Pinanood ko yung latest live stream on her YT channel. Nakakatawa yung part na umiiyak sya while saying natural mas maganda si KC kay Frankie kasi matinee idol tatay nya hahahahaha! so sad for abs and sa lahat ng employees, suppliers at mga tao na maaapektuhan dito. hindi na sa mga artista, kahit papano magiging okay sila. pero pano na lang yung mga matatanda na cameramen or crew? or yung mga employees na specific skill set ang experience? napaka hirap maghanap ng trabaho ngayon. nakakaloka na bir, dole at ibang government agencies na ang nag-clear na walang violation ang abs, bakit denied pa rin? abuse of power talaga. may this be a turning point sa lahat, bumoto na tayo nang tama.

Yes, very obvious the past few years.  Especially during her interview sa TWBA when she cried in front of the mirror.  The realization na hindi na siya as sikat hit her hard siguro. Just like KCA, when everything stopped going her way.

Takeover...NO. Because the company is owned by the Lopez Group, it's their property. Unless, magka martial law or if the government will be able to invent another case against ABS-CBN.

During the congress hearing they raised this issue na illegal daw yung pagbalik ng ABS sa mga Lopez cause di naman daw binayaran ng mga Lopez ang government. So unless someone will push that then ABS-CBN is owned by the Lopez' and no one can takeover.

The government can only legally take their franchise and frequency which are privileges sabi nga nila. 

Based on what I read mukhang yun talaga ang pinupush ng anti ABS-CBN. They're pushing the Lopez' to sell the company so that some employees will still be employed. I doubt that they will sell it.

There are rumors though that a new broadcasting company is being prepared already. So since they can't take the company, they will just get the frequency. The question lang is if that frequency will be as powerful as when ABS-CBN used it. I don't know anything about the technical stuff but what we know is ABS-CBN invested so much in the infrastructure so that their frequency will reach even far flung areas.

Yung frequency ang isang major na nilalaban din ng ABS-CBN. Now na wala silang franchise, NTC can give that frequency to anyone. And if ever man mag reapply ang ABS-CBN ng franchise and ma-grant yun, since wala silang frequency hindi rin sila makakapalabas on free tv and radio. Problem daw is madami ang nagaabang magkaron ng frequency. Some daw have been waiting for years na but wala pa ring frequency lalo na here in Metro Manila which is puno na daw and wala ng mabigay na frequency. This is why hindi na ko magtataka if yan ang reason ng pag deny ng franchise ng ABS-CBN, someone may be interested talaga in getting their frequency.

They only can't operate on free tv and radio because walang franchise. About renewal, pwede daw mag apply ulit next congress.

Because franchise lang nawala sa kanila. They can't stop the company from operating and producing content.

Hindi lang sila pwede magpalabas ulit using their frequency on free tv and radio but they can release their content on the web (iwantTV, Youtube, FB etc). Syempre iba pa rin yung may sarili silang franchise/frequency iba yung reach so higher earnings. By going digital malaki ang mababawas sa earnings ng company so they need to let go some employees.

Another thing that ABS-CBN can do is if may channel na papayag magbenta sa kanila ng block time pwede sila magpalabas sa ibang channel. Example kung magbenta ng time ang channel 5 sa ABS-CBN like Monday-Friday 6am-4pm, ABS-CBN shows can air on Channel 5 during that time slot.

A lot of people kasi are confused as to what the Congress hearing is all about. Hindi sya criminal court where ABS-CBN has to defend and prove that they are not guilty of the accusations. Naungkat lang yung mga violations during scrutiny. It is actually a hearing so that ABS-CBN is given the chance to raise their case as to why they deserving of the PRIVILEGE. Parang ganito lang yan: If you have a daughter and a guy is asking you to marry her. During your interrogation nalaman mo na sketchy ang business practice nya and does not treat his employees well. The question of whether it's true or not isn't the issue. The question is will you allow someone like that to marry your daughter?

^Legally walang nakitang violations. DOJ, BIR, DOLE etc na nagsabi, cleared lahat. Your analogy is really good. It?s like when you have a daughter and a guy asks if he can marry her. Kahit anong proof pa ilabas ng guy, kahit pa 100 testigo ang humarap sayo na he is a good person, if you already have a prejudice against the person hinding hindi  ka maniniwala and you will still choose to believe what you want to believe. ^Sister, ang dami ngang violations na nakita kaya denied at hindi nila nasagot ng maayos. The tax avoidance might be legal. But just because it is legal doesn't mean it's moral. Ang daming dummy companies like Amkara, Big Dipper. May PEZA accreditation pero hindi naman dapat. Yung sa tax, every year nagdedemanda ang BIR dahil hindi sila kusang nagbabayad. What they do is wait for them to get sued because they know that BIR will just end up settling anyways. Kaso dapat daw pala ay at least 40% man lang ng original amount ang bayaran but during scrutiny they were paying only 3.5%. Ang dapat gawin, kasuhan ang BIR, ang PEZA at ang NTC that did not do their jobs.

Well, yes because franchise is still a privilege, not a right. Frequency is a limited resource so dapat lang ibigay dun sa malinis ang papel. They had 25 years to iron out everything? Pwed pa naman silang mag-apply ulit. Pwede rin nilang ibenta, kapag nakakuha na ng franchise, pwede nilang bilhin ulit. There are lots of things they can do. Pero they cross armed the Congress instead. If you are asking for a favor, don't be an ahole kumbaga.

