I really want to study Spanish kaso yung Instituto naman sa Ermita. Eh medyo shunga pa naman ako pagpunta dun. 

Meron pa bang ibang magandang schools na located in MAKATI that offers Spanish class?

Alliance Francaise is offering beginner French inside Insituto Cervates en Manila.

i have been studying french for 2 years na. The key to being fluent is really to practice speaking it even if you take these courses tapos di mo napapractice yung language sayang din. I suggest especially for those studying beginner's level, the UP European Languages department's extramural classes is so worth it. Cheaper than Alliance and they follow the same modules. 24 hours of french class for P2000 (I dunno if it increased recently, I studied there last year). In Alliance the cheapest rate (24 hr class din) would be P3300. I improved my accent (with the help of my teacher there) so much that my French friend said I have a good French accent already. I just have to practice more on vocabulary building.

Sis how much ang tuition nila for French Major? and paano [textspeak!] schedule everyday ba or once a week lang??

gusto ko po matuto ng fookien and then mandarin. pure pinay ako. and pure chinese hubby. visayan language and chinese ang mode of communication sa side ni hubby. im a stay at home full time mom. any recom?

sis mom.of.inchikoy, for mandarin i would recommend the confucius institute, the are tied up with ateneo.  ok naman sila and the instructors are good kaya hindi nagiging boring yung class.  im currently talking the basic 1 and i have one week to go na lang.  ang dami kong natutunan.  tuition is 3,800 and the book is 400 and the audio cd is 380.  you can choose to get the book lang or the cd.  ako kasi kinuha ko na both.

sis angelicious, try UP Diliman's Department of European Languages. IIRC, they have basic courses in Spanish, French, German, Italian, and Portuguese. pag summer term may daily sessions; pag ganitong regular school year weekends ang classes nila. they have morning and afternoon sessions.

ako i studied japanese sa ncf (nihongo center foundation). basic pa lang ang natapos ko, and im planning to continue... masaya magaral ng different language, lalo na kapag may passion ka, yung gustong-gusto mo talaga..

Just one quick question..

I'm planning to enroll french language in UP. Pwede bang mag enroll kahit wala pang kaalam alam sa kahit anong French words? Baka kase [textspeak!] ibang nageenroll may alam na kahit basic.

[textspeak!] baba niya metrobank? btw sis.. sa Chiang Kai Shek College ako nagaaral meron nga daw sila inooffer na speaking in chinese .. sa nakikita ko every sat lang siya around 8am [textspeak!] up to mga 11 30 or 12nn ata.. im not sure kasi bastaang alam ko lang everytime na pumapasok ako ng room nadadaanan ko sila ang it seems na 2 rooms ata sakop nila i think one's for the basic and the others for advance im not that sure pero for more infos call nalang kayo sa Chiang kai Shek College (high school) dun kasi [textspeak!] main campus.. dun kayo mag inquire eto [textspeak!] number its.. 252-6161 to 67 or 252-6165 ask niyo nalng the operator to connect you to the language center.. at dun na [textspeak!] kayo maginquire for more details kasi hindi ko masyado alam [textspeak!] kalakaran.. its fun learning chinese pero i would recommend  sa mga ss na medyo may kaya na sa china na kayo magaral.. kasi mas ok talaga pag dun me and friends nga are planning to go there after graduation.. kasi meron daw school sa china [textspeak!] for 6months magaaral ka hindi ko lang sure kung for lannguage ba siya it self or may iba pa.. pero for sure matututo ka dun kasi gagamit at gagamit ka talaga dun ng chinese when conversing with the people there.. hindi kasi lahat ng chinese dun marunong magenglish..

^^ sis angelicious, that's what the basic level actually is for, to introduce you to the language. it would be best though to read up at least (browse your books, dictionary, listen to audio clips, etc.) before you actually go to class to give you a head start.

im almost done taking basic french in alliance.. and i realized that i have more passion for german. lol german talaga mas gusto kong aralin noon pa.. sarap lang talaga pakinggan ng french. i wanna be fluent in both though.. pero mas dapat nga talaga unahin kung nasan passion mo para di sayang sa pera. natatamad na ako sa french ko eh. tsk.
