Best Facial Clinics and Treatments for Acne
« on: November 22, 2018, 07:11:39 pm »
Hi!

First time kong nagpafacial sa Dermstrata.

And anong treatment yung inaavail nyo?  :)

Hi sis,

Have you consulted with a dermatologist before availing any treatments?

For my case kasi my acne has died down already but before I tried any treatments I made sure to consult with a derma first to be sure baka need ko na rin uminom ng mga oral meds.

sa mga nasa mall na clinic, pinaka nagustuhan ko is Bio-essence, dermatologist yung tumingin nun sakin dati.
Pero di ko narin nabalikan. Siguro as long as ma-check muna ng derma before availing treatments. Skinstation madalas meron din derma. Also, Skin and Body by Medicard.

For my acne woes,

I go to skin house since I have been a fan of their doctor. Even though I have kids, I still get those acne breakouts and they help me a lot to tame it.

My fav facial is their acne advance treatment that has glycolic peel and led light therapy. Another fav of mine is their 24 karat Gold Facial, I love how fancy it looks and my skin does glow afterward. But at the end of the day,  I agree with Jiyongah you have to get a consult first from a derma to know which one it will work for you.

Went to Flawless last July for my routine facial but decided to consult with a Derma since my skin is acting up that time, akala ko I have dry skin since nakaka dry talaga sakin dito sa Middle East, I guess because of its dryness nag secrete ng excess sebum lalo kaya may times na nag break out ako, since akala ko I have dry skin Ive been using moisturizers, serums, etc yun pala I have oily skin. She prescribed their facial na medyo advanced kasi may chemical peel and gamot na iiwanan + their acne kit Mesoestetic, a bit pricey almost 10k 4 pcs lang + the treatment/procedure, but it worked, until now, I noticed na if I do my chemical peels religiously like twice a month, hinde nagfe flare up pimples ko or kung meron man ambilis ma control. Suffer ka nga lang talaga kasi micro peeling sya so may days na magbabalat ka and if you're using make up mahahalata. Ang daming laman nung products, since after 1 month di mo na din kailangan araw arawin, pero yung mousse foam ko ubos na after 3 mos since twice a day ko ginamit.

Can't say its the best, since I've tried several na din naman, but recently this is where I went and it's effective, both the procedure and the kit.

You should check out Dr. Armelia Torres from Enhancements. She's really nice and excellent at her job.
Prive Estetica is also a very good clinic, as well as La Jeunesse.

Prive Estetica and Enhancements is at Centuria Medical Makati, and La Jeunesse is at Mall Of Asia. They're all worth checking out.

If you'd like to get discounts and save money, you should check out My White Card at www.mywhitecard.ph
They have great deals and promos for those who want to avail treatments from the aforementioned clinics.

You have a lot of good
options if you live in QC and Makati. I live here in Bulacan, very limited ang choices ko. The most accessible are the ones in the mall. I recently availed of SkinStation?s diode promo. It comes with free Hyal-C facial.. But I?m really hesistant to claim that free facial because I only trust dermatologists especially pag face ipapahandle ko.

Skinstation offers painless facial also. They call it hydrafacial yata. So curious to try that. And meron din no prick facial and korean facial, if i remember it correctly. But the price is steep @ 5k per session.

When I was in college, I go to Dra Lea Martires for my facial treatments. She does pricking+Microdermabrasion+ Vitamin C infusion. Sometimes nagpapa TCA peel din ako. Those for me are the most effective facial treatments I?ve tried.

True. I've tried their facial before out of curiosity. I saw that they were not able to clean all my whiteheads and blackheads, especially on the nose area which my concern area.

I suggest to always consult with a dermatologist before trying any facials. It's scary cause if you're not careful it might end up with scars.

I agree with Dra Leah Martires!  Honestly walang nagagawa ang facial to reduce acne.  In most cases it even worsens them.  Go to a dermatologist for pricking, injection & peeling.  That will solve your acne.  Or consider taking accutane.  I took it for 6 months, best decision ever!  & also use tretinoin & sunscreen.  You'll ahve the best skin ever!  A lot of products & services in the beauty industry do not have scientific evidence.  Most are purely gimmick & marketing.  Save your money & don't fall for these.

Sis, do you use Dra. Martires products? I used it for ilang months, buong set yung binili ko pero parang di ako hiyang kaya I stopped.

To all sisses, may marecommend ba kayong facial clinic in Alabang? Gusto ko sana try Facial Care Center or House of Obagi, di ko alam if ok sila. Ang layo kasi ni Dra. Martires sa akin, pero mura talaga mga treatment niya.

I finally mustered my courage to get a facial on 10 January at Let's Face It Greenbelt. I just went for their basic facial with pricking. At the time, I had been breaking out, but just surface pimples with some hormonal ones sa chin. My facialist was really attentive and magaan ang kamay. She even wiped my tears whenever I'd tear up during extraction. After that, my skin cleared up a bit and became so much better than when I first went in. I know they say it takes maintenance, i.e. regular facials, to see results, so I intend to go back monthly to have my pores cleaned and my pimples pricked by a professional. It's a plus pa that their services are really affordable!  ;D
