add some parmesan cheese..and you can also substitute your nuts w/walnuts or peANuts for pine nuts if you're just trying out the recipe first.

ako rin, i super duper love Pesto... pero i do my pesto with tuna and a little bit spicy.. just to encourage yung mga tao sa bahay to eat it...

Ingredients:
Basil Leaves (1 pack at shopwise costs around Php26 lang)
Garlic
Olive Oil
Hot & Spicy Century Tuna (drained)
Parmesan Cheese

Chop lots of garlic sa food processor, and also the basil.  Tapos in a pan, sautee your garlic sa olive oil, then pag medyo luto na sha, i put the tuna in, then dudurugin ko yung tuna.  After a while, ihahalo ko na ang basil leaves.. tapos simmer a little bit, then add the parmesan... =) then, lalagyan ko ng konting chili powder para medyo spicy... ayun lang... lasang pesto naman sha. hehe...

i saw wahine's recipe. it's that easy lang pala. believe me... i have no idea that it's not being cooked pala. purely chopping huh?! engots talaga! hehe...

thanks for the recipe sis. i hope i could make one like that in aveneto. but instead of chicken strips as toppings, i'll try your fave tuyo. ;)

what if we dont have a food processor at home? how can we chop up the basil and garlic mixture? ok din ba yung binibili nalang na pesto mixture sa groceries? para tapos agad ;)

^Kung wala kayong processor, pwede mortar & pestle.  It's the traditional way of doing pesto.
