Using the husband's surname, will you or will you not?

I'd like to keep my surname.

BUT, I do think it's sweet to use my future husband's surname. Saka, ang haba kasi ng surname ko. Pano na kung mahaba yung surname niya? Haha, lagot na. Oh well, matagal pa yan. I still have a long time to decide.

just got married and i plan to retain my father's surname since 2 letters lang din naman  hyphenated na lang then my husband's surname

il definitely use his surname, after all its a part of getting married, you have to become one . . that includes using his last name.

I hyphenate, since I established a career using my surname.  But what is frustrating with our government (SSS and DFA, especially) and (some of our) banks is that they refuse to adopt my hyphenated surname!  That is the law for goodness' sake!  Our government really sucks!  They do not implement their own laws.

i am using my hubby's surname, na-excite nga ako eh after we got married, syempre i got to change my signature na rin 

pero wives may or may not use their hubby's surname.  can either retain your surname or hyphenated nalang, your surname hyphen your hubby's surname.  ako nga since i just got married, nag-hyphen muna ako.. pero later on yung surname nalang ni hubby ang gagamitin ko.

why should it be a slap in his face?  sometimes, i use my maiden name, sometimes his last name, sometimes mine hyphen his - especially if an id will be required, i don't have an id with hubby's last name.

^^you can use your last name too... i noticed this with doctors and lawyers, kahit matagal na silang married, some still use their full maiden names.

i think i would retain my surname. i hate my soon to be in-laws, and besides, my last name sounds better.
