hi I cooked Tuna fettucine last night and masarap po siya.  Ubos nga agad eh.

here's what I did:

Ingredients:

1 nestle all purpose cream
1/2 cup water
1 and 1/2 cans century tuna (Flakes in vegetable oil) - drained
1/2 bar cheddar cheese *I used Magnolia's Cheezy but you can use your preferred cheese like quickmelt, etc.* - grated
2 cloves or 2 butil of garlic - minced
1/4 bar butter

1 pack of San Remo Noodles 500 grams - I cooked only half of this

*Serves 5-6 people

1.  Melt butter in pan over low fire.  Once melted, wait 2 minutes and put the garlic.  Fry til the garlic is golden brown.  Add the tuna.  Fry for 5 minutes over low-medium fire.  Add the cream and the water and cheese.  Mix altogether and continue stirring for five-seven minutes (still over low fire) or til the cheese is all melted.

*If not salty enough, you can add more grated cheese or patis, depends on your choice.

2.  Cook Noodles separately.

3.  Put desired amount of sauce onto the noodles and serve.  You may add grated cheese on top.

Masarap siya, promise!  ubos nga agad eh, I'm cooking uli tonight.  Malakas ang demand, hehe.  Kayo na bahala mag-adjust ng quantity ng ingredients if you want to cook for more than 6 people.  I like this because it's not costly.  And very easy to do. :)

mga sis...ito ang din ang recipe ko for fetuccine.nakaktuwa lang, same pa kami ni sis ng brand ng pASTA! :)

what I do sometimes, pag walang fetuccine sa suprmarket...I use other pasta like yung spiral type( sorry do not know exactly the name) minsan yung elbow mac lang din na medium size...hindi yung pang sopas ha.... :)
sometimes...pag diko feel ang tuna, i alter it with chicken breast strips....bacon/ham..then hindi mawawala ang mushrooms....i also add sa ingredients yung cream of mushroom and chicken cubes....then pepper.....

naku sorry sa late reply....baka nacook mo na to bago ko nakareply hehe

anyway, any tuna variant may do....nasa iyo din kung gusto mo siya isama when you sautee the onion and garlic sa una or as toppings nalang sa sauce. Tuna kasi malansa dba.. hmmm but i prefer as toppings nalang sa cream sauce.... i take off the tuna flakes in oil ( canned tuna to ha) then  gigisa ko muna hiwalay.para yung lansa di gaano. :)

il share lang my recipe for tuna marinara

lots and lots of tomatoes..tapos boiled for 2-3 minutes til mukang madali na peel yun balat then blanch sa ice water para matanggal ang skin..

then saute ng garlic, onions and mushrooms with olive oil.
masarap madaming onions and garlic.

then lagay na yung peeled tomatoes. put evoo or kung wala kahit yung oil ng canned tuna in vegetable oil ilagay ok din.

then put capers or olives.

salt and pepper to taste.

butter for taste and thickness.

and don't forget the basil.

basil + tomatoes = perfecto!

tapos yung fettucini or linguini pasta toss nyo lang sa sauce..

and thats it!

if you want to put parmesan much better..

sarap nyan!!! no need for meat. basta may kamatis ka lang at tuna ok na! solve!! ;D

sisses, hingi ko lang opinion ko. kasi super hilig namin ni bf sa shrimp. I'm just wondering if yung recipe ni sis TheReason, instead of tuna, shrimp ang gamitin? watchathink mga sis? or baka hindi bagay and mag-iba ang lasa?
