CPD units RANT! to renew PRC licence.

Magre renew na din ako this month at prob talaga yang cpd na yan. Mga sis, pano pala yung affidavit of undertaking, sa prc satellite na lang ba ia accomplish? Wala pa sya pag nag online ka? Thanks.

Yes sis. Sa satellite office na sya. Bibilangin pa kasi nila pts mo beforehand.

Eto nag hahabol ng units bago matapos ang 2018. Last April pa due ang renewal ng prc i.d ko, hopefully maihabol ko kulang kung units this month. Kaso mukha kapos ako ng 2units. Pwede ba kulang ng 2 units then i carry over on next renewal?

Yes, they'll let you sign the undertaking para carry over na for next renewal.

I'm ECE by profession but I don't practice it. Nasa IT ako and I don't need to renew my license, and spend so much time for just measly number of CPD points...

Other IT certifications are better worth my time.

Anyway, meron bang pag-asang mawala yung CPD law?

Nag-iisip ako kung magtake ako this year ng board for the new profession I'm pursuing o pagpaliban muna o huwag na lang... unnecessary stress, expense, and time para saken yung mag-ipon ng CPD points... kung hindi mawawala yung CPD law, baka hindi na lang... wala rin namang direct impact yung mga common seminars na binibigay dito sa concentration ko...

Also, kunwari after more than five years na wala kang CPD points and renewal, and then bigla mong gustong i-renew? Are you going to multiply the needed points by 5?

sana iammend lang yung number of units. kasi ang stupid lang talaga.

example yung sa CE, yung mga umattend ng National Convention 9points lang ang na-earn nila. gumastos pa ng malaki kasi registration pa lang mamumulubi ka na. eh 45points ang kelangan...

di makatarungan.

Yey! Finally naka renew na ako ng license. May oath of undertaking ba tawag dun na next renewal mo i-complete yung kulang na mga units. And good thing 15units na lang din bago requirements yata so ok na ako for 3yrs ko. Yehey!
