Masasabi ko lang dun sa situation ni alyssalicious is that kung gusto talaga nila to make things right, hiwalayan na nung guy yung wife nya ngayon and not use her as some safety net habang they plan their future kuno. Napaka-righteous lang kasi dun sa pagkaka-justify nung relationship eh (well, halos lahat naman ng kabit ganun), but there is no excuse for the husband to keep using his wife like this. If alyssalicious wants to be with a guy like this, bahala nya sya jan LOL, but the judgment comes from betraying/deceiving the wife and kids.

Hi Sis @alyssalicious

You are correct sis, this is your business. But would you consider sharing your experience with us? It's a learning experience and it will also help those other people facing a similar situation as you to be informed or enlightened, especially those who are not confident enough to speak up. It also helps usSo sis, i have a few questions, please i do hope you share:

1 - how did you meet your bf?
2 - how long have you guys been dating?
3 - has he met your family/friends?
4 - have you met his family (his parents not his wife/kids)? have you met his friends?
5 - how often do you see each other and what do you guys do?
6 - what steps (measurable, not words lang) have you guys taken to change your situation?
7 - have you had any meaningful relationships before? or is he your first bf?
8 - did you ever put yourself in the shoes of his wife? even if all you said is true on your side, do you ever wonder how is his interaction with his wife at home? if walang suspicion ang wife nya, it means he is still acting normal and sweet sa wife nya.. doesn't that bother you?

i have many more questions but wanted to start with that. I did not want you to feel you're under attack. You are not under attack here. Our sisters are concerned about you and the wife, but more about you since ikaw ang may connection kame, dito sa girl talk. Lalo na you mentioned you are 23. That is a young age.

You might feel like it is not, and that you already know what you are doing. You are partially correct. But yung 30 years old, 45 years old, even 65 years old naloloko. The point is anyone pwede maloko. Did you know there are a lot of CON-MEN and serial scam artists out there  who can gain someone's love, sympathy, and trust... only to be betrayed in the end because of money, visa, or any other type of gains? I am not saying this is the case with your guy. He may very well be honest. But I'm saying that so you understand our perspective and why we are concerned, because there may be red flags which we'd love to be proven wrong, for your sake.

Hope you can share with us sis, kasi marami talaga kame matutunan dito sa experience mo. No one is judging you.

Old saying na madami pang lalaki pero totoo to.

Regardless of the circumstances, the remains that HE IS MARRY MUCH MARRIED. I mean, how can she just brush that off? It sounds like the guy can't grow balls too. Swerte nya he found a sugar mommy.

Off-topic, but related na kwento: this happened many years ago. I have a female friend (let?s call her Ana). Ana met a Filipino guy (Bryan) who was introduced to her at a Filipino mass after-party in Southern California. Bryan pursued her relentlessly immediately after that and Bryan was so so sweet, caring and the perfect bf ever. At 6mos of dating, Bryan was talking about a future with Ana -- marriage, kids, family, etc. and how he wants to take care of Ana, their future family, and of Bryan?s mom who is aging na. We all loved him and were impressed this is a guy who knew what he wanted and was not bullshitting around, he was hardworking and generous to Ana even if he did not have a fully-stable job yet, he had a job naman so money was not tight on his end, he just did not have better job I guess. So naturally, they made plans together for a future. Because Bryan just moved to the US, he was not as financially secure as Ana nga and  we was still struggling to find a more stable job nga. So he asked her to get married and wanted to marry as soon as possible, but asked Ana to understand that he is not able to financially help because of his situation. So there you go they started wedding planning.. ok lang sana ang sitwasyon, but then Bryan had certain demands that irritated all of us, but we just let it go because we thought it was all normal as part of wedding prep stress. Bryan insisted that his mom and siblings must attend the wedding, but because walang pera si Bryan, he insisted Ana please buy their airfare from the Philippines to California. He also insisted Ana to pay for the entire wedding. So yes, they got married, Ana paid everything including the travel of Bryan's family.

