I already listed my 2018 financial goals on my budget notebook. Here are some of my financial goals na seem to be attainable:

1.) save at least 2 months Emergency Fund at the end of the year (hirap kasing magsave kapag nagschooschool na rin ang bata)
2.) save 1500/month to my daughter's bank account
3.) increase our mutual funds allocation
4.) save at least 1k per month to my Pag-ibig MP2 (this is separate from the monthly pagibig contribution, more of a savings account na 5 years ang holding period)
5.) minimize credit card charging monthly
6.) start travel fund for my daughter's 7th birthday (a year and 3 months to prepare)
7.) add additional insurance (most probably health insurance)

Hoping to a prosperous 2018.

^Hi sis, please click on the link below:

http://www.pagibigfund.gov.ph/faqpdf/FAQ%20MP2%20FINAL%20(7-14-17).pdf

My financial goals for 2018:

1.Planning to get MP2 din sana pero  nakakatamad naman kasi magpunta sa Pagibig office, i?ll check later kung working na online application nila.

2. Ipon pa for travel fund.

3. Magloan ako sa SSS, its my 2nd time na magloan ako.

5. Magloan din ako sa PagIbig. Tagal na din ng last loan. Di ko alam if tama itong ginagawa ko na magloan maski walang paggagamitan pero may nag-advised kasi sa akin na dapat i-utilized ko ang sss and pagibig loan.

4. Continue my Ipon challenge na derecho sa bank account ko and continue my other Ipon challenge na readily available sa mga biglaang needs ko.

5. Open ng savings account for my kid and hulugan regularly.

6. Continue pa din equity fund.

7. Ipon for school tuition fees and books.

8. Ipon ng Christmas budget for 2018

1. paid our personal debts sa parents namin. perang pinahiram nila nung nag-move in kami sa sariling house namin.

2. opened a Pag-ibig MP2 account. to mature on 2022.

3. continue H's SSS voluntary contributions.

4. got life insurance for H. and VUL for my mom (for estate tax payments)

1. Open PERA fund accounts for H and me.

2. Complete our 6 month-emergency fund.

For 2018, eto ang mga goals namin:

1. Open PERA fund accounts for H and me. at makahulog ng at least tig 50k for each of us.

2. Help H open his own MP2 account.

3. Complete our 6 month-emergency fund. Target ko, before May 2018 buo na ito.

4. Save at least 15k for Christmas 2018

5. Save for travel fund. Auto-debit from payroll account for this one.

( Travel goals: 2 local or 1 international travel for 2018. Japan for 2019. US for 2020.:) )

6. Save for the annual insurance payment of H  and my mom.

7.  Save at least 150k for our 3rd annual home loan balloon payment to achieve our long-term goal of paying off our home loan in only 7 years instead of 15.

2018 Promises to achieve our financial goals:

1. limit online shopping expenses to only up to 1k/month

2. bawas fastfood takeouts

4. magpa -repair muna ng gamit instead of buying new ones para makatipid.

Hi!

This has worked for me in the past and will continue to do for 2018.

I allocate my pay accordingly:

As soon as I get paid:

1. Emergency fund (6 months minimum - once this is reached I will continue to put money in but a smaller amount), say 5%) - 10%
2.  Long-term savings (towards business, real estate etc.) - 10%
3. Retirement/investment - 10%

70% will go towards fixed and variable expenses. Whatever I can save from the variable expenses will go to:

- fun fund (entertainment, dinners etc.)
- travel fund
- christmas 2018 fund
- clothing fund

Ladies and gents, it's important to automatically put money towards items 1-3 because that is for your future. As long as you are contributing to the top 3 items, the rest is flexible. Do not touch 1-3 (if possible) unless you are desperate (hence the emergency fund) and learn to live on 70% of what you earn.

Some things I am doing this year to get more from the 70%:

- Eating out less  and bringing baon instead. It's healthier :-)
- Making my coffee or tea at home and putting it in a thermos
- Buying second-hand instead of new
- Keeping a fixed amount of cash in my wallet and sticking to the budget
- Making homemade goods (cookies etc.) as Christmas presents and maybe asking the recipient one thing that they want for their birthday. I might even just reserve presents for kids and adults get something homemade or a coffee gift card.

I hope this helps and good luck!

Sister ko meron siyang kabayan savings and peso savings account sa bdo then meron pa siyang checking account and another savings account uli sa dalawang magkaibang banks. Ang purpose kasi niya unreliable ang bdo pagdating sa emergency so mabuting may pera sa ibang bank in case na kailanganin bigla and also kumuha siya ng VUL ata or MF dun sa other bank.

Soon-to-be wed in two months and my future hubby and I have talked over the weekend the following financial goals:

1. Monthly tithe
2. Build our emergency fund until May 2018
3. Save for our second investment as a couple - agricultural land (which will be the source for our housing loan in 2019)
4. Grow our online business more and save some profit from it for re-investment sa iba pang mini-business na naiisip namin

Personal financial goals ko:

1. Build own emergency fund until August 2018
2. Never fail to deposit money sa Sunlife VUL ko
3. Monthly payment of my SSS/PAGIBIG and Philhealth. :'(
4. Post my townhouse investment in Cavite so that someone can finally rent/buy it. Medyo napabayaan ko to last 2017, bayad lang ng bayad sa monthly pagibig loan
