Hindi ko ma-gets yang issue ng ABS CBN na yan bakit pinatatagal masyado?! Sabihin na natin na totoong expired ang franchise, hindi ba pwede na mag-fine or bayad na lang sila ng penalty. Hingan ng necessary documents at kapag complete na, bigyan uli ng franchise. Andaming tao na affected, que true o hindi na 11k ang employees nila, yung katotohanan na may nawalan pa din ng trabaho sa gitna ng pandemic e hindi biro. Kahit 1k or 500 na tao lang yan, malaking bilang yan.

Sana tapusin na at yung reklamo naman sa singil ng Meralco ang pagtuunan ng gobyerno ng pansin.

Mas marami kayang drama sa hearing kesa sa teleserye ng ABS-CBN...LOL! Kidding aside, kaya tumagal yan ng taon kasi ayaw asikasuhin ng channel 2. When they were asked bakit 2014 pa pala eh bakit di pa nila inasikaso. Ang sagot nila, they thought they had enough time. Tumatagal yan kasi marami silang tanong na hindi nila masagot ng diretso. Privelege ang franchise, hindi right. ABS-CBN ang may gusto ng hearing because they are losing millions per day on ads. Tama, mas maraming dapat asikasuhin so kung ako, i-pending na lang muna ang ABS-CBN. Kapag natapos na ang pandemic siguro saka sila mag-resume. Pero di pwede provisional franchise. Either bigyan or wag..period!

Every time magcomment ako sa FB on ABSCBN franchise issue, hindi ina-approve. Haha! Yung mga pro to shutdown na masaya sa misery ng mga mawawalan ng trabaho pinopost niya. Hmp! Puro ABSCBN celebrities lang din naman laman ng blog niya.

hindi rin kc biro ang hinihingi ng abs cbn ulit na another 25 years of franchise natural lang na sisilipin at sisilipin mga lapses nila within 25 years na nag air sila kaya medyo matatagalan payan...sabi nga ng kuya ko if ever makakabalik sila sa ere then pagbabayarin nalang ng mga mistake nila like tax etc, imagine billion ang pinag uusapan then meron pang mga penalties yung box na dapat free etc for how many years baka malugi din sila.

If there are loopholes sa batas when it comes to tax payments isn't it the lawmakers job to fix those loopholes. I doubt na there are no other big companies who practice the same thing. Kaya nga they hire a bunch of corporate lawyers and CPAs di ba. Incentives given I suppose are in the law, so what's wrong with using those incentives. "Tax avoidance because of those loopholes" is not a crime.

I don't think ABS-CBN will be given a franchise in this administration.

Flawed din Kasi law and process ng Pinas. If gusto ka talaga arestuhin, they can really find something. If gusto ka nila palayain/not guilty, you can always find a loophole.

tax avoidance is NOT tax evasion. it's a legal way to reduce your tax liability. any tax lawyer will tell you that. now, kung feeling nila dapat maging illegal yung measures ng abscbn, or any company, to reduce their tax liability, gumawa sila ng batas. nakakaloka kasi mga congressmen.

sa mga nagsasabi na kasalanan ng abscbn kasi di nila inasikaso since 2014, ilang beses na sila nag-apply. congress ang nagdelay nang nagdelay. ngayon nga lang nagkaron ng franchise hearing na ganyan. halatang pambubully lang ang gusto gawin. di nila naisip na hindi lang employees ng abscbn ang affected. pano yung  mga suppliers and subcontractors? pati businesses around the area? may domino effect yan.  and they  are trying to close (well hindi naman totally close dahil makakapag-operate pa din naman through other media pero, still, magkakaron ng massive retrenchment for sure) during this time na madami na nawalan ng trabaho.
