I agree sis I think we should count the gestation age kasi fetal age is just an estimate of the doctor base on the size and development of the baby. Naka 2 appointments ako and both appointments may difference na days sa fetal age. Unlike sa gestational age fixed sya based on LMP.

So basically 1st week ng March ako Due instead of 2nd week.

Hi ladies! 13 wks today. Ask ko lang- how much folic acid should we take? May nababasa ako to be taken 1st trimester lang and then stop na.

The only med im taking is Elevit. It has 800mcg of folic acid. Should be taken before, during and after pregnancy. Di kasi uso dito magtext kay OB so Im not sure if continuous ko pa ba ito. Next appointment is at 20 weeks pa for my scan.

Hi! Continuous yung folic acid ko. Bale nagstart ako 1st tri, Folic acid 5mg cap and obimin plus (1mg folic plus other pre natal vits). Ngayon 2nd tri, Hemarate FA (600mcg folic plus iron) and obimin pa din. Until manganak na daw ito.

PS: now that I think of it parang ang dami ko supplements pero baka dahil yun sa high risk ako at 2x ako nahospital dahil sa Threatened Abortion. Hehe.

@J.warner - 5mg Folic Acid din ako. 6 weeks ako nung nagpa check up, once a day lang, 60 days nireseta saken. Till 14 weeks sya so parang end ng 1st trimester din. Will ask on my next appointment kung itutuloy ko ba. Pagkatapos ng 1st trimester mo sis sa appointment mo ask mo nalang OB kung itutuloy ba or for sure your OB will mention it and give you more vitamins.

I feel you sis ganun din dito sa Dubai hindi uso itext ang OB. Lahat ng questions ko Google or here ang tanong ko.

^^ thank you mga sissies!
Ilang weeks na kayo now? Pang-ilang baby na including ngayon?

This is my 2nd. Yung 1st ko born 2012, CS ako dun, breech kasi. Low vertical incision so CS ulit ako now. 🤣

Nagba-budget na din kayo?
Medyo kurips pa naman ako.
Btw, alam nyo na if you?re having a girl/boy?
Ayaw namin malaman until day of birth haha para surprise talaga.

Hello! 1st pregnancy, 19wks na today. 🙂 Next month pa malalaman ang gender. Nag iipon na ulit. Last month kasi nabawasan dahil naconfine ako for 3 days plus ang dami gamot.

Ngayon kasi kahit isang towel, booty or mitten wala pa since we are waiting if blue ba or pink. Haha. Buti may room na kami na yellow painted at least neutral color.

12 weeks today, 1st baby.

Nakaka excite mamili pero I?m controlling myself kasi its too early. December siguro kame mag start mamili.

16 weeks and 5 days yesterday and kinonfirm na ng OB that we're having a baby girl. At 14 weeks sinabe nya "you might be having a girl" tas kahapon confirmed na. Abang abang nalang sa hand-me downs. hehe. Regarding sa vitamins, marame rin rineseta saken pero di naman ako high-risk and pinayagan na nga ako ni OB magtravel papinas sa 28th-30th week ko. based in UAE pala kame sissses, mga 9 hours byahe din, hehe. Nakakaexcite tong stage na toh :)

Hello mga sis congrats to all of us!

I'm 37 and will have my first baby first week of March;) I'm 13 weeks pregnant and taking Folic Acid, Nervex and Amino Brain for prenatal vitamins although di ko naiinom ng regular yung amino brain and nervex kasi feeling ko nakakaaggravate ng nausea ko (which I read that it does insome cases  :-\) especially nung first trimester ko so I make sure nalang to eat right and make sure that I have a balanced diet.

I found out  nung nagpostiive ako sa PT and I was already delayed na ng 3days and may kakaiba ko pakiramdam, nahihilo na napopoops prang ganun hehe. I had my first ultrasound at 6 weeks and confirmed by the OB na baby has a heartbeat of 150 bpm at that time. Second ultrasound at 9 weeks 3 days  and baby's heart beat at 169. Right now medyo nawala na yung feeling ng laging nasusuka but napalitan naman madalas na headaches which I'm taking Biogesic for (only paracetamol ang allowed for preggy not ibuf
profen

My hubby bought me a maternity pillow yung C shaped sya na unan kasi experiencing insomnia sometimes and according to reviews nakakatulong sa maayos na pagtulog and also add support narin sa growing belly when sleeping. We also bought a weighing scale to monitor my weight gain because there is a recommended weight gain for pregnant women, di dapat sosobra and kukulang here is the link to check yours https://www.calculator.net/pregnancy-weight-gain-calculator.html

And also I use Ovia Pregnancy and Glow Nurture app to track my pregnancy, very helpful sya with lots of information concerning pregnancy and you can even share the app with your husband or partner para parehas yung view nyo. Anyone else sa inyo mga sis that's using an app? :)

Hello sa ating mga Mommies! And Congrats rin po hihi  :)

Ako din Feb 2020 due ko hihi, this is my 2nd pregnancy and sobrang iba yung pagbubuntis ko now. Dati as in normal lang lahat, ngayon nahirapan ako haha! Sobra ko magsuka and mahilo as in whole day sickness, even my vitamins and milk hindi ko mainom kasi isusuka ko lang hays, until now.

