CPD units RANT! to renew PRC licence.

Pwede ba paki batukan si Trillanes for this CPD Law. Sakit sa ulo ito ginawa batas na ito...masakit din sa bulsa at masakit pa sa loob mo igive up na lang mag pa renew ng PRC license mo. Just imagine a government employee or r&f professional employees na pamilyado saan pa kukuhanin i budget pambayad sa seminar. Mag leave ka na sa work mo mag bayad ka pa sa seminar. Not unless sponsored ng iba company cpd seminar mo. Haisst naku malapit na ako mag pa renew...I earned 11units palang, i still need 19 units. Sa 11 units na yan magastos... i book in hotel for 2days plus registration pagkamahal and byahe ako for 2days papunta and pabalik then 2 days seminar. So 4days ko just for 11units. Ok lang sana kung ganun kadali i squeeze yun time. I hope ma abolish na yan or make it more enticing and friendly  ever.

Sino dito nagtry na mag renew without CPD units at all? Kasi need ko na mag renew ng license this month and as in wala pa talaga akong units at all. I heard about some form of affidavit but i would like to ask our sissies here, baka may nakagawa na. Or pano pag kulang ang CPD units, anong ginawa or nangyare? hehe would appreciate your replies

Kulang na ako sa time kaya pumirma na lang ako ng affidavit. Kainis yang CPD law napakapabigat talaga. Lalo na for us OFWs. Wala naman kami sa Pinas tapos irerequire pa kami ng mga ganyan.

Were you able to get your ID? May kakilala kasi ako na resibo lang ang binigay, parang yung sa driver?s license dati lol. Yung isa namang friend ko nakuha naman daw nya yung ID mismo. Iba iba.

I can totally relate. Expired na din license ko nung May pa. I don't have any points as of now. Napakatipid pa naman magbigay ng points sa amin, approx 1-2 points lang per seminar. Sino ba namang gaganahan umattend at magbayad para sa kakarampot na points. Hay..

Sana hindi nalang ginawang mandatory yun, just like taking up a Masteral degree. Pwede namang optional yun then yung mga gustong mag-level up ng skill through cpd points, they can charge higher since may added knowledge sila.

Eh kaso what do we expect, bugok yung author ng cpd law eh. To be a senator nga, di man lang required sa kanila na college grad. Basta can read and write lang pwede na. Dapat government officials ang mas may matinding requirements and qualifications para naman matino magpalakad ng bansa.

Hello sis! Just wanna share my experience with this CPD implementation and renewal.
For those renewing 2018, we are required to get 27 CPD pts so we can renew. Last year (2017) it was 15 pts. Next year (2019) full implementation na daw sila so 45 pts na talaga need and they won't accept UNDERTAKING na, which is what they call the waiver you sign when you renew. Example is when you are required 27 pts for renewal this year pero yung naipon mong pts lang is 20 so may utang ka na 7 pts. Which will add up to the 45 pts you need for your next renewal, which will make it (45+7=52) 52 pts na. In my case, nagkulang ako ng 1 CPD pt nung nagrenew ako nitong August so need ko 46 pts for my next renewal. So, para sa mga magrerenew next year, grab nyo na ang 27 pts this year, hanggang pwede pang magundertaking.  Need mo pa to get CGS (certificate of good standing) from your org for them to know na active member ka ng professional org nyo.

Also, PRC renewal is super hard na kasi it is online. I think they implemented it this August or late July lang. You have to make an account sa PRC website and schedule an appointment sa mga PRC satellite office na merong sched for the day. For example in my case, walang ibang slot that day but yung sa POEA PRC satellite office (ortigas) lang, so I grabbed it na kahit malayo sa akin kasi nagleave ako the whole day for my renewal talaga. I made the mistake of still going dun sa PRC sa Morayta kasi yun yung main office diba and dun talaga ako nagrerenew pero di na daw tumatanggap ng walk-in doon, online na daw lahat. So no choice, pumunta ako POEA after ko magpasched online. Good thing, wala din masyadong tao doon so it took me less than 15 minutes to renew. Nakuha ko din [textspeak!] bagong ID ko that same day.

