for the duration, it's really up to you kung mag full load ka or ilang units lang. I'm not sure ilang units lahat eh. next year ko pa kasi masisimulan yung sped ko.

i took my LET last August 2005.. kung hindi nagbago ang sked since then, malamang August din ang sked ng LET for this year. Then October ang labas ng results.

sis i finished my 4 yrs course then i also finished my 18 units pero di pa ako nagtatake ng let exam.is that ok to take sped

Regarding sa tuition, very affordable, public school rate pero the education/professors are the best.

sis bulec...ang SPED, i checked the PNU website would have 24 units(sis..kung mey updates sa hindi ko alam, pa correct na lang ako) . regarding the time you'll be spending. depende sayo yun. kung mag full load ka or hindi.since graduate study naman ang sped, hawak mo oras mo.

How long before you finish studying SPED? Depende po sa mga factors: units you'll take per sem, availability of the Subjects under SPED, fulltime or part time student po ba?

Nung nag part time student ako (every saturdays), the units that ill take is still to be approved by the adviser or prof kasi madaming working students na during the semester eh pala absent due to their work hanggang sa magdrop na lang...

39 units in all. (37 kung walang thesis)
   3 units = 1 subject. for the entire day, usually 3 subjects ang kaya (3hrs each kasi).
   im not sure kung yung grad studies nila pede m-f. right now kasi sat classes ako.
   so that means every sat, pede ka mag 3 subjects buong araw. each sem, 3 subjects matatapos mo.

yes, pede ka enroll anytime...meron 2nd sem nagsimula. ako nung summer lang.

sis, inquire ka sa kanila. 5270364. it would be better to ask the school, bakakasi mey mamiss ako.

thnx sis...mdyo nga matagal iyun wala ba silang short courses na innofer for cetification [textspeak!] parang ganun mga 6 months tutal nakakkuha na naman ako ng 18 units

I'm working in a call center for more than three years now and medyo nakakasawa na yung papalit palit ng shift. Pinagusapan lang namin ni Mommy to kanina, what if I'll be a teacher instead kahit sa high school man lang.

So 18 units pala ang kukunin and then LET after. Kahit ba private high school ganon pa rin ba?

And anong suggestion niyong school UP ba talaga mas maganda or PNU?

And sa nagpost po na pwedeng magtake ng TESOL along cor Buendia and Makati Ave., sang school po yun? And if you also have the contact details pakiPM na lang poko.

hi sis..i guess the school really depends...location and budget. nag PNU ako kasi yun ang pinaka malapit sakin.

some school accept teachers kahit wala educ background and LET. i have many classmates in school na ganun. teachers na sila...ngayon lang nag eeduc. of course, mas mababa ang sweldo nun.

sigurado ka na ba mag turo? hindi kasi biro eh. there will always be advantages and disadvantages to everything.

start calling schools, sis..inquire ka magkano ang mga per unit.

I'm also thinking of the salary siyempre medyo nasanay na ako sa mataas na sweldo. Pero ayaw ko na rin ng call center.

Man! I really have to think about this. Siyempre sayang naman ang panahon, pagod at pera.

^true.right now i work for a bank, call center department. but as a trainer. saka ko lang na realize that i like teaching pala. 

ilang months na lang...resign na ako. and i'll officially start my life as a teacher. 
laki talaga ng sacrifice. pero iba pala talaga tawag ng passion for teaching 

another option is to take up masters. that will increase your value. in any career naman...pati sa education.

basta make sure na gusto mo talaga mag turo. try mo muna. kasi di talaga biro maging teacher.