Thanks and God Bless sa atin.  :) ;)

^sis J.warner I thinks it's generally safe to do waxing during pregnancy pero dahil mas sensitive ang skin kapag pregnant it may be more painful than usual? :-\ About using efficascent oil kapag masakit ulo, okay lang din I think kasi external naman sya gagamitin. But you can ask your OB to be sure.  :)

^Thanks sis! Pag nalaman kasi nila buntis ka ayaw tanggapin. Baka daw mag cause contraction.

Anyway, I recently discovered magnesium oil spray super effective sakin sa headache. 1 spray lang sa bandang baba ng batok.

^Sis @J.warner and @ indaydora

I heard my baby's heartbeat via a fetal doppler na ginamit ng OB ko when I was 11 weeks. A fetal doppler  is a hand-held ultrasound transducer used to detect the fetal heartbeat and is generally safe to use.

We actually bought our own online, second hand na at P800. But be sure that you know how to use it to avoid misinterpreting the result like what happened to me.  :P So nung ginamit ko sya ang naregister na FHR was 65 bpm and I got scared because the normal FHR should be 100 bpm upwards.  So we immediately went to our OB then dun sa doppler nya, which of course was way more expensive and more sensitive than our device, the FHR was 160bpm so nawala yung worry ko. I told her about the doppler I bought at made her teach me how to use it. It turned out that mali yung pagkapwesto ko ng doppler and what I was hearing was yung hearbeat ko pala! ::) So I had her use mine tapos hinanap nya kung saan nkapwesto si baby and she got the true FHR. She also asked me to buy an ultrasound gel kasi yun yung nakakatulong para magtravel yung sound dun sa device.  :)

Mga sis do you believe in Chinese chart gender prediction? 😅

https://m.huggies.com.au/pregnancy/early-stages/gender-prediction/chinese-birth-chart

Accurate kasi sa 1st ko.
For my current 2nd antayin na lang daw namin on the day of birth.

Congrats to everyone! :)

First time mommy and EDD is around 2nd week of March 2020, give or take hehe. I'm currently at 13 weeks & 1 day today. Been TTC for 6 years na and really really grateful that we were able to conceive naturally. We were already visiting Kato for IUI &/or IVF but thank God for our miracle.

We actually found out when I was already 2 months pregnant. I'm diagnosed with PCOS so nung 2 months nako hindi nagkakaron, I thought na-mess up nanaman yung cycle ko. So I went to my OB first pero sabi niya since inaalagaan nako ni Kato, sa kanila ako bumalik kase she might prescribe medicines to me na ayaw ni Kato. So punta naman ako agad ng Kato the following day. Sabi nung doctor sige TVS na tayo to see what's happening. And to our surprise, sabi nung nag-TVS sakin, ma'am kaya pala hindi kayo nagkakaron, may baby na! Super non stop tears nako from that point. Funny pa kase wala si hubby, ngek, haha kase akala namin routine check up lang.

So thankful lang na wala akong morning/all day sickness at all. Napansin lang namin ni hubby na palagi akong mina-migraine and ang takaw ko daw during those 2 months haha.

^ swerte naman you have no morning sickness.
Yan ang reason why ayoko na magka baby after this. Nadedepress ako sa morning sickness (all day). 😅
Congrats sis! Naalala ko tuloy sister ko they been trying for 6 years now since they got married, di talaga sila makabuo. Nagpunta na din sila Korea, SG, and Taiwan for IVF ba tawag dun, wala talaga. Low sperm count daw. Hes only 37, my sister is 35.

Anyways, Im 16 weeks today, I felt some baby kicks few mins ago nakakatuwa. This is after I had large muffin and humiga ako agad hehe.

^Thanks sis! Lahat nga ng mga mommy friends ko sabi naku very good si baby, hindi nag morning sickness si mommy. Pero now na alam na namin, medyo lumalabas na yung other symptoms hehe. Sobrang antok ako palagi, as in and walang energy hehe. Parang gusto ko lang nakahilata maghapon. ;D

Then these past few days, may cramps nanaman. Hindi naman severe or extremely painful pero medyo mas intense from the past weeks. Nag google ako, ito ang sabi, "During the second trimester, a common cause of cramping is round ligament pain. The round ligament is a muscle that supports the uterus, and when it stretches, you may feel a sharp, stabbing pain, or a dull ache in your lower abdomen."

Na-experience niyo din 'to? Super kakapraning lang hehe 1st timer kase. But I'm due for another check up on Saturday naman, so I'll ask the OB pa din.

Around 13 weeks. Lasts for 5-10 seconds every 10 seconds basta ganun. As long as wala ka spotting, nothing to worry. Its a sign daw baby is growing.