Soon after their wedding, Bryan said yung visa sponsorhip nya sa US from the company that he was waiting on is taking too long. He even showed us the sponsorship letters and documents from the employer. He said he was getting frustrated and prefer to get a different job na lang, so he insisted Ana to sponsor him na as her husband, para mapabilis. Naturally, Ana did just that, husband nya yun so of course. He got his green card and started looking for a job agad. Next, he insisted to Ana to petition his mom, kailangan daw kasama nya ang mom nya sa America. No big deal naman so they did it. Ana just had a 1 br condo at that time. So maliit diba? Ana initially wanted to rent a bigger place, 2-3br but Bryan insisted sayang naman at bumili na lang sila. At this time, si Ana pa rin ang may stable income si Bryan job-hunting pa rin, and odd jobs here and there. So sabi ni Ana, antay na lang sila bumili pag may stable job na si Bryan because she was afraid of the monthly mortgage on her single income. Insist si Bryan and he said he will contribute even sa odd jobs nya na income, yun nga lang he could not co-sign the housing loan yet kasi wala syang credit profile pa. Away nanaman yun but convincing si Bryan and it made financial sense naman since married sila and wanting to save financially in the long run. So sige, Ana sold her 1-br condo, and asked her parents for help to make a deposit on a proper house. Ana's parents were more than happy to help as a gift to the married couple. Anyway so ayun na may bahay na si Ana and Bryan, with Bryan's mom also living with them.

One year passed and nag-iba ang ihip ng hangin.. si Ana gumagastos lahat sa bahay even the full mortgage payment. Hindi na maganda ang mga kutob namin. Bryan's excuse is he needed to help his family sa Pilipinas dahil may problema daw doon so he has to support them.

So lahat ng magandang plano ni Ana and Bryan before the wedding, halos hindi nag-materialize. But life throws curveballs at you so sige lang, push pa rin si Ana and hoping after maka better income si Bryan and mag-iba ang sitwasyon ng relatives nya sa Pilipinas, that they can move-on and finally achieve their goal of having kids, and gumaan ang financial burden ni Ana.

Fast forward three years later, no kids yet.. time has passed and Bryan had every seemingly valid reason to delay having children still. He also had every valid reason to be financially on the lower hand, so Ana was paying the house and sometimes even providing for Bryan's own needs, and even Bryan's mom's needs because Bryan was providing for his relatives sa Pilipinas. Bryan also had friends visit them sa US and nag-stay pa sa house nila for a month, wala namang problema.

Then, shortly after their third wedding anniversary, Bryan filed for divorce. Ana was broken-hearted and shocked... she felt like it came from nowhere after all the years they were working together as a couple and making sacrifices.

Anyway fast forward today, ayun divorced na sila. Bryan got his green card, is now an American citizen actually. And has petitioned his "cousin" Cathy to come to the US. Bryan and Cathy are now married with 2 kids. Ginamit lang ni Bryan si Ana. He just wanted her to get a green card, become a citizen, and live his life. Worst part of this is, feeling namin may alam din yung mother ni Bryan pero nagbulagan sa kasamaan ng anak nya kasi anak nya yun, and syempre nakinabang din sya. Does Cathy know about Ana? We don't know but we suspected hindi.. kasi Ana said, in hindsight, that Bryan would always be talking to Cathy in private, sneakily.. she didn't make a big deal out of it at the time kasi she trusted bryan, he had a lot of reasons and appeared real. But she said she should have thought more carefully at the time, the signs were there but she did not think any of them, trusted their love.

We asked Ana if they were sexually active.. oh hell yes they were! Ginamit sya in so many ways, at dahil married sila, ang divorce nila favorable pa kay Bryan because naghati sila ng assets even if the truth is, si Ana ang nagbayad lahat!!!

Bryan was the ultimate con-man.. he planned everything so well. For those that don't know, by law sa US dapat three years kayong kasal to get a permanent green card. If a couple divorces before hand, the green card through marriage will be revoked. Bryan planned ALL OF IT. And he made Ana, and all of us believe, he was legit. May iba pala syang plano.

Haba nito mga sis, pero the truth is, people with ulterior motives are always there around us. Sometimes they are not very obvious like in my friend?s case, kasal na sila we never ever doubted Bryan.

why is everyone afraid to call a spade a spade?  it's cheating, it's being taken advantage of, it's naivete to think this fantasy will come to life.  very harsh words, but c'mon,  we all know, based on our life experiences,  someone here was made to believe all his lies to be truth so that's her bible now.  as much as this girl sounds so sure and confident of their plans,  her litany reads to me like somebody's wishful thinking only.
anyway, I wish her family finds out what she's up to with this guy, hopefully they can intervene.

OMG at ana and bryan! May kakilala/naririnig din akong ibang mga kabit na pineperahan lang pala, but ang pinaka malala na alam ko is this coworker of a friend who ended up buying her ka-affair a car. It was one of the rare times na naawa ako sa kabit. Hindi din naman kasi sya mapera to begin with. She was warned about him but didnt listen.

