^^ follow up question mga sis, if you're denied of a visa, what do you think is much wiser to do: to appeal or to not appeal? ano ba mga consequences kapag nag-appeal ka? or if you don't make an appeal and you plan to apply again for a visa after 6 mos, high risk ka na ba talaga for visa refusal again kahit sa ibang embassy ka na magapply since mate-trace nila na you were denied of a visa before? may mga nakaexperience na ba ng ganun? pls share naman. TIA.

^^sis , pang US visa lang yung 6 months re-application. For schengen visa no time period is given. One can appeal the decision though, check the link below for each schengen state's procedure for appeal:

^^sis, when you said no time period is given for re-application for schengen visa, does this mean you can apply any time after you were denied of the visa to a different embassy naman? i read the link you gave with regards on the procedure for the appeal but it's still quite confusing as to where will i send my appeal? no specific address was given naman.

di ba i need to get travel/hotel reservation sa travel agency? dapat kase merong Travel itinerary, Travel reservation and Proof of lodging.

di ba usually, pag nagpareserve, i need to pay the ticket na din within 1week. otherwise macacancel lang din yun?

confused lang ako kase paano pag pinresent ko sa embassy yun sa Sept7? malalaman ba nila kung kelan ko need to pay the airfare tickets? 3weeks processing kase sa Austrian Embassy. dun ko pa lang malalaman if im approved or denied. so definitely, yung pinresent kong travel reservations, macacancel din yun. and i need to get another one diba...

^ay bakit ganuna sis? kasi sa travel agency na gamit ko, they don't have naman that 1-week deadline. kasi hindi naman talaga ako papayag na iissue yung ticket ng wala pang visa, mamaya madeny, o eh di ang laking problem pa. try to switch travel agencies kaya?

^will try to look for another travel agency... also, nung nag ask ako  sa kanila ng hotel bookings, they said i need to pay the hotel in full na agad. but when i backread dito sa thread, some hotels do not require payment agad... sis, can u pm me your travel agency? tia!

My travel agency renewed my booking while were waiting for my visa results. Wala naman obligation to buy like what katiztic said.

I think promo fare yun offered to iyo. When we applied for the schengen visa sa Italian embassy, our option date for the promo fare was about to expire and the travel agency told us that we need to pay na otherwise, ma-cacancel ito sa system and the higher fare will be available.   but we did not present to the embassy any ticket.  we provided them yun parang e-ticket which showed our flight details.  On the hotel naman, we did not present any pre-paid hotel booking as well.  but i had to pre-pay the hotel booking kasi promo rate din.  sugal talaga when we decided to pay even if la pa yun visa.  buti na approved lahat

i will present my business permit, SEC registration and ITR. will they get the original or they just need to see it tapos photocopy lang kukunin nila?

if i get denied, will they return all the docs or they keep it?

Just show the originals and have photocopies on standby. Sometimes kasi they don't ask for them naman.

Had my interview at the French Embassy last Aug 17, was asked to come back today Sept 1 for releasing, then when I went today they took my passport and was asked again to come back tomorrow to get it.

Ganito ba talaga?

^Baka nag-iba na procedure nila or may backlog kaya? When we got our visa way back in 2008, same day din namin nakuha yung passport namin. Bale dinikit lang nila yung visa sa passport.

Weird lang kasi sabi nung visa officer when she interviewed me malalaman agad when I get back. Maybe down lang din yung system or as you said may backlog. Kaloka another day of agony waiting to know the results hehe.

i was in austrian embassy this morning. submitted all the docs and a bit of q&a. then, i need to wait 3weeks for the result. hay, sana approved.

^me naman sis I had my interview today at the Dutch Embassy.I'm being sponsored by my boyfriend and was told to come back after 14 days for the results.Kinakabahan ako not until I get the results.But the positive thing is my boyfriend will arrive on the 26th so we'll pick it up together on the 29th and if denied we can appeal kasi andito naman siya.

Really sis?Sakin naman hindi.Ewan ko ba pero I'm not confident mahirap kasi umasa although I'm in and out of Europe because of my job (seafarer).I was also granted 2 multiple entry schengen visas before dahil sa work ko naman sa Qatar pero kahit na ganun me kaba pa rin ako.Hindi me makampante not until I get my passport with the visa

austrian embassy texted me today. it says my passport with visa is ready for pick na. so it means i was approved right? or???

ang bilis lang pala. my appointment was last sept 7 lang. talaga bang thru text lang sila nag iinform? can't wait to get my passport na. hays... sana lunes na...

sis, i think if your bf has a job and is earning more than 1400 (net) euro pero month, then it's no problem. the dutch embassy has no reason of denying your visa.
