really, p3t3r? yaiks.. ang laki naman ng magagastos ko pala if ever sa HP pa rin ang bagsak ko.

what if parang tatapalan lang siya? will that work ba? kasi 6mos nang ganito ang status ng laptop ko, so far working pa naman ang monitor ko.

pag nagkataon hayaan ko na lang eto hanggang sa matuluyan na hehe.

sakin battery ang problem ko kasi wala pang isang month na gamit ko ayaw na mag charge ng battery

hi sis! im planning to buy a laptop in Hk preferably HP coz i heard its cheap dw.. around 12 inch lang n les dan php50k please.. do you know any model of hp that i can buy there? that's cheaper than buying it here? haha .. i heard there are additional taxes that i have to pay daw.. how much kaya un? n can i avoid those taxes?

haay... seems like my webcam is not working again. and it's not listed in the device manager. baka hardware problem na naman. grr! sa mga may built-in webcam nagkakaproblem ba kayo ng ganito?

also, when i adjust my lcd, a usb device not recognized warning keeps on popping up (my drivers are properly installed). do you think this is related to the webcam problem?

huhu... i don't wanna bring this to the service center again at baka matagalan na naman bago ko makuha.

that depends on your specs...
wag mo na problemahin ang taxes.. cause wala naman pag dating mo dito.
iHand carry mo lang.

if you are an average user (e.g. office applications, basic operations, ..) you'll find HP Pavillion dv4t Series very good.

im sure nasa warranty yan..
dalhin mo kaagad sa service center, papalitan nila ang battery mo.
Just bring you O.R. wag mo na patagalin.

i just bought my new laptp... its name is happy ( my happiness for now.. hehe...) its a compaq cq20-205tu.. nice sya for a 12.1in.. its less than xxxk..

^^that's the same laptop my sister's planning to buy. So how's the performance of your 'happy'? What kind of batt. did it come with it, a 4 cell or a 6 cell? Have you upgraded the RAM?

Ugh. I have officially developed an aversion to HP/Compaq laptops two days ago when my HP TX1000 tablet pc refused to turn on. And what timing, a couple of months after the one year limited warranty expired this had to happen. Double ugh. I was still hoping to be able to use it if/when the technicians are able to fix the problem, but the dealbreaker happened when the tech guy gestured towards a line of Compaqs (yung medyo recent lang yung may malaking "q" ata na symbol sa lid) and Pavillions that had busted motherboards. Napansin daw nila in the recent months puro yun daw ang dumadating sa shop.

Ano ba naman yan diba. Kung maayos pa ito, ibebenta ko na agad at hanap ng ibang brand na mas maaasahan ko - preferably Intel processor, ayoko na rin ng AMD nagsisisi na ako - or kung hindi na talaga maayos..ewan ko.. 15k din yung motherboard nung akin...baka ipakilo ko na ito.. kaasar.

Hello. Is there anyone here who is a longtime Presario V3000 series user? Do you guys have problems with its built in wifi?

Kasi ganito yun, my laptop's wifi suddenly stopped working one time. Hindi sya madetect. So I have to use a wifi usb pa. Dinala ko sa SST laptops (tama ba? repair center ng laptops) pero sabi nila wala na daw repair yun kasi talagang sakit na ng model ko yun. Suggestion nila, usb wifi or mini pci wifi.

Ayoko ng usb wifi kasi eyesore (but that's what I'm using now). So I bought this from the internet kasi wala daw dito sa pinas nun (wala nga nung naghanap ako).

Tapos binalik ko sa repair, sabi mali daw yung part. I searched the internet pero puro ganun ang binibigay sa kin. Anyway, to make the long story short, wala pa rin akong replacement part. Parang nag-aalangan ako isurrender sa HP repair center kasi I need this machine everyday and wala na tong warranty, based sa mga nabasa ko, ang mahal nila sumingil (as in mas mahal pa sa laptop ko).

So, what do you guys suggest? Meron ba kayong lam na replacement part na mabibilhan? Salamat.

She had 2gig extra ram installed so 3 gig all in all, she wants dual OS kase. She's lucky kase dami rin freebies ang nakuha nya.

those who have cq20 or cq40 laptops, ok ba ang webcam ninyo? wala bang problems kayong naencounter? i'm thinking of selling my b1200 series lappie kasi. my webcam has failed me twice. baka kasi same rin sa cq series eh...

^sis sa nakita ko mas ok ang cam ng cq20 kesa sa cq40. Medyo grainy kase yung sa CQ40 e. Anyway in what way did your webcam fail you?
