I'm NOT random, I just have many thoughts.

I did experience mild cramps sis around 35 weeks, kaya habang nagkacramp napalaba ko ng baby clothes. Then around 36 weeks also, kaya napaprepare ako ng hospital bag. Then just yesterday, 37 weeks, umabot ng 45 minutes yung pagmeasure ko ng contraction kasi parang wave na rin sya. Pero ok na ako ng 37 to 40 weeks...

How many weeks ka na?

I am 37+6 sis..could this be a sign of labor na? Nangangalay din ang likod parang cramps..

Sisses, totoo padin ba ang tiktik or I am just being paranoid, 2-4am may naglalakad sa bubong 😑

Relax lang and God will take care of the rest. Hope you have a safe delivery with no issues. Good luck sis! 😊

^^could be false or practise labor ng uterus mo sis, preparing for the big day. They have what it calls 5-1-1, wait for the contraction to be 5 minutes apart, 1 minute duration, lasting for one hour. Yung 5 minutes should be from the beginning of one contraction and the beginning of the next contraction (start to start). Kahit di mo pansinin kung gano katagal yung contraction, importante yung interval tska within an hour. Then punta ka na hospital.

Tiktik, sa probinsya sis baka uso yung kwentong tiktik. Baka that's how people there explain miscarriages and stillbirth. Pero di naman yun totoo sis. Parang mga alamat lang. Pwede ka na manganak anytime.

Kamusta mommies? Nanganak na ba kayo? 😭
We were at the hospital kagabi for suspected water bag leak. Pero pinauwi kami ni OB [textspeak!] within normal range pa daw amniotic fluid based on ultrasound. Then around 3:30am I felt contraction na. First time ko mafeel throughout this pregnancy. Around 40 to 60 seconds and 5mins apart. Di pa rin tumitigil until now.

Gave birth yesterday to our boy trese. Water bag broke at 12.30pm the other day, gave birth via nsd 2.30am yesterday.

Pedia is currently doing baby's blood culture to check kung nandun yung infection dahil may meconium na eh. Then they will administer antibiotic for 3 days. Ito pa naman yung iniiwasan ko kaya I was deeply considering induction during 40-41w.

Anyway, apart from this healthy naman si baby overall. He's also breastfeeding well.

Wow sis glamorosa. Congratulations sayo! Kaya ba Trese kasi third baby boy? Hihi. Ang galing mo! Ako, i just gave birth. Pero thankfully baby and I are okay. Hay grabe first time mom here and im so overwhelmed and happy.

Congrats sis darkjuliet! At least nakaraos na rin tayo with a healthy baby.

At the end of the day, baby's safety comes first.

Boy trese tawag ko kasi Feb 13 lumabas, hehe... Good luck sa fourth trimester :)

Hi mommies. Gave birth also on January at 33+3 weeks. She?s doing well and wala syang sakit, she?s just small and kailangan lang palakihin.

Good thing may milk naman ako and so far exclusive breastmilk pa sya. Kaso lumalaki sya kaya lumalakas demand nya ng milk and low supply na ako. And my baby needs exclusive breast milk sana kasi premature sya. Anyone knows how to increase milk supply? I tried a lot of things pero pakonti talaga from 150 ml dati ngayon 40ml nalang napupump ko. Huhu.

sorry, napadaan.

-regular pumping (every 2-3 hours), most especially pump between 2am-4am kasi that's when the milk-producing hormone is at its peak
-more water (min 4L everyday)
-galactagogues / milk-boosters
-iwas stress

Thanks sis tried all of that except pumping at 2-4am Medyo mahirap talaga. 2 days with lactation cookies, 2-3 hours pumping during the day, ayun kaninang umaga naka 150ml ako, pero during the day 60-80ml lang.

So naka 350ml ako today. Konti pa din diba. Medyo nakaka stress.

Sis from 150mL to 40mL, then to 350mL -- small victory na yun sis.

As your last resort pwede ka magback up ng donated milk. Merong FB group "breastmilk donation philippines" or join ka ng mga mom groups like Smart Parenting Vill to ask.

-You can also try having warm compress muna prior expressing milk.
-Change your mindset na umoonti milk mo kasi the milk supply will really decline.
-Eat lots of galactagogues. Malunggay all through out kahit sawa ka na sa lasa then lots of water.
-As I have read from Breastfeeding Pinays, babies need only 1-1.5oz per hour no matter how old they are.

=)

Congratulations to our new mamas! :-*

Na-admit ako last Feb14 kase during our routine check up na NST may lumabas na contractions 2-3 mins apart, I was just 35w5d at the time so hindi nako pinauwe. Then while in the Maternity ICU, nag shoot up yung BP ko to 165-170 while sleeping and already on meds, nag positive ako for Preeclampsia. I was given hypertension meds which I'm still taking.

While admitted, I was also injected with Dexamethasone to accelerate the maturation of the baby's lungs. Problem ko with this is may steroids siya and it will increase my sugar (I have GDM). Since no choice naman, my endo just upped my insulin.

Nag stabilize naman kame ni baby and we were discharged ng Feb17 but with orders of strict bedrest with bathroom privileges only.

Currently at 38w1d and OB said during my check up earlier na mag induce na daw siya by Friday. From my scan 10 days ago to today, 100g lang ang na-gain ni baby, usually daw dapat nasa 200g per week. She prescribed amino acids for protein and advised me to eat more protein. May BPS ako ulit on Friday before siya mag 100% decide na mag induce, pero most probably ganon na nga.

I was hoping for all natural sana but basta all for the baby. Let's see baka magparamdam na si baby before Friday, full term na naman kame.

Sorry, medyo napahaba hehe ;D