Sobrang gastos ng CPD law. I hope maconsider din nila to atleast make amendments/revision soon. Magastos and hassle talaga sya.

Maganda naman hangarin ng CPD, much better kung nagwowork ka sa big company free na yung seminar, pero kawawa yung iba na nangagaling sa sariling bulsa. Then take note na until now 450 pa rin renewal ng PRC sana kahit ginawang 150 pesos man lang para makabawas. Ang mahal kaya ng mga seminar may mga start 2k then 11k so talagang nakakainis especially kung yung suweldo mo eh, minimum lang. Sana mero palibre yung goverment ng seminar tapos depende sa experience yung units.

yung isang colleague ko, she spent almost 20k to get that 27units. yung iba pa sa 27 units nya, subsidised. masakit talaga sa bulsa. lalo na for me na part time ko lang yung profession ko that needs prc license. hindi ko mababawi in 2mos yung 20k na yan working part time sa profession ko na yun. kaya hay. sana lahat ng angles tinignan muna nila bago nila ginawa tong batas na to. 27units, too much eh. anyways.

Online na si PRC nung 2016 pa
, may mga fixer pa sa labas na ibubook ka daw for schedule. Pero hindi na tumatangap ng same day si PRC mas madali kung ikaw gagawa madali  lang register online wala ka pa extra bayad. Tsaka 27 ngayon year depende sa profession ata o lahat na yan CPA kasi ang laki ng kailangan nila bale next year full blown na itong CPD. And yes, you can claim yung i.d same day.

Hi mga sis. Kaka-renew ko lang din ng PRC license. Good thing 27 cpd units palang ang requirement until december and thankful i got 30 cpd units for free from where i work. I mean sponsored kasi. 😊 yes tama po na online dapat and hindi same day ang appointment sa registration. Mas maganda siguro kung satellite office because mas konti ang tao and mas mabilis. You need to upload 2x2 id pic with white background and i think dapat may collar. And make sure na dalhin nyo narin ang picture in case need ng staff. Yung una ko kasing nakausap ok na daw yung nasa online registration ko pero yung last hiningi pa talaga id pic ko so just be ready.

Due na rin ako for renewal ng prc license ko. Swerte ko lang free yung cpd ko libre kasi ako nung instructor. Basta attend lang ako tuwing may class and kung kulang pa pwede ko sabihin ilan pa kailangan ko and bibigyan nila ako certificate.

Yung sa amin may surety bond nga lang so every renewal need to get a bond pa. Yung cheapest kailangan doon pa sa harap ng prc sa manila mismo so ganun din kailangan rin doon pupunta. Sa satelite office ko lang sana gusto kasi meron malapit sa akin 5mins away lang. 

Hassle talaga yang cpd kasi for me kahit free sa akin i still need to attend and be there personally. Usually sa makati yung class and whole day. When i look around most of the people there hindi naman nakikinig. They are just there for the certificate.

Exactly masakit at big hassle sa bulsa. Im not practicing my profession pero gusto ko syempre prc i.d ko di expired, Sayang din kasi pag need nila just your license and signature may extra income pa. So pwede pa pala ako humabol, i just need 16units. Thanks sa info mga sis.

^oo sis ganon nga. Most of them are on their phones. Mahahalata kung sino yung mga andun for the cpd kasi nag pho-phone lang sila, those who are there to really learn talaga nakikinig naman.

Ako during the review nasa front ako parati dahil pag napunta ako sa likod hindi nako makikinig for sure kasi ma distract nako. So pag nag cpd ako dun sa instructor he is expecting me to sit at the front. E wala rin ako plan makinig most of the time i am on my phone rin working pero dun ako sa front pa din umuupo kasi pag late ako yung harapan na lang ang vacant. Kaloka. Haha.

Problema ko rin itong CPD na ito, as in wala pa akong na-e-earn na points dahil ofw ako. Sana bago ma-expire license ko next year eh ma-amend na ang batas na ito. Kung hindi eh baka hindi na ako magrenew.

Magre renew na din ako this month at prob talaga yang cpd na yan. Mga sis, pano pala yung affidavit of undertaking, sa prc satellite na lang ba ia accomplish? Wala pa sya pag nag online ka? Thanks.
