Anyone who knows may answer my question..   Do I need to be certified as an educator if I wish to teach children in kinder?

^i think it will depend on your course... if you are a psych grad or any science course, i think training lang yata... but then if youre just going to teach art or music, wala namang masyadong requirements...

to those asking me about our company, sorry po pero puno na kami ngayon... baka by december ulit when the students start coming again...

Sabi ng mom ko who has been a professor since forever, pag may 2 nag-aapply daw for a teaching position, [textspeak!] isa may licenses/education units pero cant even speak in straight english; the other one, no licenses but with excellent communication skills, mas papaboran daw [textspeak!] latter.

A friend naman who was a former teacher said na pag nagustuhan ka daw ng school, and may inspection ang DepEd or something, school [textspeak!] gagawa ng paraan to fake your licenses.

No sis, depende sa aapplyan mo. Kung qualified ka, may mga school and universities na tumatanggap kahit walang licenses. Pero i think, mas maluwag sila kung sa pre-school or lower level and tuturuan mo.

Meron ba ditong sumubok na mag-apply as teacher sa asian schools (singapore, hong kong).. kung lilipat ako ng bansa gusto ko either singapore or hong kong, di ko lang sure kung may demand for english teachers dun..

Hay im so excited. Nag apply ako sa International School. English teacher for Grade 1 students. I had my initial interview, demo teaching and interview with the school principal. Pinapabalik uli ako for another interview (ewan ko na kung kanino this time, medyo malabo [textspeak!] kausap ko  )

Weird nga eh, Modesty aside ha, I was able to talk to the other teachers there, di naman excellent comm skills nila.. (weird lang, kase IS nga yun) 

anyway, wala din po ako licenses, etc etc. Not an Education grad. But the principal told me, I am still being considered. . and that I could study after a year of teaching.

My work involves students- but not necessarily teaching. The pay is good and the University pays masteral degree.. But one thing I can say in teaching college students, you really have to be very patient with them.

I am a frustrated teacher, gusto ko [textspeak!] magturo before pako gumraduate nung college, kaya i took immediately education units sabay ng course ko at last year I continued it, nakuha ko na yung 18 units except yung practicum saka LET. Hindi ko na siya natuloy kasi busy na sa corporate world eh. Saka am quite hesitant sa salary. What's the average salary of teachers now a days
Ive heard its like 9k to less than 15k ata. Its like 3x half of what i am getting now.

ang experience ko lang kasi so far trainer for adults eh...ang layo! pero gusto ko mag turo ng kids...

I was offered 17k. Pero tataas daw yun pag may LET na ko. Thats also so much less than what Im getting now. Pero okay lang. Daming holidays na walang pasok and may summer vacation. Wohoo     Oh and fulfilling.

sis..mey mga educ units din sa PNU and UP. yung SPED, meron din sa PNU. inquire ka lang sa mga schools. sa PNU nga lang yung napag inquiran ko na pinaka affordable
