^ agree. sobrang eto yung downside ng CS2. di sya pwede basta basta sa kahit anong pc. sobrang dami kasing features, so you really have to be ready for the "demands" this program has.

pero love ko yung batch processing function nya. perfect for resizing a bunch of pics for presentations.

i know!!! kaya i switched back to v7.

...newbie lang sa photoshop editing...so i decided to do it horizontally, til i discover na yung distort ->shear for vertical lang pala. question, how can i make like a wave-y effect na pang horizontal so that maganda effect dun sa film border? meron bang ganun? thanks thanks

try to rotate the layer to make it horizontal : edit > transform > rotate 90 deg CCW
then shear: filter > distort > shear
before rotating the layer back to horizontal: edit > transform > rotate 90 deg CW

^ i don't know how to put the explanation in a more technical sense, pero well, simply put, yung layers is parang different components (sheets kumbaga) that you put on top of each other (not necessarily saktong magkapatong) to get the entire image....it was created to make it easier to "remove" or modify layers na you may want changed/removed later on to edit your image. parang ganun hehe im sure someone could explain this better

i find layers especially useful when i export my photoshop files into premiere when i edit. hay, the gift of complete suites from software companies!

Hmm... I think of layers as being like those body illustrations in encyclopedias - each system (ex. digestive, circulatory, etc) is printed on clear plastic so when you look at them all together, it shows the complete body.

i started reading adobe photoshop sa google [textspeak!], i can't seem to find any tutorials on how to edit the parts of your body. Puro sa faces ng...can anyone help me? I want to know how to edit the tummy area, to make it look slimmer/sexier?

have a question to those who use adobe ImageReady.

everytime i'd save my work as a gif file it wouldnt open when i'd preview it.

ino-optimize ko naman bago i-save and i'd even save it as .psd muna.

pero kunyari, open na sa labas ng adobe, like sa windows picture and fax viewer, it'd say na drawing failed.

any help? thanks in advance!

Im into photoshop din. As of now, im in a colourization craze. Yun yung turning black & white or grayscaled images into coloured ones. There are examples in my deviant art account: http://purplink.deviantart.com

Guys, if you want, I can teach how to colorize. Di kasi ako magaling when it comes to blending so eto lang muna pwede ko maturo. Just tell me para malista ko ang steps. Basta when it comes to photoshop  just be patient and learn to experiment. Just read tutorials lang and in no time, matututo ka na rin.

Tips: If you want to make retoke, use the liquify tool to change your shape. Ex: making your waistline tiny or making your bust bigger. The healing tool is also very useful for removing blemishes and making your skin look flawless.

im just browsing now about photoshop, and so far ikaw lang ang nagmention about retoke, hehe. so i hope you wont mind me asking....(clueless po ako when it comes to techy stuff) i just got married recently, and talaga namang ang taba ko sa wedding pictures namin.  i really want to learn sana how to make myself slimmer using photoshop. unfortunately, i only have here in my PC yung photoshop 6.0 and Image Ready 3.0. pewde ba itong gamitin? kasi hanap ako ng hanap ng liquify tool --wala yata eh. hope you can shed light into this....would appreciate it so much....salamat!
