Using the husband's surname, will you or will you not?

nkktamad lang? actually you'll need those handy sometime in the future. why get married if ayaw mo din pala gamitin ang surname nya? Alam mo naman sa union of marriage, kasali talaga ang mga bagay na yan. Lalo na dadating ang araw na magkakaanak kyo anda of course gagamitin nila ang surname ng husband mo (although they can use yours only they wont have middle initial like yours, kc if you give them that, lalabas n magkapatid kyo at indi mag-ina). Hindi kya sila malito kung tanungin sila ng tao bakit magkaiba ang surname mo at ang surname nila? come to think of it, yung nakakatamad na pagpapalit ng documents indi mo habang buhay na gagawin un, maybe a day or two lang. hehe. i know you got my point.

I adapted my hubby's surname, pero now, parang sana na lang hinyphenated ko na lang, since gusto ko ang Surname ko nung single pa ako.

oo, i used his last name.  though i must admit mas ok pakinggan maiden name ko, i still used his.  kasi it's also one way of showing your hubby na proud ka to be his wife.

when i asked hubby nga kung if ever di ko ginamit ang last name nya, magtatampo ba sya or not?  sabi nya, definitely magtatampo sya kasi kasal na kami tapos parang ayaw ko gamitin last name nya.

ayun, gamit ko naman last name and ok na naman, i get used to my "new" name.

I'm still using my maiden name, kahit sa mga govnt IDs.
payag [textspeak!] si hubby, dahil napagusapan na namin yun before kami ikasal. btw 2 years na kaming married.

I am using it since day one, sabi ni atty it doesnt matter sa girl if she uses her husband name or not, valid pa din sa contract.

alam ko na na offend si hubby dahil hindi ko ginagamit ang surname nya. masyado kasing ordinary ang family name nya while sa akin parang distinct. at saka hindi naman batas na sundin mo family name ni husband.

to compensate na lang kapag nag oorder ako online, ginagamit ko family name nya.

yes, i'll be using my hubby's surname kaso at magpapalit din ako ng signature kaso hindi ko pa masimulan kasi dami pa papers na aayusin eh which im just starting pa lang.

Hay ako... yung parent's ko nakikiusap na huwag ko muna gamitin surname ni hubby kasi hindi chinese surname...

Si hubby... gusto niya gamitin ko surname niya once na ikasal na kami sa pinas ( church wedding )

Although kasal na kami ( civil ) gamit ko parin surname ko dahil nga sa request ng parents ko.

when filling up forms im using hubby's surname... haba naman kasi kung hyphenated pa.. same in the office pero sa email hyphenated cause not all people especially client doesn't know im already married cause they say im too young.. haha..

but i did changing surname sa office 1 month after the wedding 2 days pa lang kasi nangungulit na si hubby kung ginagamit ko na daw ba surname nya.. well his surname sounds good than mine but i love my maiden name..