Hahahaha sis, i agree with your post. Sobra!!

ang daming girls na bata, going out with a "Dirty" Old Man -- often times wala ako masabi kasi buhay nila yun and can't judge what i don't know. But you see them happy because they are BOTH getting what they want out of the relationship, no strings (or hopes) attached. He wants her youth and her body, she wants his wallet. That's it..  it's not for me though, regardless if single or not si old man.. i don't want a man's wallet kasi, so it won't make me happy. I want partnership, love and lifetime commitment (which i have found already).

But we know naman even sa ating experiences that there's already red flags from the beginning. We girls, just chose to ignore it....for whatever reason. I am not saying it's Ana's fault. I am just saying we girls tend to not learn. Wag sana mangyari sa akin yan. There are times na may nagmi-message na Pinoy sa akin tapos makakapal fez, gusto pa magpalibre sa Tim Horton's eh di ko pa nga nami-meet? Hello, di pa naman ako ganon ka-desperate. Mga leche!  >:(

^Eh buti sana kung me itsura? I'm like, "Gurl, tingin tingin muna sa salamin pag may time!"

Kidding aside, feeling ata nitong mga kababayan natin eh wala na akong ka-choice choice. I am not saying lahat ng Pinoy ganon at lahat pangit.

And maraming SCAM artists. Yung sa kwento ko, Ana is an intelligent woman. Her family, friends, the priest, everyone was all supportive of Bryan. Even ako nakasama ko sila we never doubted how "pure" Bryan's intentions were. After the fact na lang.

May mga taong ganun sis -- they use charm, hypnosis, the science and art of influencing and winning others. They study and use human psychology, to scam others. Mahimasmasan ka na lang after... we even see it in the news diba? It's hard to believe until it happens to us or someone close to us that we know can't possibly be fooled.

alyssalicious: i know it feels like we're piling on you but really, what do you see in this guy? based on what you shared kasi, honestly i feel sadder for you than the wife. you're saying that they don't sleep together? that's bull freaking sh**. they are sleeping together, probably far more times than you guys do. you know how i know? because they live together and she doesn't know that he's sleeping with you a few times a week or a month. you don't live with this guy so you have no idea how many times he gets it on with his wife. he's never going to tell you that. he is not honest with you or his wife or himself so lying about how many times he makes sweet, sweet, sweaty love with his wife is nothing.

bata ka pa sis. this is your early 20s. you should be out there having fun, spending time with your friends, dating a bunch of people, traveling, building your wealth and figuring out your career path. this is the only time in your life that is completely your own and you need to enjoy it so that when you get older, you won't have any regrets. instead, you are tackling on problems and responsibilities that you are not equipped to handle. ibang iba ang relationship from when you see each other once in a while versus living together. i'm telling you that. he has experience living with someone and if he sucks so much now that he had to cheat on his wife with whom he has two kids, he would suck even more as a man who had to settle for his kabit, filled with regret, anger and self-hate.

yung bf mo, he is a weakling. he is a loser. he never had the guts to take control of his own life and he is using you to feel like a man. problema na siya ng ibang babae, inako mo pa. honestly, if i were married to this loser, i'd kill myself. hey maybe the wife is like, hey girl, he's all yours. yang ganyang uri ng lalaki sis, pag nawala sa life mo, mapabubuntunghininga ka sa sarap and relief. burden kasi talaga.

also, think of it this way-- what would your parents say? what would the people who love you say? aren't they important? i mean, if your family knew about this, would they be ok? if you're in a relationship with someone you can't introduce to your family and friends, you shouldn't really be with that person. make the right choice, girl. it's not too late. don't ruin your life like this.

^well said sis @otra_vez, very well said... i think sis alyssalicious would think about it. Hopefully she responds and answers some of our questions..

I've never encountered any except Bryan in my story. But i know they exist. My husband ganun din very thankful he met me, his parents are immigrants so he knows maraming ganun (looking for visa) so careful din sya.. and thankful sya hindi ako fresh off the boat hehe... kasi dami ring girls naghahabol sa kanya dati, mga FOB so they had nothing in common.

And yes sis, if ako ang wife and pabigat lang sa kin si guy.. WAG NA LANG. would rather be single (may thread na ganun)!! My ex is a loser in life.. not so obvious kasi spoiled sya sa magulang nya.. but anyway i always think ang kawawa ng current GF/future wife nya.. unless super 'basic' si girl who is happy with a guy na ganun. But alam ko rin my ex he has eyes for other women, hindi sya loyal, pero projection nya loyal sya... yuck.. iniwan ko nga.
