasi mura at maganda na ang specs.

@sis nightingale i had the same problem with my former CQ40 laptop nung dalhin ko sa service center nila sa baguio napalitan naman agad yung LCD 4 days lang ata ang hinintay ko.. madami ngang nagrereklamo na deffective ang LCD ng Compaq CQ40 ewan ko ba kung bakit di sila nag-pull out ng models nun kasi halata naman na batch deffect ang nangyari  buti na lang nabenta ko na yung akin kahit di naman na bumalik yung flickering line nya nung mapalitan ang lcd..


sabi ko di na ako bibili ng hp/compaq pero naglalaway ako sa HP Mini 311 ngayon na bagong netbook ng HP ang ganda kasi at nvidia ion LE ang graphics nya    my brother already got me acer AO751h with an 11.6inch lcd also pero balak kong ibenta pag nakuha ko na para makabili ng HP Mini 311

Sis, I have B1285TU and ganyan din always ang lumalabas. I've only used it probably less than a dozen times because of that. Nung una naayos nila but took almost 3 weeks. The LCD and motherboard were replaced. The second time hindi ko na naibalik doon.

ganun bakit naman pinalitan ang lcd at motherboard? kasi yung sa akin feeling ko lang software lang kaylangan siguro kasi kapag nasystem restore ko nabalik naman nagana yung camera..pero diko sure ha..gagawin ko nalang bili nalang ako ng seperate camera bahala na

^the HP tech checked it and since nawala talaga yung cam sa device manager list he said kailangan daw palitan ang lcd since nandun yung cam. nung pinalitan, wala pa rin. so next option is to change the motherboard. wala pa rin. so last resort sabay pinalitan yung dalawa. buti na lang nadetect na ulit. but i wasted around 3 weeks just for this...

ngayon nga pala gamit ko muna mobiola webcam cellphone ko webcam ko muna..ok naman din mabilis thru bluetooth cia

kasama ba sa warranty period yung batteries mga sis? kasi when i had a defective lcd and sent it to be repaired (one month waiting time grabe), pag balik sakin, ang bilis na maubos ng battery ko. ngayon 20 minutes palang, kahit fully charged, bigla nalang namamatay so I removed the battery muna kasi several times na nangyari, baka yung laptop pa mismo yung masira.
