hello everyone! nice to to know that madami din palang techies dito sa GT.

is there anyone who can teach a step by step procedure on how to use LIQUIFY/ PUCKER in photoshop? ang hirap eh! kinakapa ko lang sya. no books or manuals at all.... please help....please mga sis!

I dont know if PS 6 is just like CS2. Pero kasi sa cs2, pwede kang gumamit ng magnetic lasso tool na meron din naman sa PS 6. Also, combine the features like warp or transform. I have this book na binili which is [textspeak!] Photoshop CS2 by Colin Smith. Maganda ang gui niya and very helpful for beginners out there. I cant afford to be online kasi for online tutorials--im only using dial-up connection hehe

^^Liquify is a filter in Photoshop na pede mo imanipulate ang shape ng isang image manually. You have to select the layer wherein you will perform luquification, and if you need to select just a portion of the the image within the layer, select it using tha marquee tool. Be sure to add feather on your selection (you can do this by selecting SELECT and FEATHER from your taskbar or shift+F6 as shortcut). And then, select FILTER and LIQUIFY and there you go! You can use the tools inside to manipulate your image. Hope this helped =)

^^I believe Photoshop CS and CS2 are the only versions with liquify. Suggestion, if you want to edit an image para pumayat, you can use the CLONE tool or the CUT and PASTE method. You can also use transform, as sis yojir here mentioned, pero dpat din unti untiin mo para di masira the rest of the image. Advice ko lang sa mga nageedit, be sure to keep an original image, like duplicating the original layer and working on the duplicate para madali nyo mabalik balikan [textspeak!] originals nyo =)

I want to upload all of the psd files na tapos ko na sa isnag website.Tried it in friendster pero di naman tinatanggap ang format. I have myspace, pero di rin kasama sa list of formats nila ang psd. So in the end, I have to convert them into jpeg's jpg's before i can upload them pero [textspeak!] psd's ko nanduon pa rin sa pc.

What can I do? Ayaw ko kasing mawala [textspeak!] original file baka kasi in the future i might need them pa rin and siyempre nanduon na [textspeak!] mga layers niya.

Mero bang site na pwedeng i-upload ang mga psd's or ano ang pwedeng work-around dito?

question [textspeak!] po kasi im working on an idea, sa photoshop ba pwede iconvert ang isang photo into a cartoony type? Anong twag sa ganung effect?
ive been googling kanina pa and i cant seem to explain it properly in the right design terms, kaya un, di ko mahanap

i think you're talking about vectors. vector art.

you can't instantly convert a photo into a vector picture. there are a lot of tutorials available on the web. try www.vexels.net

Pwede rin po ba ang photoshop for creating logos? Paano po ba ito? may site po ba on how you can business cards with a specified logo na sa photoshop. Like kunwari, logo ng Microsoft para sa isang business card. Ano po ba ang height and width nito sa photoshop? Ano ang font size at ano ang mga paper na ginagamit dito?

sis psych madita, what softwares are availbale for you to use? If youre trying to vectorize an image, you can either import it on your freehand or corel draw (not sure about this, though) or adobe illustrator. There is a tool there available sa toolbox, the trace tool. You can always try the HELP command if ever yu wanna search or ask for something. When you find it, you can customize your options according to your desired result. If you're not satisfied with the result, you can try it the hard way, like manually tweaking your image. That is, if this is what you are trying to say =)

Anyway for searchers of nice tutorials, try searching for RUSSELL BROWN's website in google. You can find a lot of tips there. You can even download podcasts if youre using iTunes =)

mga sis, tanong lang ininstall ko kasi yung bago kung photo sho pro photo XI but before yun meron akong gimp. ang nangyari noong mageedit na ako ng picture using gimp ayaw na lumabas. ok naman pag yung photo shop, ulead, photo filtre ginagamit ko. bat yung gimp lang ayaw gumana? dati noong ala ako photo shop ok lahat yung image editor ko.

anyway, natutuwa akong gamitin psp

nakakaaliw yung mga manipulation.

you did a good job in vectoring your picture..

i use photoshop too but not that often..