^Eh Sister, pag pinagpaliban kasi di rin sila makakagamit ng frequency kasi expired na yung franchise. It is in the best interest of ABS-CBN for the hearing to continue. Dapat nga daw eh 3 days lang dapat eh tapos na ang hearing kaso ang daming nabulatlat na problema. I was following the hearing quite closely. Agree naman tayo na dapat may kaunting compassion but it's the law that prevents Congress to issue a franchise. The truth is, even if they are granted the franchise. Another hearing pa pala yan kung anong klaseng franchise. Yung dati ba or Super Franchise? They could have prevented this back in 2014 pa lang if they cooperated with the Congress sa mga hinihinging papeles. When they were asked nga sa Congress kung bakit di sila nakipag-cooperate eh kesyo feeling daw nila marami pa silang time. Ano kaya sabi kong sagot yon? Medyo bomalabs! There's a story behind it na nabasa ko before, sangkot si Kristeta...LOL!

Anyways, mabuti na lang din ang mahinahon naman yung ibang celebs kahit panahon ng lahat mataas ng tensyon katulad nina Vice Ganda, Piolo Pascual. Yung hindi nang-aamok ba?

Re: ABS pag medyo pinatagal pa nila yung hearing diyan sa kaso ng abs marami pang mabubulatlat na issue nila, yung Meralco hindi pa sila lusot don. Ang alam ko lang din connected pa ang Lopez sa Meralco kahit napasa or nabenta kung ano man yung term nila diyan kay Manny V. Pangilinan may 80% (not sure chismis lang din ito) something pa raw ang Lopez sa Meralco, yan din daw pinagkukuhanan ng pang sweldo sa mga biggest stars ng abs, correct nyo na lang kasi kahit ako bits by bits lang yung mga nasasagap kong balita. Totoo nga kawawa din mga employees, I feel sorry for them  sana makabangon din sila agad.

^Sis again PREJUCIDE. Hindi nagkaron ng hearing para bigyan ng chance ang ABS-CBN to explain themselves. Even before pa magkaron ng hearing decided na sila to say NO. LEGAL ang basehan sis. We still live in a DEMOCRACY as far as I know. If moral compass ang basehan sa gobyerno baka walang matira sa government officials and institutions natin. Kung moral ang basehan even sa private companies walang matitira.

Even the state run channel PTV4 has contractual employees, they even had a case with COA in the past years because of unsupported documents to prove that they paid the proper salary and benefits of their contractual employees. Until now, may employees sila na Di pa nila nababayaran. Nasan ang moral dun. Isn't it the same with ABS-CBN?

It seems magkaiba din tayo ng nakita sa mga hearings. BIR, DOLE, SEC, NTC....even DOJ na ang nagclear sa ABS-CBN. Walang violations. These are according to institutions/government agencies themselves. In paper lahat, documented. STILL IN DENIAL ang congress because again they already made up their minds. Even to the point na halos binabastos na nila yung mga resource persons ng ABS-CBN.

Sige kasalanan na ng ABS-CBN kung bakit hindi nila inagahan ang pag-apply, kahit na 4 times pa silang nag submit ng application na laging dinedelay ng congress. Isn't it enough that the president said so himself that he will make sure that the Lopez's are out at hindi mare-renew yan. In what world isn't it clear that someone orchestrated all this...for what...we don't know yet. But for sure we will see it soon kung sino ang bibigyan ng frequency. Tapos now pati legality ng ownership is being questioned. In what world isn't it clear that the Lopez owns ABS-CBN then Marcos seized it so di ba MORALLY right lang din na ibalik sa tamang may-ari ang company after martial law? Nasan ang moral dito?

Moral and legal lang if it's convenient to what they want to push?

ABS-CBN is not a perfect company. Walang ganun kahit saang parte ng mundo. But they admitted their mistakes and are correcting it. Why not give them again a chance for the sake of the employees.

The thing is hindi man lang sinaalang alang ng congress ang mawawalan ng trabaho. Not just the employees of ABS-CBN but also other people who benefits from the business that they get from ABS-CBN. Kahit naman yan 2-5 years franchise lang until matapos ang pandemic then after mag hearing sila uli and check if may ginawa ang company na mareform yung mga ayaw nila.

In this time na halos lahat ng company nagiscale down saan hahanap ng trabaho ang mga employees na matatanggal? Sabi ko nga in one of my posts here, kung bibigyan ng regular work yung matatanggal with same benefits and salary then sige na ipasara nila.

Yung iba galit na galit sa ABS kahit hindi nila naiintindihan nangyayari ito pa I have cousin na sobra kung magdiwang akala nila ABS CBN sa metro manila matatamaan hindi nila naisip regional, palibhasa nasa ibang bansa at hindi directly affected, sobra makapuri sa current admin kung paano maghandle ng crisis, wala naman dito kaya naman nasa ibang bansa kasi takot maghirap dito nay trust issue din sa mga local government agency pero makapuri wagas tapos natuwa dahil hindi na-grant franchise ni ABS. Hay.. insensitive yung natutuwa ka sa misery ng ibang tao.
